22/01/2025: Excellent pizza convivial environment

21/12/2024: Esperienza negativa sotto ogni aspetto. Il locale era freddissimo, dato che il muro della veranda era sostituito da una tenda, del tutto inadeguata considerando che la temperatura era sotto 0°. Abbiamo aspettato due ore per ricevere una pizza (mediocre). Inoltre, il personale si è dimostrato scortese e il servizio estremamente inefficiente.

16/09/2024: Definitely interesting pizzeria for the quantity of dough offered. We relied on the owner to match the dough with the taste of the pizzas chosen and I must say that we did well! It's certainly not the classic pizza but if you like to experiment, it's worth trying! Very rustic but warm atmosphere. PS. The prices might seem a little high but only for gourmet pizzas, the classic ones are not expensive at all.

16/09/2024: Pizzeria sicuramente interessante per la quantità degli impasti proposti. Ci siamo affidati al proprietario per l’abbinamento degli impasti con il gusto delle pizze scelte e devo dire che abbiamo fatto bene! Non è certamente la classica pizza ma se vi piace sperimentare, vale la pena provarla! Ambiente molto rustico ma caloroso. PS. I prezzi potrebbero sembrare un po’ alti ma solo per le pizze gourmet, quelle classiche non sono per niente care.

07/06/2025: Beautiful view, directly next to the Chiesa San Michele. Very friendly Staff, offering Service in english, too. Coffee and Dolci were very good. I recommend ordering a Caffè Shakerato and the Rice cake aswell ad the chocolate biscotti.

12/02/2025: I went last night for a friend's birthday and I had a starter and a first course, what can I say, it was all good. Normal waiting times even though it was crowded. Not too big but nice place.

02/05/2025: A THEFT! The food is good but I think you receive different treatment just for being a tourist! Tap water in a glass jug costs €2 and they also charge €2 for cutlery per person.

15/02/2025: Als Makler, der ital. Immobilien im Angebot hat, reise ich viel in Italien, vor allem in der Toskana. italicahomes.com. So war es auch in Scansano, Februar, so ziemlich alles zu, auf der Piazza fragten wir nach - und gingen hin. Einfach, leer zu der Zeit, Bar und Speisesal mit Blick auf das Panorama. Ich habe so ziemlich nichts erwartet. Tische, Bedienung ect -einfach. Aber das Essen. Wirklich eine Wucht. Frisch, Fleisch auf den Punkt, tolle Pomes ( das will schon was heißen!!) und Spinat dazu. Ich versuchte dann noch Tiramisu - oh ja, hier möchte ich gerne noch mal hin, wirklich!! Erwarten Sie kein Schnickschnack - aber um so bessere Hausmannskost.

18/05/2025: On the way from Rome to Florence, I stopped by and ate here while sightseeing. The Margherita pizza and lasagna were so, so delicious! I don't know about the other menus, but I highly recommend these two! The staff were so friendly and cheerful, so I had a great time eating there. However, when paying by card, the internet was slow, so it took quite a while. Haha

12/05/2025: I ordered take out tonight, overall it wasn't going too badly until the bamboo chicken and Chinese mushrooms.... The bamboo was clearly rotten/gone bad, it tasted like urine mixed with wet wood (some might say that's the flavor of bamboo but always taking these dishes in Chinese restaurants I assure you there was something wrong with them). Searching on the internet the risks from rotten bamboo are very high, even Botulinum contamination, I'm almost thinking of calling the NAS for a health check. Shame on you.

12/11/2024: Dated hotel, old rooms and bathroom to be redone, far from being considered a 4 star but for the rooms it is perhaps a 2 star structure. Staff could be a little more courteous to the customer. Except for the breakfasts which are excellent.

26/10/2024: Pleasant hotel, which was once a Villa, surrounded by a very green park and with well-kept corners where you can walk. Well managed and with honest prices. Too bad it's always full of mosquitoes and there are no mosquito nets on the windows. Then the rooms, being ancient, are not soundproofed. Good breakfast served in the lemon house.

20/04/2025: Surprising place. Really great food. Kis had a lasagne, adults had gnocci with langoustine and risotto di mar, I had the polpa which was amazing. Service was great. The location is really nice with a kids park and the long beach.

31/05/2025: Rediscovered after years of closure, with the new management it was a pleasant surprise. Good quality menu as the pizza really excellent, good value for money, as well as the service. Recommended
