26/03/2026: The staff is very kind and attentive. We stayed for a weekend and the rooms were adequately heated. It has everything you'd expect from a mountain retreat. I don't understand those who complain about the prices and the freshness of the bread. We're not in the city and it's about an hour and a half on foot to get there. Let them go to Forte dei Marmi!

Ideal for any occasion, from aperitifs with various platters, including vegetarian options, to dinner with a delicious selection of crabs and wraps, all completely gluten-free! They also have a fantastic cocktail list, and for gin lovers, a wide selection of labels to suit all tastes. In short, it's my favorite place! ❤️

22/09/2025: We had pasta with prawns and a meat platter with fries. Unfortunately, neither was edible. The pasta was more than chewy (raw) and absolutely not tasty. The meat was cooked through, tough, and underseasoned, and the sausage tasted rancid. We sent the food back. The full amount was charged on the bill! The staff was very friendly, though! Comment on the chef: "The Germans" Unfortunately, I wouldn't recommend it!

02/02/2026: I don't recommend it. Dishonest people. They asked me to pay a certain amount, and I didn't have any cash. I asked if I could pay by debit card, and they charged me 8 euros more than the initial amount. Unfortunately, I didn't see how much they'd entered into the POS terminal, and I only realized it after I left, when I received the payment receipt online. Truly dishonest. If you want, I can send you the payment receipt!!!

The menu has been reduced to 5-6 sandwiches (the quality of the food has also deteriorated), and they advertise liqueurs they don't have. Embarrassing service. They charged us for items we ordered but didn't receive. The place has also become very commercial and ordinary.

28/03/2026: DELIVERY Experience... Maybe it's changed management??? For the first time, I'm sad to see a marked deterioration in everything... 1) Hamburgers SERVED WITHOUT FRIES! And without even writing or specifying it, and above all, for the same price...! 2) Bread quality has significantly deteriorated...now it's kind of rubbery and no longer crumbly like it was a few weeks ago... 3) Bun size has been significantly REDUCED... 4) Sandwich selection has been reduced to 4 "flavors" and no longer the range of choices we had before... Do you really expect a customer to continue being one at the same price with this deterioration in service? I don't know... I obviously won't order again after years of always choosing Borgo Burger precisely because of the QUALITY! WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT.

02/04/2026: We found this accommodation with our family of four and would definitely give it 5 stars+. The apartments are absolutely charming and tastefully furnished, perfectly suited to the surroundings. The owner, Simona, lives and breathes her project, filling the "Penna Alta" with holiday apartments and an osteria serving local cuisine, all imbued with her own unique character. Anyone wanting to experience Tuscany up close will find themselves right at home here. We enjoyed a set menu featuring several local dishes at the osteria and were absolutely delighted.

08/04/2026: I didn't like it at all. First, they lost our reservation, then they took a while to find us a table. I absolutely didn't like the first course, not to mention the second course, which consisted of three slices of machine-cut veal with two potatoes on the side. I don't think I'll be back.

31/10/2025: I was shocked 😲! Make sure you pay each piece you eat right away. I was overcharged and when I asked for the detailed receipt the man with the glasses couldn't even make up the math. Sad so sad! It was my childhood place, I used to go there with my dad. To steal a couple of euros you must be a very poor soul. I will never set foot again in that place 😒

09/04/2026: Very nice atmosphere in the middle of the mountains, with a beautiful view and authentic cuisine, it is advisable to go when it is hot because in the evening the temperature drops a lot
