Top!! One of those simple places where you eat well and spend little! With the prices around here, it's incredible to see prices starting at €1 on the board! Highly recommended!!

I don't usually rush a review, but to make sure I don't forget, I'll take my time while I admire the sunset from behind the restaurant. What can I say... excellent pizza, and the stuffed pizza is superb... the delicious taste of things cooked in a pan as a kid. They had run out of something, like the cecina, which I love, but I was compensated with something else. Paid by weight, the price was more than satisfactory, and I almost didn't believe I was paying so little. You can eat in front of the restaurant on the street, with public benches available, or wherever you like, since they do takeout. The young staff are smiling and eager to continue this business, which is worth at least a stop when you're in the area. Thank you!

For a quick lunch or dinner by the sea, it's more than perfect! 🤍 The staff are very friendly and have a wide selection of pizzas, focaccias, and breads. The pizza with tomato and vegetables was really good, but I saw they also did hot dogs, donkeys, and cecina (chickpea farinata). Approved!

Mario's is a Follonica institution: a tiny pizzeria on the waterfront that has been churning out pan after pan of pizza sold by weight for over 15 years, ideal for a quick lunch or an evening snack. Don't expect tables or table service: you choose at the counter, pay, and eat on the go, perhaps on the benches outside. The dough is soft and well-leavened, the toppings tasty, and everything is prepared in the back kitchen. The staff is always friendly and helpful. A must-see in Follonica, even if it's more of a "quality street food" place than a proper pizzeria. Four stars only because it lacks a proper space to enjoy your pizza at leisure... but perhaps that's part of its charm.
