19/05/2026: There is simply always room for improvement, but given the area and offers this restaurant is perfectly good. The burgers are big, they are a bit dry but you will feel much better from eating this than a coinoffer. The ladies are sweet and nice, I have eaten in the restaurant alone and have gotten take away from there with my husband too. I really enjoy the onion ring burger, and her fries are well done and crispy - which is a rare thing here in Sicily I feel! Will definitely be back ♥️

Pizzas where realy tasty, balanced and as a travel through Italy.
We highly recommended this place, and also, the place is realy confortable and good looking,oviously a part of history.
We didn't had the possibility to compare with another pizza maker here, but for sure, you will be pleased by this travelling experiences!!! If you like it ,you can taste the carusu red wine, special wine from Etna area, loved it!!! 🤩

23/05/2026: A small but welcoming place. After several visits, I can say the food is truly delicious. Not being a pizza expert, I can't judge the dough, but I can say I've never had a stomach ache the next day.
The owner's constant attention to detail is evident in his search for the right, well-balanced pairings to bring out the best in the flavors of the ingredients and, ultimately, the pizza.
After coming there for a while, I can say they also refine their wine selection, always striving for perfection in the all-round culinary experience.
On weekends, you'll find a friendly, attractive young woman taking your orders!
Overall, a favorable experience, and I'd recommend it to anyone!

14/06/2026: Yesterday I ate for the first time with some classmates, and everything was delicious. I'd only heard about this place by hearsay; I'd recently discovered I'm celiac and no longer went out to eat because they weren't equipped to cater for me. But here I immediately felt at ease and was able to eat whatever I wanted without anyone imposing restrictions. The waiter who took our orders immediately asked if anyone ate gluten-free and brought out a shared appetizer for everyone, including arancini, panelle, and potatoes, which I was able to enjoy without feeling left out. Even the desserts are gluten-free; they actually have a separate kitchen. The pizza was very good, and even the gluten-based one looked delicious. I'll be back.
12/06/2026: Original pizza with very good ingredients, the first and only place in Catania we visited that didn't serve wine - at most beer, although craft, but expensive

05/01/2026: Bar Sgroi was very close to our apartment, so we went there for breakfast twice in a row. There was a vast selection of sweet pastries (and traditional savory delicacies like arancini), including cream-filled trecce, croissants, and Nutella-filled saccottini. We sat at the tables inside (there's also an outdoor seating area) and drank excellent coffees and cappuccinos, served by attentive and always very friendly staff.
Highly recommended!!!!!!
13/12/2025: The girl at the counter was very kind and professional.
The gentleman who served us, I think the owner, is a jack of all trades, serving food (nothing special) and cashing in. Many places in Catania do this, where hygiene standards aren't respected.
You can't serve food, even if you don't touch it, and then immediately touch money. Aside from the regulations, just the thought makes me a little sick.

28/06/2026: This is the best restaurant I've ever been to! Incredibly delicious and incredibly beautiful! A true culinary art! And the location is insanely beautiful. The restaurant is located on the grounds of a castle hotel with a park immersed in roses and olive trees! This place isn't just about the food; it's the atmosphere and charm of Sicily all in one place. If you don't have time to travel the island, just come here! It's a definite must-see and must-taste!

We're from Caltanissetta and arrived at this restaurant thanks to the kindness of a local who pointed us to the place, saying that the inside was amazing, and it's true: good food, extraordinary quantities, a beautiful setting, and truly professional service. We recommend it 100%, but I won't post photos because we ate everything 😋
29/04/2026: The atmosphere is truly lovely, especially since it's in Acicastello, on a little street I really like. We started with an excellent welcome prosecco and some rustic mixed antipasti, followed by excellent meat rolls and, for dessert, exceptionally flavorful Turkish salami. The prices are fair. I'll be back because I'm curious to try the pizza.
I came back specifically to try the pizza, which received top marks for both its cooking, the ingredients used, and the quantity of toppings.
On my second visit, I had an excellent burger, further convincing me of the quality of the cuisine. However, I honestly think the restaurant's prices are a bit too high.

13/03/2026: This little corner on the ground floor of the Four Points by Sheraton hotel is a haven for Sicilian cuisine. I've eaten there several times and enjoyed refined and original dishes, such as a grilled octopus that was divine. My partner raves about it and highly recommends it, just as I do.
