07/02/2026: The best you can find in the area, abysmal compared to other places (which I won't name; I only leave reviews if I can speak positively). Easily accessible, you can stay overnight, and the restaurant offers excellent service and dishes, with excellent and plentiful food.

26/12/2025: 20251217 The staff were very friendly; even with a slight language barrier, they patiently explained the food. The café had a great atmosphere, with Wi-Fi and power outlets available. The sea salt caramel chocolate tart was delicious, perfectly balanced between sweet and savory, the chocolate was very smooth, and the crust wasn't too hard. Very satisfied. The tapas were recommended by the staff (because I said I wasn't very hungry and just wanted a small snack). Each flavor was well-balanced. My favorite was the yogurt blueberry flavor—very refreshing. They also had ham with balsamic vinegar, smoked salmon, and pickled tomato flavors, all of which were delicious.

12/01/2026: Delicious pizza! The dough was fantastic, and nothing fell off. We managed to get in on Friday without a line, but on Saturday it was already very crowded, so it's worth making a reservation :) It's worth trying!

15/03/2026: Everything is ALMOST perfect. The pizza is excellent, from the dough to the ingredients. You can tell there's a lot of organization behind the service. It's a shame to get lost in the little things. A pizzeria of this caliber can't bring you Lidl-bought oil, and only if you mention it will they bring you good oil. I understand the need to speed up operations on Saturday evenings, but serving pizzas before clearing the appetizers is certainly not a good idea. Not recommended for a romantic dinner or a relaxing meal. Highly recommended for all other occasions.

07/11/2025: Bar Pasticceria Dalli became our go-to spot while staying in Mascali, just a short 5-minute drive from our agriturismo. This is a quintessential Sicilian cafe experience. Authentic Atmosphere: The place is typically Sicilian, filled with local people sitting, chatting, and warmly greeting newcomers. It immediately made us feel welcomed into the local community. Top-Tier Coffee: Most importantly, they serve excellent espresso. My husband was so impressed by the quality that he made it his mission to go there twice a day to grab his essential daily input of espresso! The service is fast and friendly, and it's the perfect place to start your morning or pop in for a midday recharge. If you are staying in the Mascali area, skip the tourist spots and grab your coffee here for a genuine local experience

01/01/2026: We order pizzas very often from Punto Pizza. A takeout pizzeria with Michelin-starred quality. The dough is leavened for a very long time, and the ingredients are top-quality. Plus, for every four pizzas you order, you get a free Margherita. Truly amazing! Keep up the good work.

13/03/2026: This little corner on the ground floor of the Four Points by Sheraton hotel is a haven for Sicilian cuisine. I've eaten there several times and enjoyed refined and original dishes, such as a grilled octopus that was divine. My partner raves about it and highly recommends it, just as I do.

15/02/2026: Last night, February 14th, we had dinner at this Valentine's Day-themed restaurant. The dinner was truly excellent, kudos to the staff. Everything was exceptional, with unique dishes: from the nuggets served in avocado sauce to the truffle and stracchino ravioli for the first course, and the braised veal cheek on purple potatoes for the second course—a true delight. I highly recommend this restaurant. The table service was also impeccable, of course.

29/12/2025: ENCHANTED EXPERIENCE Etna Palace was a delightful discovery, truly splendid. The location, with its park, outdoor spaces, large fountain, and covered and uncovered verandas, is truly delightful. The interiors are well-kept and very welcoming, as is the staff: Maria Rita and Angela, as well as their brothers in the dining room and kitchen, were excellent hosts. I had the Christmas lunch, which was excellent, from the entrée with a welcome cocktail through to all the other courses. The fried cocktails were delicious, as were the hot and cold appetizers we received (anything but ordinary in their combinations, with a simple yet impeccable potato basket with Russian salad!). The two first courses were exquisite (and I had seconds of both): both the fresh pasta with a delicious Sorrento-style tomato sauce and the asparagus and speck risotto were superbly cooked, textured, flavorful, and savory (and risotto is notoriously difficult!). The second course (a thin rib-eye steak with mushrooms and an exceptional roux: I had seconds of both), accompanied by a baked potato, a treasure trove of delicious broccoli and prosciutto filling, was truly delicious. I would have loved to have had seconds of the desserts, especially the cream puffs, but I managed to restrain myself. The non-alcoholic drink to start, the Montepulciano served at the perfect temperature for eating, and finally the sparkling wine at the end were perfect pairings for the various courses. Add to that the quality-price ratio was absolutely in favor of the quality (elsewhere, at least, the price would have been about twenty euros more!), and I can only recommend going, and returning!

The aperitivo is also excellent: rich, varied, and always accompanied by fresh, tasty ingredients. A special thanks to Matteo, always kind, professional, and attentive to his customers—you can tell he's passionate about what he does. A place you'll want to return to time and time again!

17/03/2026: Very disappointing! I'd heard great things about Bar Trento, and since I was in the area, I ordered two arancini to go and some crispelle. The salmon one was good, but the pistachio one had something that made it taste almost rancid and dry on the inside. I also ordered some rice crispelle. Five crispelle for €3.90 seemed excessive, but when the rice is also undercooked and they're al dente and unpleasant to chew... that seemed like too much.
