02/06/2026: Unfortunately, somewhat disappointing. In our opinion, the bruschettas were too crispy. The small steak was sold out; we ordered medium and (in hindsight) paid for a large one. We ordered a salad but didn't receive it, nor did we pay for it after checking the bill. However, the service was friendly and the ambiance nice.

24/05/2026: A very nice and cozy place to eat. Don't expect any fancy fuss, but the atmosphere is (unique), the decor is great, and the food was delicious. The owner/host/chef does this out of love, and you can tell by everything. Very hospitable! Oh, and the owner has a background in music, which translates into nice music in the background. Thanks!

04/05/2026: We found it on Google by chance. We took a chance, it being 9 PM on a Saturday night, and were very lucky—there was still a table for three available. We were served immediately, and the pizza (delicious) arrived within 10 minutes. The staff were very friendly. The atmosphere was informal and welcoming. Thank you so much! We'll be back!

19/05/2026: We dined at this trattoria during our trip to Sicily and were truly delighted. We sampled several traditional Sicilian dishes, all prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with authentic flavor. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Furthermore, the value for money was excellent: we ate very well and paid a fair price. We definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Sicilian cuisine!

18/05/2026: My wife and I had dinner here to conclude our week in Sicily. Highly recommended. The spicy mussels were divine, the pasta superb, the Etna wine perfect, and the service very attentive and friendly. Reservations are essential, as it's always very busy! A top spot in Catania.

16/02/2026: In Acireale, I tasted truly exceptional arancini: perfectly golden, crispy breading, and a rich, creamy filling that exudes all the flavor of true Sicilian tradition. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in frying them, which is dry and flawless. Kudos to the chef and owner, who with passion and great professionalism transforms a classic Sicilian dish into a true masterpiece.

21/04/2026: We’ve been to this restaurant four times in a row for dinner, and it’s been the best decision. The ingredients are always fresh, there’s a different daily special every day, and the waiter who served us could answer all our questions and even recommend places to visit as a tourist. If we ever go back to Sicily I’m sure we’re gonna visit this place again.

16/06/2026: The best granita...the coffee one, tried in many other places, is the right balance of flavor and sweetness, without being heavy or cloying, in fact...I recommend trying it to believe it, then if you want to pamper yourself, add cream and you're done... ..young and bubbly staff, which doesn't hurt!

13/06/2026: A very nice little family-run business. I think the two brothers own the place. Very authentic, very, very delicious ice cream, lots of cool creations, and the brioche with jelly was a delight. Plus, the best greasy ice cream we had in Katharina. To finish, another small cross for €1.20 with a cappuccino or espresso for €1, and yeah, life's good. Also, very friendly owners, true to the motto "Enjoy First, Pay Later."

10/06/2026: Without a menu (i.e. no prices anywhere) he brought us a salad and an appetizer plate with some cold cuts and cheeses plus a glass of wine and we paid 50€ which is at least unacceptable. Everything was quite tasty but not enough to justify their price.

27/06/2026: Disorganized service, endless waits, and disappointing customer service. I booked a table for seven at 8:30 PM, specifically requesting an outside seating area. Upon our arrival, we were seated (the place was understandably busy). The problems began immediately when we ordered: there was only one waiter in the entire room taking orders, a decidedly inadequate management decision for a Saturday night. The truly disappointing part was the wait: the pizzas arrived a full hour and a half late, at 10:40 PM to be precise. During the wait, we repeatedly called the staff's attention, and the response was that the pizzeria had "mixed up the orders." To make matters worse, after all this waiting, two of the pizzas we ordered ended up directly burned in the oven. The highlight of the evening, however, was at the cash register. When I reported the incident and the serious delay to the owner, instead of apologizing, he rudely argued that such a delay was unacceptable, as he was relying on the time the order was entered into the system (obviously completely ignoring the time the dishes were actually served). This attitude of complete closure and denial left me truly astonished. There will definitely be no next time. I strongly advise management to pay much more attention to their customers and learn to handle criticism with more humility and professionalism.

It was a truly special evening, made even more enjoyable by the hospitality and professionalism of the entire staff. The food is excellent, and the quality shines through in every course. From the generous platters to the focaccias, from the bread to all the other specialties on offer, everything is truly exquisite and carefully prepared. There's a wide variety of products to satisfy every taste. Special praise goes to the staff, always available, attentive, and kind, ready to accommodate every request with a smile and make you feel at ease. Thank you to all the staff at Le Caveau for helping make my daughter's birthday an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be back and I recommend it to anyone looking for a place to eat well, feel welcomed, and spend pleasant moments in good company.

09/06/2026: The pizzas were very tasty. The pasta a la norma was a bit disappointing. It was very salty and the pasta could have been cooked a bit longer. The atmosphere was cozy and the service was usually quick but not always very friendly. I would go there for the pizza, though.

06/06/2026: In Santa Venerina, CT. Via Mazzini, 46. Corner of Via Leonardo da Vinci. The pizzas we ordered were good, true to Neapolitan tradition with the typical thick, soft crust. The place is very beautiful and well-kept. However, the service could be improved in terms of management and wait times. Overall, a pleasant experience.
