10/03/2026: Excellent pizza, welcoming atmosphere, fast service

06/03/2026: Like many other locations in the Catania hinterland, the food is good, but the quality/price ratio doesn't match the food. Portions are small, the appetizers are ridiculous, and there's not enough staff to serve the guests. There's only one waiter for a banquet of 25 people, and then, near the end, a second waiter arrives. All in all, it's incredibly expensive: around €55 each for a simple lunch consisting of an appetizer, two starters, a main course, drinks, house wine, and service. I definitely won't be returning.

16/02/2026: In Acireale, I tasted truly exceptional arancini: perfectly golden, crispy breading, and a rich, creamy filling that exudes all the flavor of true Sicilian tradition. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the care taken in frying them, which is dry and flawless. Kudos to the chef and owner, who with passion and great professionalism transforms a classic Sicilian dish into a true masterpiece.

08/02/2026: Best arancini on the Island! The service Is friendly and welcoming. Fabio treated us to free samples of zeppole and other delightful sweets I recommend 💯.

10/01/2026: I just celebrated my son's 18th birthday. What can I say? Everything was wonderful. Stefano, one of the owners, and I worked out everything down to the smallest detail. The staff was extremely knowledgeable and friendly, always attentive to the guests' every need. Giulio and Rosi (the manager) were truly wonderful people. What can I say about the location... wonderful, with attention to every detail inside and out.

01/03/2026: A positive experience. We tried the place out of curiosity, simply walking by and without a reservation on a Saturday evening (our fault). But they immediately welcomed us with open arms. The dinner, featuring various seafood appetizers, was excellent, both in terms of flavor and portions, and the staff, both at the tables and at the cash register (Mr. Luigi), were very friendly. The place gradually filled up, while still maintaining a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We really enjoyed our stay. The location is wonderful, right in the heart of Catania's historic center, just 50 meters from Via Etnea. The menu is varied and interesting, from appetizers to first and second courses, with dishes in the purest tradition of Catanian cuisine, reminiscent of the cooking of our mothers and grandmothers—perfect for those who want to eat well! The other dishes we saw being brought to nearby tables also looked interesting. Table service was quick, with little waiting between courses. Again, the wait staff was very kind and always available. We'll be back to try the other dishes on the menu. Thank you all for a pleasant evening.

06/03/2026: A classic spot! Many different choices to choose from, including many vegetarian options too. 2.5 for each and they are very generously sized and filled. Great Sicilian bite.

01/03/2026: The arancini were fried on the spot, but the insides remained cold. I tried one with sauce, but I personally didn't like it. The meat (which was excellent) was disconnected from the sauce, and it wasn't very flavorful. The same goes for the alla norma version, which wasn't very tasty. I'll try it again.

25/01/2026: I'm giving it one star because I can't give it any less. I've been going to this place for years and have always had a great experience. Yesterday, January 24, 2026, the feast of San Sebastiano, in addition to the very long wait of about two hours for a table, I ordered focaccia number 14, with pistachios, potatoes, and speck. After leaving the restaurant, I had a severe stomachache, so much so that I couldn't even walk. I associated this with the meal I had eaten here, precisely because the previous meal was hours and hours earlier. I won't be returning. Highly not recommended.

06/07/2025: I highly recommend this gelateria. Nice, fresh and delicious stuff. I recommend the Granita con brioche and the Ice berg and pistacchio ice cream flavors.

12/03/2026: Excellent stracciatella-anchovy tostadas and vermouth frizz. The non-alcoholic cherry cocktail wasn't very interesting and was too sweet. Pleasant and quick service.

30/12/2025: I'm vegan, and the arancini are excellent, although I think the eggplant should be removed from the pistachio one. Unfortunately, I didn't like the desserts; the fillings seem to be made almost entirely of cornstarch/potato starch. The staff is incredibly kind and helpful.

21/11/2025: Delicious sandwiches and arancini. Very friendly service. The place is quiet and out of the way, but close to the center. It's worth coming here for breakfast and a relaxing break.

10/02/2026: In Riposto, CT. Corso Italia, 51. Wine bar and tavern. Good selection of wines. Prices a bit high.

30/10/2025: Food is patchy. Some like the burrata was very good others like the squid ink pasta was passable. What was most annoying was the anchovy pasta without anchovies. They took the orders even though the chef later admitted that there were no anchovies available. They only owned up when challenged. Good selection of wines and friendly waiter.

12/12/2025: We recently celebrated our wedding in this beautiful location. Everything was impeccable and taken care of down to the smallest detail. The food was excellent and plentiful, the staff professional and extremely kind, the location beautiful, clean, and decorated down to the smallest detail. We are thrilled with our choice. We highly recommend it.
