28/05/2025: We were tourists….and we really lucked out on this restaurant. We don’t like going to the tourist traps. This is a gem! I would recommend the pistachio pesto pasta! Amazing! The panelle palermitane, and the mini Sicilian Fritte were to die for….and in our second visit we ordered the Tuna tataki ….and again simply amazing! Definitely a must if you are in Catania

26/05/2025: Reading the menu you get the impression of high ambitions, unfortunately the kitchen can’t quite deliver on those ambitions. The food is almost there but needs that last bit of QC that only a great chef can deliver. I think that the restaurant would do itself a favour if it reduced the menu to 1/3 of the dishes and focused hard on getting those right. The service is impeccable and the wine list is fairly priced. All in all an ok experience but there is room for improvements.

21/03/2025: The place is nice, the problem is the food. Poor quality, rubbery and not even tasty pizza, terrible burrata, not to mention the digestive problems we experienced. Never again

02/06/2025: Rustic outdoor place, inside a pine forest, very characteristic and suggestive. I must say that both the location and the cuisine are particularly interesting. We went for lunch, service a bit slow despite the few seats but the wait is certainly worth it. Fantastic cavatelli with sauce, very good. The tagliatelle with rugò are also very good. The icing on the cake is the barbecue: exceptional!!! Recommended location for those who are passing through or who want to go on purpose. It is also possible to visit the animals that live in the place.

02/12/2024: We had a wonderful evening here! We were in the entrance room, well heated and welcoming. The food was really great! We started with the french fries, fresh and not frozen, with ketchup and mayonnaise, homemade. Oh my goodness! They were so good that we ordered a second portion, this time cacio e pepe... A real delight!! Continuing with the sandwiches, what can I say!! A goodness! Super stuffed and with very fresh ingredients. I took the one with horse meat, cooked very well, and so tender that it melted in your mouth! Those of the other diners were also really tasty! I will definitely be back!!

22/04/2025: Sandwich shop with both on-site and take-away drinks. Wide variety of butcher and condiments always fresh and of good quality. Definitely recommended

11/05/2025: good range of purely vegan food, but popular dishes sell out before the end of the day! The seating indoors and out is a little rudimentary so best suited to eat-and-go. Great value though

They mange to bring a little innovation and "contamination" in the traditional Sicilian food, and they do it by keeping all dishes as light as possible (and it's not an easy task with Sicilian food). Impressed! Fantastic! We came twice and if we had more time we would have come even a third time

05/04/2025: I discovered this delicatessen 6 years ago by chance and since then I have eaten there every day. The food is of excellent quality also because the owner searches for selected local products. The dishes are all delicious. Highly recommended

12/04/2025: Qualità del cibo: altissima. Personale professionale e cordiale. Abbiamo assaporato le specialità locali, tutte a base di carciofo: quantità e qualità davvero indiscutibili. Complimenti a tutto lo staff! Se ti trovi a Ramacca, non esitare a entrare: è proprio questo il tipo di ristoranti che vogliamo nella nostra bella Sicilia.

12/05/2025: Caffè storico di Catania, molto grande, sempre pieno di gente. È possibile assaggiare le specialità locali di tavola calda o di dolci. È inoltre possibile ordinare ed acquistare torte niente male, come quella alle fragoline di bosco, che consiglio.

24/04/2025: The waitress at the counter is bored and ignores the customers. The coffee has already been paid for. The tables are overflowing with used dishes. The coffee is normal price. Dolce costs 4 euros, tastes OK

07/05/2025: I chose to get their diner pieces for a party, but I have already been a customer for several years. I was more than thrilled. Personally, in Catania I think there are no rivals! The real pistachio diner can only be found at their place. Superlative quality, both sweet and savory. And a great note of thanks also to the staff and the owner. Very kind, polite people, really a pleasure to meet people like that.
