11/03/2026: You'll be welcomed into the dining room by the warmth of a real fireplace, the friendly owner, and the colorful eloquence of a parrot. This is no ordinary place, as is evident from the Umbrian-inspired menu, packed with original dishes. I'll long remember the quail eggs with truffles, but the rest of the dishes were also superb. Artisanal bread and an excellent value wine (also Umbrian) accompanied the meal.

21/02/2026: A lovely restaurant in Genzano di Roma, where the friendliness and professionalism of the owners and staff complement the excellent cuisine they offer. I stopped in for a business lunch and immediately appreciated the order and cleanliness of the place, as well as the perfect cooking of the food they served: amatriciana and pappardelle with porcini mushrooms, perfectly al dente! Definitely recommended for families, too.

The kids all emphasized and appreciated the helpfulness and kindness of the staff, the quality of the food, and the overall organization. It was a beautiful and unforgettable evening for everyone. 20/12/2025: I celebrated my 50th birthday at Lyo on Via Catania, and I returned some time later to celebrate my husband's 70th. I found the same wonderful welcome, the same impeccable service. The staff was friendly and attentive. Lyo is a place that owes its success to the love its people put into their work.

13/03/2026: Hello, I came today, but they said they are only open until 10 PM now. Please keep that in mind. I couldn't eat there, so I made a reservation for tomorrow. The owner told me that a restaurant nearby called Pizza Poppy Poppy and Ripa 12 are really delicious for fish dishes. Anyway, I came to Poppy Poppy.

12/03/2026: I came here because Napoli Tappia recommended it, and as expected, there are a lot of Koreans. To be honest, I didn't have high expectations for the pistachio pasta, but it's delicious. I highly recommend the sea bass dish. Be sure to try the crème brûlée for dessert as well.

03/02/2026: The place is small but well-decorated and laid out, very welcoming. Really excellent pizza, Roman-style, so thin, well-cooked, and crispy. We had the amatriciana, and I must say, I was amazed! Fresh ingredients and a well-balanced mix of ingredients. I can honestly say it's in my top 5 of the best pizzas I've ever eaten. For appetizers, we had two supplì, and they were also excellent. To drink, I chose a really good IPA craft beer. I know a lot of beer, but I'd never heard of or tasted this one. It was a very pleasant surprise. The only small flaw was the wait for service, which was a bit long even though there was a table of several people before us (including some lively children). But the result was worth the wait.

13/03/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ A true highlight in Rome. We stumbled upon Écru quite by chance and ended up absolutely thrilled. The restaurant is also very conveniently located, just a few minutes from St. Peter's Basilica, making it perfect after a visit to the Vatican. The concept of plant-based raw food cuisine is truly exciting and quite different from what you usually find in Rome. The dishes were incredibly creative, very fresh, and presented with great attention to detail. The flavors surprised us because they were so intense and perfectly balanced. The service was very friendly, attentive, and pleasantly relaxed. We immediately felt comfortable and were able to truly enjoy the evening. For us, definitely one of the most interesting restaurant experiences in Rome. We would come back anytime and highly recommend it.

03/03/2026: Wonderful food, super lovely staff, brilliant place to eat! Across the square from Porta San Paolo metro station (ignore Google directions - you can almost see it). Went twice and ate in and took buffet (pay by weight) meals with me it was so lovely 😍 All vegan

18/02/2026: The pizza and appetizers are excellent (I'm Neapolitan, so I speak with knowledge of the facts!) The service is good, and the location is quite spacious and bright. Perhaps the only Neapolitan pizzeria in the Infernetto area that also offers takeout. Highly recommended. 😉

16/03/2026: A delicious gelato shop! They say they make all the gelato by hand. The staff are really friendly! Please note that the Tiramisu contains wine, so it has a slight alcoholic taste! I tried the Tiramisu, Pistachio, and Italian Custard (?), and they were all delicious. The Italian Custard has a subtle lemon flavor, is smooth, and tasty.

10/03/2026: Found this place by surprise when looking for a good gelato around the Colosseum. Damn, it was the best one I had in Rome. Highly recommend it. Just go.
