28/05/2026: I've been to this restaurant twice, and both times, it was a positive experience.
For dinner, I was with a group of six, and we tasted a riot of incredibly fresh raw fish, flawless and beautifully paired with both cooked and raw vegetables, which were also well-prepared. The rest of the meal consisted of rich, balanced, and thoroughly enjoyable first courses.
For lunch, I went alone during a work break. The owner greeted me with his usual friendliness, but with a more welcoming tone. He selected a nice table for me and dedicated himself to suggesting a light and tasty menu consisting of an appetizer of green beans, red date tomatoes, basil, and steamed and shelled prawns; delicious. For the main course, he served me a slice of amberjack, simply cooked in a light sauce of Pachino tomatoes and Gaeta olives; truly top-notch in its simplicity, thanks to the freshness of the fish, the cooking time, and the balance of flavors.
Ultimately, Ghiaccio is a restaurant with a beautiful and elegant atmosphere, without being stuffy; the large windows offer a pleasant sense of openness to the outdoors, and the immense wine cabinets accommodate tastings for a variety of palates and budgets. The owner is always present, friendly with a touch of warmth, attentive to the staff... and that always makes the difference. Finally, the staff: kind, attentive, moderately professional, but ultimately attentive... in true Roman metropolitan style.
20/05/2026: A fine dining experience at its best at Ghiaccio. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome, with warm and attentive service throughout the evening.
The food was truly magnificent—beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. Every dish felt carefully crafted and memorable.
Just an overall “wow” experience from start to finish. Easily one of the most impressive dining experiences.
