Carbonara, amatriciana, and cacio e pepe were prepared exactly as you'd expect from true Roman cuisine. Furthermore, the price is surprisingly fair, especially considering the quality of the dishes. And let's not forget the appetizer: original cured meats, hand-sliced ​​in front of you by the wait staff, a detail that really makes all the difference. The hostess and owner saw we thought our table was too bright, so they brought us out our own table, new, in a top spot! It felt very special and very traditional, family-run restaurant. This place was fantastic- highly recommend…..rabbit was excellent, tiramisu best in Rome!

08/12/2025: We came for lunch for two. There was an event going on, so everyone who wasn't attending was seated in a small room on the lower floor. They were given a fixed menu (the one for the event), a fixed price: €50, excluding drinks and any options you wanted to change, NOT ADD, to the menu (in fact, the only dessert included in the mandatory fee was zuppa inglese...). The portions were enormous, justifying the price. A price that certainly wasn't justified by the setting, the variety, or the completeness of the meal. The food was good, but the first course and the meat arrived barely warm. I'd say it's definitely a system that doesn't work and ruins the experience. We would have greatly appreciated our lunch if we could at least choose HOW MUCH to eat, even from a fixed menu and pay for what we consumed... considering that the selection is extremely limited and the setting and tables are nothing special! I gave one star for the quality of the food and the kindness of the staff at the tables, otherwise it would have been one.
