23/01/2026: The place is good! For a hungry Cuban and a Catalan woman who had just arrived in Rome, it was the best place of the night. The food was good. I recommend the hamburgers. The waiters were a bit cold and distant when they saw you didn't speak Italian, but then again, their English wasn't great either. I recommend it; it's a great way to experience Rome's nightlife.

09/03/2026: We came to dinner at this pizzeria intrigued by the restaurant's reputation, but unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing and definitely below expectations. We waited literally an hour after ordering (with the restaurant, incidentally, half-empty) to receive two pizzas, one of which arrived incorrectly. The waitress's explanation for the long wait was that they had to remake one of the two pizzas. Now, we fully understand that mistakes can happen; it's human. But it's hard to understand how this could justify an HOUR wait for two pizzas, especially with the restaurant nearly empty. Meanwhile, other tables, some of which arrived after us, had already been eating for a while while we were still waiting, unsure whether to wait or leave. The most unpleasant thing came when it came to the bill: initially, they were charging us for the wrong pizza (the one I ordered, which was also more expensive) instead of the simple Margherita that actually arrived at our table. Only after we pointed this out did the manager intervene to correct the bill. The point isn't the mistake itself, but the handling of the mistake. After such a long wait and a wrong order, it would have been at least fair/honest to receive a minimal gesture of attention toward the customer. But nothing. For two pizzas, a bottle of still water, and two potato croquettes, we spent €41 without there being anything particularly memorable, either in the service or the taste, that could justify the wait and the price paid. With all the reputation and notoriety of this place, we expected much more, especially on a Monday night with very few customers. Ultimately, it seemed like the typical place that thrives on name over substance. We won't be returning.

28/02/2026: I had a really good lunch, with excellent buffalo mozzarella pizza and tiramisu. Unfortunately, I found the cheddar burger to be very small, made entirely of ground beef, maybe 50 or 60 grams, for €14. The meat, which isn't a burger, seems excessively small. I thought it was strange, so I asked the owner, who told me it wasn't a burger, but ground beef. I didn't like it at all, and I strongly advise against it. I'm still surprised because we'd ordered the same sandwich a while ago, but the burger was there and it was good. Too bad, I'm partly disappointed.

08/04/2026: At first everything seems ok, I came at night and it was full of alcoholics because the owner sells them even at night, then the owner doesn't even know Italian, you have to repeat many times what you want to take, and then the food seems like a soup of rotten ingredients that isn't even good, not recommended

07/06/2026: I visited this rotisserie and ordered a plate of pasta alla amatriciana and a small bottle of sparkling water. The restaurant offers table service, which I appreciated, but overall the experience was below expectations, especially considering the final bill of €16. I'd like to point out, as always in my reviews, that the pasta was good: the sauce was flavorful, and the guanciale was high-quality, you could taste it. Nothing to complain about the taste. However, it wasn't restaurant-style pasta, neither in terms of service nor presentation, and it's fair to point out that we were at a rotisserie. The main problem is the receipt: the pasta was sold at €22 per kg, with a net weight of 688 grams and a tare weight of 670 grams, for a total cost of about €15.14 for the pasta alone. Water rounded out the bill at €16. But something doesn't add up here: from the photo of the dish, it's clear there weren't 688 grams of pasta; in fact, by eye, it must have been 200 grams at most. So the suspicion that there was an error in the weight (or in the calculation method) is strong and legitimate. I ask for an explanation of how that could have been 688 grams of pasta, and he, very embarrassed, says there were. In short: good pasta, attentive service, but the price was completely disproportionate to the type of establishment. A restaurant bill, in a rotisserie setting. And if even the declared weights seem inflated, confidence wanes. I won't be returning, and I don't feel comfortable recommending it, at least not for a meal. The quality was there, but the value for money is completely off the charts.

07/06/2026: We ordered 2 parmigiana (since they serve by weight, they put too many plates, to make us spend), 2 cod, 2 strips of battered courgettes, 1 supplì and a 66 cl Peroni for 44 euros. Too much for a diner... We definitely won't be back.

13/02/2026: Terrible experience We arrived at 8:15 PM, and the appetizer was brought out at 9:45 PM, with children at the table. I'm sorry, but it was the first and last time I'll ever go there. Terrible service in every way. NEVER AGAIN

02/05/2026: Airport restaurant where communication can be a bit challenging, as the staff behind the counter speak limited English and our Italian didn’t quite bridge the gap either. That said, the experience more than made up for it. The espresso was strong and well-balanced, the focaccia was fresh and flavorful, and the overall meal exceeded expectations for an airport setting. Despite the language barrier, the quality of the food stood out. A solid stop if you’re after a quick but satisfying bite before you head out.

28/04/2026: Absolute excuse of a food establishment and joke of customer service. Ordered a ham cheese and mayonnaise sandwich. Which are all clearly prepared on site as you can see the chefs making the food up behind the glass. Asked for more mayo and was told they “don’t have it” How can you prepare food on site and sell food with ingredients you don’t have on site. Dry and discussing taste. The only thing on my order that was right was the beer which they bought in. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE.

28/10/2025: Really good supplì and croquettes. The pizza is also good, but the service is a bit chaotic. But they're good people and worth a try, so definitely worth a try.

16/05/2026: Scammers, to be blunt. I had booked a nearby restaurant, Primo San Lorenzo, for a conference dinner. The owner of that restaurant is clearly in cahoots with the owner of Tana Sarda, as it doesn't exist. We were redirected here; 70 completely unaware people were called 10 minutes before dinner to inform them that their reservation was, in fact, for a non-existent restaurant. I imagine the reason is that Primo San Lorenzo is a nice and "trendy" place (at least on the surface), while Tana Sarda is a low-end restaurant, ugly, old, that smells like a tourist trap and frozen food from miles away. Which is most likely what it is. The food is simply awful, the waiters are quite incompetent: the menu included one beer each and water for everyone, and they made a fuss because one customer didn't want a beer but something else. The place is absolutely sad. There's nothing redeeming about this place, which I would have given a #1 review even without the scam. Throughout all this, they were completely calm and seemed completely unconcerned about my protests of "you scammed us." In fact, they even had the audacity to complain to me that I hadn't been very precise about the numbers (which I had always made clear; I had chosen the other restaurant because it would allow standing; this one is a dump and obviously unsuitable for the evening we'd planned). A surreal experience.

10/05/2026: I'm truly sorry to have to write this review because this restaurant had been a wonderful discovery for me and my boyfriend, but this time the experience was rather unpleasant. The courgette flowers were still frozen and were served 20 minutes later. Our order was lost, which can happen, but when the first courses finally arrived after almost an hour of waiting, the carbonara had an undercooked egg, the spaghetti was almost raw, and the pasta that was supposed to be with porcini mushrooms actually had mushrooms. We stood up and were allowed to leave without paying. An apology and more attentive staff would have also been appreciated.

03/07/2026: Way over priced for what we got. Be careful of additional surcharge. It has the most expense orange I have ever bought at 13.5 euros a small glass. Do not go for breakfast or any meal for that matter at this place as their prices are horrendous.

03/07/2026: Awful restaurant. It's sad to say that in such a place there is a place that is below all standards. The prices for breakfast are astronomical, with two scrambled eggs, not to mention the fact that they were cold and hard as powder. Plus two coffees, water, and juice, it was 100 euros. Shameful and regrettable.
