A welcoming place at the entrance to beautiful Calcata. Simple, plentiful, and delicious dishes. Extremely friendly staff and significantly lower prices compared to other cities. Recommended!

A typical local restaurant, it exudes tradition and pure goodness. A few years ago, we ate fettuccine with wild boar, pasta with porcini mushrooms, and a platter of cured meats and cheeses: it was absolutely spectacular, especially the fettuccine. The owner, Adolfino, is incredibly charming and a symbol of Lazio's sense of humor.

How much did I love this place? The atmosphere is casual and a bit rowdy. Original decor and tasty food. Located at the entrance to Calcata Vecchia, it's a must-see if you're in the area.

A lovely place with a friendly, welcoming, and personable owner. Excellent, generous appetizers. First courses could be improved: the pasta wasn't well-mixed, the ingredients were disjointed, the pasta was watery, and the sausage and mushroom first course had too much herbs. The meat was good! Fair prices, there's room for improvement, but overall, a good experience.

25/08/2025: The pizza wasn't bad. Easy to digest and nicely topped. On our way back from the beach, we stopped and noticed the customers' pizzas. We enjoyed looking at it and even watching it. We'll be back!
02/08/2025: We had a Neapolitan pizza dinner in the indoor dining room, given the temperatures that were far too low for summer. Service times seemed a bit long considering the number of tables occupied, but the pizza was definitely good. The dough is good, but not excellent; what makes the difference, on some pizzas, is that extra touch above the ordinary: for example, on the sausage and porcini pizza, the pecorino sauce gives it an unexpected flavor, making you want to eat bite after bite! For some pizzas, therefore, the slightly higher-than-average prices are appropriate; others, however, didn't impress me enough to justify the difference compared to other pizzerias of the same caliber.
