14/06/2026: My husband and I chose La Gaiana as our wedding venue, and consequently Jari for our catering, and what can I say? Everything was breathtaking and perfect. Impeccable catering, with care and attention to the smallest details, help and support with everything during the planning and during the wedding itself. Stefania and her husband, Jari, are truly exceptional people, reliable and professional; we felt truly at ease and in good hands. As for the food, we can only say WOW... everything was delicious, excellent products, and impeccable service. All our guests showered us with compliments on our choice. We would choose La Gaiana and Jari 1,000 times over! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to experience the most beautiful day of our lives like this!

31/07/2026: We stumbled upon this amazing cafe our first morning in Bologna on our way to the train station from our air BnB. We ended up there every morning to kick off our days journey and tried every sandwich and dessert we could. I highly recommend checking out this local gem, and would give them 10 star if possible. They are closed this summer Aug 3-25 though, so check it out when you can!

14/06/2026: Very nice place, super friendly and helpful staff, and excellent, plentiful food. Every time we go, we always have a great time. The grill is a real treat, especially the meat with sauce! Special mention to Liu, super nice and kind :)

14/06/2026: The food is always very good, and Liu is always kind and available to make us feel comfortable. The place is quiet and welcoming, and the portions are tasty and generous! You won't regret it! I especially recommend the bacon with kimchi!

09/07/2026: We had a mixed experience at Zenzero. It took the staff quite a long time to notice us after we were seated, and when they did approach us they weren't too friendly. However, the food was great, delicious seasonal vegetarian dishes that were both hearty and light. If you're looking for an interesting plant-based option out of the old city centre, it's worth a try.

12/07/2026: Light, airy, crunchy pillows of expertly treated carbs. The topping variety changes throughout the day, and that’s a massive plus—it just means they are consistently cranking out fresh, incredibly delicious offerings. We loved every single thing we tried. Bonus points for the high-quality olive oil sitting on the table; I found a bottle and drizzled it right on my slice because I like my pizza well lubed up. Absolutely top-tier pizza. It’s done by weight so point at what you want and let them know how big. They will heat it up and cut it down to bite size morsels for your nibbling enjoyment.

30/10/2025: BEWARE of "too good to go" croissants⚠️ Yesterday, October 29, in the afternoon I purchased a bag for €4.99 (worth €15) and was quite dissatisfied. Besides the drastic change in attitude from the staff when I explained I was there to pick up the bag and not to buy, the variety was practically zero: I received 6 croissants. I have nothing to complain about, however, regarding the packaging and the empty croissants, which I found to be good and of decent quality. However, I find myself having to make a complaint here too, since the two chocolate croissants (two different types of creams, one of which I suspect was egg-based) had a filling so hard and/or acidic that they were inedible. It took me a while to figure out what flavor it was and that it was supposed to be chocolate, and I had to throw them away, even though I was disappointed given the app's anti-food waste policy. I realize fresh products can't be guaranteed, and that's fine, but those weren't even from the day before, or even the day before that... I'm explaining what happened because I'm in the midst of food poisoning and I'm hoping the situation doesn't worsen so I don't have to go to the emergency room. I hope the staff can intervene to prevent more people from getting sick, but in the meantime, I STRONGLY DISCOURAGE PURCHASING TOO GOOD TO GO FROM THIS BAKERY.
