30/08/2024: Delicious, traditional gelato just a short walk from where we stayed in Bologna. The ice cream was rich and creamy, and the wide range of flavors made choice difficult but rewarding! I plumped for Straciatella and Pistachio, and my Dad for Caramel and Praline, and we were really pleased with the flavour, texture and the sheer refreshment on a hot day. The patrons of the shop were also really lovely, guiding me through some of the flavours and their pronunciation. I highly recommend it if you visit the city!

03/07/2024: Very welcoming and elegant place, a little small, a few minutes from the station and a few steps from the bus stop. Polite and friendly staff. Wide choice of delicious desserts and cakes. They make VERY GOOD husbandzzi like the one I ate in Rome. It takes a maximum of 30 minutes to accommodate all the customers.

15/08/2024: Buffalo pizza with porcini mushrooms very good, the lady at the cash register was kind. Pizzeria to recommend. They offer towels to sit on the lawn outside.

03/07/2024: Praised by industry sites as one of the best pizzerias in Bologna, I didn't find anything exceptional, a tiny bruschettina with butter and anchovies, a napoli with little mozzarella and a bologna (mortadella and baked potatoes) that were normal. Good and well-leavened dough, filling to be improved. Quick and courteous service, environment to be re-established. Prices in line with the city. Lots of name, little substance.

22/08/2024: We wanted to try the Bologna lasagna for our last evening in the city, and came across this restaurant. The lasagna there is very good for a reasonable price (14€). We were made very welcome and the waitress who took care of us was very pleasant. I recommend!

09/08/2024: We discovered the ice cream parlor while walking past and then went in. The owner seemed rather disinterested to us. He didn't really listen when we ordered our ice cream, he preferred to talk to another gentleman. The ice cream was very tasty and you can tell from the consistency that no emulsifiers are used.

26/08/2024: Very welcoming, clean place with a beautiful fireplace, EXCELLENT and very digestible pizzas considering the very long leavening and the very little yeast used. The fried crescentine are a fairy tale with their platters of cured meats, cheeses and various sauces. A tribute to the attentive, attentive and very kind service and the prices are more than honest if you then compare it with other local restaurants/taverns... well La Tana Dell'Orso has no rivals in terms of quality/price! I recommend it to all those looking for typical and healthy eating from the Emilian Apennines.

14/07/2024: The bar is located just outside Borgo Panigale, right on the ring road and it was providential to find it open on Sunday morning. The area is very popular with workers from the numerous businesses in the surrounding area. Excellent assortment of sweet pastries displayed in the window, given that it is also a pastry shop. The interiors are informal, as is normal in a place of this type. We only had a coffee and a chocolate croissant. The coffee is good and especially the croissant filled with delicious chocolate. Despite the heavy influx of customers, the staff is very quick in providing service and also friendly. Suitable for a sweet break from work or for a short break before taking the nearby motorway. Advised

21/07/2024: Ci siamo fermati all’Hotel Donatello per una sosta di viaggio ed abbiamo voluto cenare al Ristorante Donatello. Sale ampie e funzionali, servizio cortese ed efficiente. Ci siamo divisi un tagliere piccolo di salumi e prosciutto: abbondante per essere una porzione singola, accompagnata da ottimi gnocchi fritti. Poi mia moglie una tagliata, io un piatto di ravioli ,dalla forma di piramidi, molto ben accompagnati da melanzane e formaggio; purtroppo non ricordo il nome del piatto che consiglio . Gustoso e dall’interessante impiattamento. Buon rapporto qualità prezzo.

01/07/2024: nice nice restaurant, the food is very good, I personally had a pizza with pistachio, mortadella and buffalo mozzarella and it was very good. They have a great mirror for taking photos.
