Excellent food, I often get takeout since I live a few meters away, but the location is also nice. The owner is super friendly, and while you're waiting for your takeout, he always offers something to try. Highly recommended, I've been going there for years and have always been satisfied, both with the food and the courtesy and attention they give to their customers.

A delicious, historic African restaurant in the Bolognina neighborhood. The staff is incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. It's a bit disappointing to no longer find the same habits of thirty years ago, when people ate with their hands and shared dishes, but we'll be back! Recommended for those who love experimenting.

I hosted a work lunch on Saturday for translators. The restaurant was lovely and gracious in accommodating our ever-shifting needs. The food was varied and delicious and the atmosphere wonderful.

22/05/2026: Clorofila was one of our favorite meals in Bologna. The eggplant parmesan was easily the best we had during our entire two-week trip through Italy — rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Service was friendly and prompt, and the restaurant itself was clean, cozy, and welcoming. We were tempted by the fish dishes, but Anthony Bourdain’s “never order swordfish in a restaurant” advice stuck with me, and being from the Pacific Northwest, I figured the salmon had tough competition anyway. Absolutely recommend this place if you’re in Bologna.

06/05/2026: We had lunch with friends and all ate daily specials prepared with locally sourced ingredients. Everything was homemade, including the cheeses and cured meats. The first courses were excellent and top-quality. The dessert was also fantastic, with mascarpone for the tiramisu made to order. Highly recommended.
26/03/2026: We stopped one night while hiking the BoM Art Trail. There's not much to add to the already many positive reviews: a warm welcome, and excellent food (both dinner and the super-abundant breakfast).
