02/06/2026: Fantastic view, very convenient having games for children, but unfortunately, the food and service were lacking. We waited over an hour to receive our order (with 4 hungry children at the table...) without even being brought bread or anything else in the meantime, and despite having made a reservation... One dish arrived at a time, 20 minutes apart... Generous portions, but the instant polenta (which we waited an hour and a half for...) was completely raw, grilled vegetables, and the sausage was also raw (different from the one we'd seen on the table of the customers before us...). They're not organized for the number of people they accept! My advice is to grab a sandwich from home and stop by for a coffee in the afternoon when it empties out.

If you're going to splash out on one meal in Sicily make it here and let Maurizio & team do their (beautiful) thing! So. Much. Amazing. Flavour.

03/06/2026: If you're looking for a picture-perfect experience in Ortigia—outdoor seating, crowds, background noise—this isn't for you. If you want to stay in the historic center but still sit, breathe, and talk in a normal voice, you're in the right place. Traditional Sicilian cuisine, but with a bold twist: nothing predictable on the plate, yet nothing out of place. The food is excellent, without frills and without disappointment.

The lemon tartlets, strawberry tartlets, and every other pastry I tasted were equally delicious, full of authentic Italian flavor and made with great care. I enjoyed this bakery so much that I kept coming back to try something new, and every single pastry exceeded my expectations. 04/12/2025: When we travel the Brenner Pass, we pass through it whenever possible. Just minutes from the Bressanone exit. Rustic beauty, both inside and out. Everything we've tried ranges from very good to excellent. A must-try, when available, is the chestnut soup: it's a magical potion that transports you back in time (in fact, it's much richer and tastier today than it was 190 years ago). My only regret: I've never found mushrooms.

02/12/2025: An absolutely positive experience. We started with a platter: the menu says it's for one person, but it was really generous, so two of us ate easily. Then I finally got to try the famous dumplings with sauerkraut (I highly recommend the spinach ones). I finished with soup, but given the amount of food on the platter, I could have done without it. Very friendly staff. Recommendation

06/05/2026: The service was a complete disaster. Waiting nearly an hour just to get water is unacceptable by any standard. I eventually had to go to the bartender myself and explain that I needed to take medication—only then did they respond immediately. Meanwhile, there were plenty of waiters constantly running around, but nothing was actually being delivered. It felt like pure chaos and a “fake rush” rather than real service. To make matters worse, the food is not nearly good enough to justify this kind of wait. Absolutely not worth the time, the frustration, or the money.

15/05/2026: We spent a week in Gardola and ended up staying here from day one. Whether picking up food or eating in, the staff was incredibly friendly. Italian, German, and English were all spoken without any problems. And the food: absolutely fantastic! Pizza, pasta, drinks, salads – everything was delicious! Thank you for a wonderful time.

28/05/2026: I've been to this restaurant twice, and both times, it was a positive experience. For dinner, I was with a group of six, and we tasted a riot of incredibly fresh raw fish, flawless and beautifully paired with both cooked and raw vegetables, which were also well-prepared. The rest of the meal consisted of rich, balanced, and thoroughly enjoyable first courses. For lunch, I went alone during a work break. The owner greeted me with his usual friendliness, but with a more welcoming tone. He selected a nice table for me and dedicated himself to suggesting a light and tasty menu consisting of an appetizer of green beans, red date tomatoes, basil, and steamed and shelled prawns; delicious. For the main course, he served me a slice of amberjack, simply cooked in a light sauce of Pachino tomatoes and Gaeta olives; truly top-notch in its simplicity, thanks to the freshness of the fish, the cooking time, and the balance of flavors. Ultimately, Ghiaccio is a restaurant with a beautiful and elegant atmosphere, without being stuffy; the large windows offer a pleasant sense of openness to the outdoors, and the immense wine cabinets accommodate tastings for a variety of palates and budgets. The owner is always present, friendly with a touch of warmth, attentive to the staff... and that always makes the difference. Finally, the staff: kind, attentive, moderately professional, but ultimately attentive... in true Roman metropolitan style.

20/05/2026: A fine dining experience at its best at Ghiaccio. From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome, with warm and attentive service throughout the evening. The food was truly magnificent—beautifully presented, thoughtfully prepared, and full of flavor. Every dish felt carefully crafted and memorable. Just an overall “wow” experience from start to finish. Easily one of the most impressive dining experiences.

10/05/2026: Small Japanese restaurant downtown. Not sushi and sashimi, but more authentic. There's a set menu and a daily menu. Many rice dishes, a ramen (soba), and vegetarian options. Everything is very good. The tables, chairs, and the seating next to the entrance need some rethinking. A full menu for €20, not including wine, is not to be missed. I highly recommend it.

01/05/2026: It's a nice restaurant. The place was clean and tidy. The food was fresh and tasty. Our favorite dishes are the meatballs and the eel rice. It consoles us for our longing for Yoshinoya, thank you! The condiments were authentic and delicious. We really enjoyed our lunch. Recommended 👍🏻

15/05/2026: The best pizza I've ever had in Italy, and the pasta too!!! Pizza rustica and pasta tortello ripieno!!!! Delicious!!! I wholeheartedly recommend it! You have to make a reservation, but we managed without it🥰❤️🤩🤩

10/03/2026: My husband and I discovered this pizzeria almost by accident. It's located in a somewhat hidden spot, but the atmosphere is already beautiful, welcoming and intimate. The pizza is among the best in the area, the dough is excellent, and the menu selection is extensive and unique. The staff is extremely kind, friendly, and helpful. The prices are truly excellent for the quality of the products you get. We've also taken advantage of the home delivery service, and the service has always been top-notch, always punctual and precise. What can I say? It's now my husband and I's favorite pizzeria. Highly recommended.
