17/03/2024: Io e il mio compagno abbiamo provato lo “Zigauner”, buono! Ma 25€ (con patate e gorgonzola). Sono curiosa di provare i primi, in effetti sembravano molto più appetitosi e giusti a livello qualità/prezzo, torneremo sicuramente!

06/03/2024: Dear place, I had a cappuccino that had to be eaten with a spoon because it was only foam like they make it in Germany and a cinnamon brioche so full of liquid sugar that half of it fell on the table, which is why they gave me the fork. With every bite of this very sweet liquid I thought about the money I would have to give to my dentist, while I was eating there was the barmaid sweeping with the broom and dustpan, I had to tell her to stop. Not even in the worst bars in Caracas. Price 4.70.

27/02/2024: The place is very well looked after in every aspect, from the furnishings to the lighting. My partner and I had dinner here a few days ago, attracted by the atmosphere that could be perceived from outside. “Manola Shake” did not disappoint expectations: we ordered two burgers which turned out to be among the best we have ever tasted (the fries were equally excellent). Last but not least, I would like to point out the warm and friendly welcome from the owner. We will definitely return and recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a happy evening.

03/01/2024: Been here a few times and the last time we went, will be the last time we went. Place wasn't busy, my pizza was soup, literally. I won't bother going on about service. They did finally realize pizza shouldn't be eaten with a spoon and took it off the bill, tried to offer a new one but we politely declined.

06/04/2024: We called to get information and the response was "we make the canals pale" Unfortunately that's not really the case... Equal kindness, pleasant environment but "apericena" involves something different. There is a buffet with quality 10 cold cuts!!! For the rest, a few pieces of pizza rated 6 and a focaccia rated 8. For the rest nothing; aperitifs: the only real cocktail rated 4.5. In conclusion, if you want to drink something simple in a nice place with friendly staff and have some perfect appetizers; if you are expecting an aperitif I say go elsewhere.

06/04/2024: The food was ok. Pasta was a little underdone. Waitress was realty friendly and helpful. Initial host was a little unfriendly. Seems like they are getting more tourist traffic but maybe a little annoyed with the tourists themselves? Love the Spanish quarter area though, very authentic.

05/04/2024: Value for money taverna, Italian traditional recipes but basic choices … no gourmet. Pizza fritta, caprese salad, fried squid/ prawns and traditional pasta with provolone + potatoes!! Pizza standard taste but ok if you like to be on budget!

01/10/2023: Had an enjoyable visit here as part of an excursion to Sorrento. We had a cheese making demonstration, an explanation on how olive oil is made, and an amazing snack ( more of a lunch really given how generous the serving was). We also sampled their Lemoncello and visited the lovely shop.

28/09/2023: Just enjoyed a visit here during a tour and what a wonderful stop it was! Friendly tour guide, amazing food and a beautiful shop. Wish I had more room in the luggage to buy more.

10/02/2024: Good toasts, but high and unjustified prices, compared to the type and quantity of food offered... with that price, I'm going to eat a good Neapolitan margherita pizza, which will certainly fill me up!!!

13/11/2023: Locale carino, antipasti buoni ma primo cavatelli ai frutti di mare pessimo (sapeva solo di pepe), secondo frittura di pesce buona ma quantità ridicole (5 anelli e 2 gamberetti)

22/02/2024: Per i miei 50 anni ho ordinato il buffet completo di ogni squisitezza al "me gusta"... Che dire ... Professionali e roba da mangiare oltre che buona ,tutta fresca ... Personale e titolari sempre cordiali e prezzi onesti... Consigliatissimo.

16/03/2024: Fermarsi a pranzo è piacevole e inoltre si possono utilizzare i buoni pasto ! Dopo un giro al mercato, fermarsi a gustare una piada è un' idea geniale! Ci si può accomodare stile bancone del bar, simpatica location e ancora più simpatiche le ragazze che servono i clienti con disinvoltura!
