02/05/2025: BAD, very bad! We went for lunch on a day when there weren't many people; in fact, there were only a few tables occupied. Despite this, I was served a first course and only an appetizer (Goma Wakame) within 5 minutes of ordering, but then both I and my tablemates were served half an hour later, maybe even longer! It's unacceptable. All this for simple appetizers (I got the stuffed ravioli after half an hour, but for the following courses I had to wait another 10 minutes!). After the appetizers, we received some nigiri that to call COLD would be an understatement (in fact, they looked like they had just come out of the freezer). They were inedible. The rest was adequate/fair, some good. It's not the Shabu I remembered, unfortunately. Until a year ago, it was, in my opinion, the best AYCE in Varese, but after the latest experience, I had to change my mind. Terrible service and adequate quality (maybe not even that). €25 wasted. I hope it was a random disservice, but that was our experience. I'm ready to change my mind and leave a new, better review, but we definitely won't be returning anytime soon.

13/04/2025: This Japanese restaurant is one of my favorite places. The food is always excellent: authentic dishes, meticulously prepared with quality ingredients. The space is cozy, small but very comfortable, with an intimate atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. The staff is super friendly, welcoming, and attentive, always with a smile. My favorite dish? Udon noodles, without a doubt—warm, filling, and perfectly flavorful. A true treat. It's the kind of place you'll want to return to, because you know it will never disappoint.

25/06/2026: 4 of us for dinner. Not busy at all. First complaint was no menus, just using a QR code on the phone. Isn’t the pandemic over? It is so much nicer to be able to hold a menu and not scroll. Easy fix. We had three pizzas and a salad. All were good. It was difficult from the menu to figure out the difference between margarita and marinara and no fault of theirs but English was sparse. The pizzas were good. The service was lacking. The table would be cleared but only partially. After waiting to pay the check we were finally told we had to pay in the front. Why? They have hand held machines. Good pizza less than ordinary experience.

07/06/2026: We went here three times during our stay in Naples. We tried a variety of dishes, from pizza to seafood. Always fresh, delicious, and affordable. The staff patiently explained the ingredients of each dish. We highly recommend it!

06/06/2026: Excellent service, fantastic staff... it's just a shame that this evening the air conditioning was off and it was almost 30°C inside.

19/05/2026: Last Sunday we had lunch at this restaurant, where we'd already been a couple of times for Roman pinsa. I have to say the service left a lot to be desired. We arrived at 12:50, and the menus were brought about twenty minutes later, the first course 40 minutes later, and the second course after a break of over 15 minutes. There was only one waiter and the owner serving all the tables, who were also struggling with the bar service. Although they were very kind, I don't think it's possible to run a restaurant like this. We didn't have to wait for a table, as we had booked.

11/04/2026: A nice discovery for work, excellent food, the lady who runs it is a force of nature, highly recommended, super prices.

14/05/2026: Beware of scams!!! Menu prices don't match when paying! Cappuccino for 5 euros?? Some kind of mistake!!

13/05/2026: They say they have Wi-Fi, but it's very bad.

18/03/2026: A good place for a short break from driving for tea or another drink. The food is poor, everything is prepared days in advance and reheated.

08/03/2026: A pub on the slopes. Nothing to complain about. Relatively quick service during the ski season :)

25/05/2026: A beautiful agriturismo surrounded by greenery. The farmhouse is well-maintained, the garden is large, and there are games for children. Late afternoons and evenings are particularly charming. They offer a fixed-price menu with appetizers, two first courses, two second courses, and side dishes, dessert, coffee, water, and wine (both white and red) for €38. Upon request, and during the summer months, they also offer aperitifs.

23/03/2026: Fantastic, I'll be back. The food is delicious, the kebab is really big and full of ingredients, and the service is excellent, they're very kind, I would recommend it to everyone ❤️

23/03/2026: Istanbul kebab. Very good and the staff were very kind! They even came to our table to ask how everything was, very, very friendly. The only thing I would change is the amount of ingredients in the piadina. I think they should be a little more generous, but obviously that's subjective. Overall, I highly recommend it. Probably the best kebab place in Cisterna.

12/04/2026: Highly recommended! 10/10 The waiter was extremely kind, attentive, and professional, exactly the kind of service that makes a real difference and keeps you coming back. The food was outstanding, freshly prepared and perfectly seasoned, but I have to especially highlight the noodles – without a doubt the best I’ve ever had! The flavor, texture, and combination of ingredients were simply perfect. If you’re looking for a place with top-notch service and amazing food – this is it. I will definitely be coming back!

08/04/2026: There's no tablet to order, just a pen and paper. There are a few options to choose from for the various sushi dishes, but I can assure you that the quality of the products is truly high. Just a few things, the most important ones, but delicious. We had lunch on Easter Monday for €17.90 per person... a truly exceptional price for the quality of the product. Highly recommended for those who, after so much good Tuscan food, want to unwind with some excellent sushi.

25/05/2026: We had a wonderful Saturday night at this restaurant. They treated us to a lovely dinner even though it was packed. The service was impeccable, and the burger was really good! Thanks guys!

13/10/2025: We booked for a birthday party, and everything was perfect and taken care of as agreed. The staff was attentive and friendly, the food was tasty, and the portions generous. This is an important point to commend: each guest was able to be catered to according to their specific needs. The outdoor space and rides made it easier for the children to manage their time. 31/05/2026: I dined at this restaurant with positive expectations and believe it has potential, but there are some aspects that deserve attention. The general feeling is that the staff is insufficient for the number of customers present: this translates into very long wait times and inconsistent response to requests. The staff, while helpful and courteous, often seem to struggle to provide service with the necessary speed. The cuisine also seemed inconsistent. Some dishes were well-crafted, tasty, and meticulously prepared, while others fell significantly short of expectations in terms of quality, preparation, or balance of flavors. Improved service organization and greater consistency in the food offerings could make the overall experience much more satisfying.

04/01/2026: Saturday, January 3, 2026, from 6:45 PM to 7:15 PM, I tried unsuccessfully to call to order three takeout pizzas. I decided to go in person, arriving around 7:40 PM (after a pointless argument about parking with another crafty and rude customer). I was greeted coldly, waited 10 minutes, and finally was asked if I needed to order. The answer was obvious, and I was told it wasn't possible before 10:00 PM... 7:40 PM??? 😒. Thoughts... it's better this way. The place is dirty, the walls are completely black from the soot from the oven, pizzas are seen coming out of the oven, flat, dry, and burnt, with no trace of leavened dough. The kitchen staff has long, loose hair and no hats, and the pizza chef and oven staff are the same. The oven only has room for four pizzas. Of course you said it was for 10:00 PM, even though it was 7:40 PM. Even assuming you have reservations, you always accommodate customers who show up at the pizzeria, even in first-come, first-served order, for goodness sake. Change jobs... 😒 I'm leaving with the suspicion that having pointed out to the customer earlier that he was being sneaky about the parking wasn't appreciated by the pizza chef (maybe friends). Anyway, at 8:25 PM, takeout pizzas were served properly at the Metropolitan pizzeria, the best in Guspini... Pizzeria da Mariano is to be avoided... despicable.
