18/07/2025: I had dinner with some friends. They ordered pizza, and I wanted fregola. Even though it was for two and none of my friends wanted to share, they did their best to bring it to me anyway. I wasn't expecting it, and I fully understand the difficulty and effort it takes. They accommodated me anyway, very kindly. Completely satisfied with everything.

29/07/2025: Siamo stati in questo ristorante a cena con tutta la famiglia. È stata una meravigliosa scoperta. I camerieri gentilissimi e simpatici ci hanno accolti con limonata fresca. Dopo un gustoso amuse bouche, abbiamo gustato diversi piatti a base di pesce tutti abbondanti e ricercati. Ci ha sorpreso la quantità di pesce fresco presente in tutte le portate. Dall' antipasto al dolce è stata un' esperienza culinaria memorabile.

25/07/2025: Ieri, io e mia moglie, siamo andati a cenare, in codesto rinomato ristorante. Abbiamo ordinato due fritture Senza spine, 19,00 euro cadauno due contorni, uno di patate e l'altro misto di broccoli carciofi carote ecc. Un'acqua minerale naturale e un calice di vino rosato. Le fritture 19,00 euro cadauno, nella norma, senza infamia e Senza lode, il vino non particolare 7,00 un calice, acqua panna 3,00. Coperto 6,00. I contorni, rifiutati in quanto non mangiabili, pertanto la signora alla cassa , ha avuto l'onestà di non conteggiarli. Costo finale 54,00. Delusione, in base alle recensioni, ci saremmo aspettati altro. Peccato,forse era una serata storta, oppure ognuno ha il proprio livello.

15/06/2025: in a group of 40 people eating in the sun on a torrid day protected by a net usually used in vegetable gardens. You can't eat inside because the room isn't air conditioned. The owner told us: "if you buy me the air conditioners! The truffle of the tagliolini is odorless and tasteless with flakes that seemed like plastic. A very thin slice of braised meat, hard and nervous. Almost non-existent vegetables. Hot wine. Some of the rude staff (the waiter) starts arguing with a diner. The only positive note is the water. A bit little. An experience not to be repeated at all. Now I understand why we were the only customers that Saturday!

15/06/2025: Purtroppo il cambio gestione a mio avviso non sta dando i suoi frutti,speriamo cambino direzione,poco cibo e prezzi sempre piú alti. Ho sempre frequentato questo locale e anche quello predente di questa gestione. Il cibo tuttavia è in linea con l'offerta turistica odierna (ahimè ) Comunque non si può servire una birra piccola in un mega calice dove il livello liquido è meno di un dito , un sorso tutto finito, ricordiamoci che c'è gente che lavora tutto l'anno e fa sacrifici per una sera al ristorante Buona stagione

My server seemed surprised that at the peak of tourist season in Sicily that his customers do not all speak Italian, and impatiently grunted and gesticulated at me when I did not understand him. Ice cream was low quality and overly sweet, lacking depth of flavour. Would not recommend

05/06/2025: I had come to Italy to help my cousin fix up the house he bought and just about every night I would come down here, the beer was good, everything on the menu I got to try was amazing, Roberto and the rest of his staff were amazing and I considered most of them friends by a month. I remember the last time we went just before his passing he had made us coffee liquor shots and we all had one last drink together. I loved everyone and this place so much, rest in peace Roberto. You had a great business and were an even better man.

20/08/2025: We went here for lunch, choosing the all-you-can-eat option. Everything was fine at first, with good food and fairly prompt service. After about half an hour, however, we began to wait a long time, and a waitress came and yelled at us in the middle of the room, insinuating that we'd ordered TOO MUCH, saying we couldn't eat it and that it had been donated to other tables to prevent it from being thrown away. After she left, less than 10 minutes later, we were brought part of what we'd ordered, which we ate. Finally, the waitress came back to yell at us, but this time not because we'd ordered too much, but because we'd ordered everything at once (we'd placed two orders, and the dishes from the first order hadn't been brought, so they'd been piled up with those from the second). l The lady brought us the last remaining dishes, insinuating that others had been ordered (which was obviously untrue, as verified by the app's history). However, we hadn't ordered one of these dishes, and the others had been prepared in a rush and poorly. I've attached photos of the initial dishes. In conclusion, after this service, I think we won't be returning to this restaurant, especially given the rude manners shown to us customers (by the supposed owner). The location is very nice, but it's a shame about the final dishes, otherwise, the food is good overall.

16/08/2025: Literally the best all-you-can-eat and à la carte sushi restaurant in Grottaglie. I've tried them all, but none come close to this level. After the change in management, the place—the people, the atmosphere, and the food—has literally changed for the better. The place was enchanting, the staff were friendly and quick, and ready to help. The food arrived quickly, and everything was fresh and delicious. Truly a perfect experience. I have no complaints, and I highly recommend it.

15/09/2025: The place (especially the outdoor seating) is beautiful. It's a shame the food is really low quality. The eggs were terribly cooked and tasteless. The pain au chocolat was very average, as was the cappuccino. One of the worst breakfasts I've ever had 😭

14/09/2025: Very good food, from Senegalese specialties (very spicy) to typical Italian fare (spaghetti and lasagna). Very fresh and delicate Senegalese cocktails. Friendly and attentive service!
