13/04/2025: I was in Ferrara for the weekend with my boyfriend and, after dinner, I wanted a crêpe... luckily we found La Crêperie di Sara! The crêpe was really delicious and Sara was super kind and helpful. If you are from Ferrara or are visiting this beautiful city, I highly recommend it!

They told us, they gave us other plates than the menu and we have to pay what they want. They were super annoyed and rude and we were quite disappointed for the very bad experience.

Seguiti da una Signora gentilissima (credo sia la proprietaria o comunque una responsabile), ci ha trattato come se fossimo clienti abituali. Cibo fantastico, non c'è stato nulla che non ci sia piaciuto, anche molto attenti ai bambini, ogni richiesta veniva esaudita con un sorriso. Se passeremo da quelle zone torneremo sicuramente. Anzi, ce lo siamo promesso!!!!!

13/06/2025: I don‘t understand the good reviews this restaurant has. We went here because we were limited with the food choices in Scilla, due to my friend being gluten intolerant. The staff said we could order anything and they would accommodate us which was great. The staff was also very attentive (granted, we were the only people in the restaurant at 19:30 - which should have been a first warning for us). The food was unseasoned and very disappointing! My friend had the pistachio pesto with prawns that weren‘t cooked. Raw, still cold frozen prawns on pasta - it‘s disgusting! I ordered a calamari/prawn plate with chips and a side salad. The chips and fish weren‘t flavourful and 14€ was a bit much for that, but hey, I added some vinegar and pepper and it was edible. The slap in the face was the side salad: the yellow part of an ice berg salad on a plate - no dressing, no tomatoes, no olives or herbs, nothing! Just some cut up ice berg leaves (and not even the big green juicy leaves) for 4€!! Are you actually kidding me!? I laughed out loud when I saw that. Never have I had bad food served for the price in an establishment that otherwise makes a decent impression.
