05/10/2025: Magnificent pizza, I truly believe one of the best in Palermo. We always order delivery and they're super punctual, and the pizza, as always, is amazing: soft, full of toppings, and easy to digest. Well done!

25/09/2025: I'm giving three stars only for the kindness and deliciousness of the dishes. If these hadn't been there, I would have given one star. The place was empty and scorching hot. We asked if the air conditioning could be turned on, since all four of us, plus three children, were dying of heat. The owner said, "I won't turn it on or I'll freeze," and proceeded to open the windows. Despite this, it was scorching hot, and despite our repeated complaints about the heat and our fidgeting with our hands and other objects to cool us down, the owner didn't bother turning it on. Shame!!

01/11/2025: We returned after three years with great enthusiasm, but as soon as they served us dinner, the excitement faded. The food was of very low quality and served cold. We even had a hard time taking the kids to the bathroom: disgusting!!! A disappointment!

26/10/2025: I returned today for lunch with friends after many years. The management has changed since then, but the quality and deliciousness of the offerings remain excellent. The location is breathtaking, with its medieval walls and views of the castle walls. The staff is professional and very friendly. The prices are in line with the quality offered. The entrance on the upper floor leads to a small room accessible without having to climb the numerous stairs throughout the restaurant, which is spread over several levels. It is therefore accessible even for those with limited mobility. In good weather, you can eat in the beautiful outdoor space, also perfect for events.

29/04/2025: We got some takeaway pizzas and chips from this pizzeria. The quality of the pizza is really high and I add it is one of my favorites in the area. All at a very affordable price. The only note is the ordering of take-away pizzas which cannot be pre-ordered by telephone to find them ready upon arrival, but you have to go to the pizzeria, order and wait for preparation. I would only improve this last aspect. For the rest it is perfect!

04/12/2025: Dinner for two. Very good and well-prepared cod, but the portions were a bit too gourmet. The wine tasted like a supermarket bottle with a surcharge. Positive note: the owner/manager was really friendly. Good flavors, good value.

17/11/2025: Absolutely the worst experience of my life, I don't know how it was possible. We were looking for a place to have dinner in Salerno, and we stopped at this place where another couple was staying. We ordered a Zizzinella appetizer, a slow-cooked cod with garlic, oil, and chili pepper, a sparkling water, and a beer. After ordering, we noticed the waitress go out into the street and come back with a bottle of beer bought at the 24h next door. Well, we think they're out of beer, it happens. After a forty-minute wait, the two dishes finally arrived. The cod was completely raw, the arancini tasteless, and the rice was plain with a bit of burnt eggplant parmigiana cheese, and the anchovies in vinegar on a completely watered-down fresella. An experience not to be repeated.

30/11/2025: They are very friendly, I always have a great time, the food is good, the only thing is that when there are a lot of people it takes a while to serve, but I think that's logical, excellent. I recommend the restaurant.

31/10/2025: The pizza is truly excellent, both in terms of cooking and the freshness of the ingredients. The staff is friendly and attentive. The place is always very busy, so reservations are recommended. The decor is classic/traditional.

15/10/2025: Unfortunately we had a really bad experience at Trattoria da Me from start to finish. When we arrived for our reservation at 9:30 there was a line of people waiting to be seated. There is only one person at the door to take payments and seat reservations which makes it a long wait time and very crowded in the entry just to be seated. After we finally sat down we ordered and the waiter kept interrupting as we tried to order and suggesting things we didn’t want. Once we ordered and the first plates came they were ok. Then we waited a long time for the second course. We ordered the cod fillet, which was extremely undercooked that you couldn’t even cut it. We asked for them to take it back to cook further, which they said ok and they will make us a new one that would take 10 minutes. 40 minutes later after asking they bought out the new plates that were exactly the same. Chewy and undercooked. They told us they slow cook it in a water bath but that was not made clear by the menu description that said ‘slow cooked cod’. It was not a pleasant dish to eat, we tried a bit and told them that we’re not able to eat it. I am pescatarian and have worked in restaurants with water baths and have never seen a piece of fish served like this. It was very disappointing after waiting so long. When we sent it back the second time the waitress told us we would not be charged and for the fish and asked if we would like some limoncello, which I accepted. Then we went to pay the bill and the cod was still there so when I asked the cashier she told me yes because we are charging you for only 2 instead of 4, and we also gave you the wine and liquor free. They offered me the limoncello and then are telling me they are not including it in the bill. Oh yes and also while we were eating there is a hidden door behind my friends chair, which the waitress made her move so she could go in and out scratching her jacket with the door. I never write bad reviews but I honestly can’t believe I just paid for that. One of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had.

19/10/2025: I absolutely recommend it: a pastry shop with truly excellent products. I haven't had a chance to try their desserts yet, but based on their breakfasts (i.e., croissants and erbazzone), I imagine they'll be very good. They have various types of pastries for breakfast (I've tried at least 2 or 3 and was satisfied). You can tell they're made in-house: the dough is soft and crumbly, the quality of the ingredients is excellent, and they fill the pastry however you like (for me, the best is the pistachio cream, but I've also tried the gianduja and it wasn't bad). It's a shame it's such a small place; there's a long line, so stopping there isn't the best option. There are a couple of tables outside, but nothing special.

03/10/2025: A small, slightly hidden pastry shop near the hospital. There's a few parking spaces in front, but there are paid parking spots on the street. They have some seating outside, but inside you're standing. Quality sweets (I recommend the Veneziana filled with gianduia cream) at reasonable prices. They also have various savory options and their own products for sale. Professional staff.
