A beautiful renovation, even more beautiful in person!
We already knew the place and had followed some updates on the work on social media, so I had already seen a few sneak peeks. I must say, however, that seeing the results in person is something else entirely!
We were there last night as a family, three adults and two children aged 3 and 7, and we had a truly wonderful evening.
The venue has recently been renovated and several improvements have been made. A new area has been created with bioclimatic pergolas with adjustable slats, allowing the space to be left open during the summer and protected during the colder months. A truly convenient, modern, and well-thought-out solution.
The blue LEDs are also very beautiful, perfectly matching the blue edges of the soccer fields, creating a truly unique and modern effect at night.
The two soccer fields have also received a nice makeover, with the turf replaced. Personally, I find the new blue courtside very beautiful, which, along with the lighting, adds a truly unique touch to the entire facility.
The owner also told us that the renovations aren't finished yet and that more details and touches will be added soon. So, there's still some exciting news to look forward to!
For dinner, we had a mixed hot appetizer selection typical of Palermo, with truly delicious panelle and croquettes, followed by pizza. Everything was delicious, and the service was prompt. The waiters were friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable.
Another plus is the ample parking, which is especially convenient for families.
We also saw the new dance school built in the basement, accessible via a slide: another nice addition that makes the place even more complete.
But what I think makes this place truly special is the attention paid to families and children. ❤️
When the two soccer fields aren't booked, or between games, the owners allow children to come in and play ball. For those with children, it's fantastic: while the adults eat peacefully, the kids can run around, play, and let off steam instead of sitting at the table all evening.
And I also love the idea of being able to organize a game with the whole family while the others can eat and enjoy the evening. It's something you don't find easily and makes the place particularly family-friendly.
In short, we already knew this place, but with these new renovations, it's really taken a leap forward.
The food is good, the service is fast, there's plenty of space, ample parking, and above all, there's the opportunity to keep the kids entertained when the fields are available.
Well done, keep up the good work! We'll definitely be back to see all the upcoming innovations. 👏🍕⚽

Finally, a pizza you can call PIZZA! Soft, well-leavened Neapolitan dough, quality ingredients, and perfectly cooked. The Bologna and Canazzo pizzas were delicious. Fast, friendly service in a very basic location (a sports center), which is, however, eclipsed by the truly delicious pizza! Highly recommended. Booking in advance is recommended, given the large turnout.

If you know, you know. This is that kind of place. A small pizzeria, nothing fancy, but with the soccer pitches outside that are rented out. That's great fun, and unique. Also, the pizza's are made so fast, it made me suspect the chef was off side...
Very friendly people, very delicious pizza, plenty of choice and very affordable. We went here on our first night on Sicily, when it was recommended by our B&B host and only took a five minute walk. But we also are here on our last night on Sicily, when we drove 30 minutes to and from extra to eat here to close the Sicilian circle. That's why for us, this pizzeria will always have a special place in our hearts.
