19/05/2026: The hidden gem! This place is amazing. My food was excellent, crispy bread with liver and truffles as a starter was outstanding, Michelin star level. Pasta plate was very good, but not exceptional (that may be determined by my choice) and desert tiramisu was great. Good espresso closed the deal. Service was great.

18/05/2026: Cortona Bistrot is undoubtedly one of those places that surprises and delights. Everything we tried was delicious, but I must give a special and obligatory mention to their egg dish with pecorino and truffle. It's served by the owner, with his wife in the kitchen, and the service is exceptionally friendly.

08/06/2026: I came here yesterday with my brother-in-law (I live in Rome) for some takeout pizza. The place is really beautiful, in my opinion, elegant and welcoming. Next time I come back, I'll try the local dishes too. The pizzas are delicious, just the way I like them. I had a very simple Margherita, and it was delicious. The owner was really kind and nice, entertaining us while we waited for our pizzas. I can't wait to go back.

05/06/2026: We went for dinner and the welcome was fantastic; it really felt like we'd known each other forever. A warm and authentic atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. We started with the suckling pig, which was simply heaven on earth, then the meatballs, incredibly flavorful and made just like in the old days, and finally, the cremino sauce was a heavenly finale. I travel every day for work and am fortunate enough to savor dishes from every Italian restaurant, but for us, La Toscanissima today was a true journey into the flavors of yesteryear—the authentic, intense, and unforgettable ones.

A family-run restaurant where tradition meets gastronomic research with rare grace. The cuisine is exquisite and of the highest quality: each dish is a perfect balance of authentic flavors and gourmet presentation, meticulously crafted like a work of art. Hygiene and cleanliness are impeccable, and you can immediately sense the care and respect for guests in every corner. But what truly makes this place unique is the atmosphere. Signora Maria, the hostess, welcomes you with a courtesy and empathy that make you feel immediately at home, as if you were part of the family. Her sons, top-notch chefs, bring to the table creations that go beyond the "good": they are sensory experiences, sophisticated, and refined, without ever losing their connection to the Campania region. A memorable lunch, shared with my daughter and husband, that we will remember fondly. Casa Pappalardo is more than just a restaurant: it's hospitality, passion, and a love for good food. 21/05/2026: That evening, we went to a restaurant called Osteria Metti, which I found through Google Maps based on its rating, about 20 minutes from the hotel, to celebrate my birthday. We arrived without a reservation and were luckier than we deserved — there was only one table left in the restaurant. The atmosphere was magical, the view was beautiful, the service was outstanding, and the food was wow. For our starter, we had truffle pasta, possibly the best we have ever eaten. For the main course, we had an entrecôte steak, 500 grams, and beef fillet. Everything was delicious and perfectly prepared. We drank an Aperol Spritz and a glass of red wine. The bill came to €110, which was fair by any standard.
