A great find!! From appetizer to dessert, everything was perfect. The originality of the dishes doesn't sacrifice balance and flavor. We'll be back.

Friendly and helpful staff. I ordered an appetizer: macco with fava beans, chicory, and pecorino cheese. The chicory was good, but the macco wasn't very creamy. I wasn't in the mood for a first course, so I ordered a portion of fries. I didn't finish them; they were very salty. Then I ordered a supplì, which was good, average. For wine, I ordered a glass of Cesanese, which was disappointing.

Very honest place, not your typical Italian food, they don't speak English but they are very nice, great food. If you want something local, try it after the tourist traps.

I unexpectedly got a bonus (the website’s shown in the photo), so I thought — why not have a nice dinner? The pasta was great: creamy, rich, with just the right mix of cheese and bacon.

We come often and always have great food. The staff is very friendly and helpful. There's a wide selection of dishes. There's both indoor and outdoor seating. Highly recommended!

Friendly and helpful staff. Very good value for money. The kids enjoyed the delicious fettuccine with ragù and the meatballs, kindly offered on the house. Recommended! We'll definitely be back!

20/04/2026: A great place to enjoy your morning coffee and a sweet treat. Delicious coffee and a great atmosphere. If you're in the area, be sure to stop by; you won't regret it. Prices are lower than in Poland.
25/03/2026: CASTRONI has several stores in Rome. All are worth a visit (plural, one isn't enough) for the vast array of food products: coffee, spices, chocolate, various sweets, wines and spirits, various oils and sauces, various teas and infusions, biscuits, etc. etc. etc...and not just Italian ones. The Castroni in question, on Via di Boccea, also has an in-house bar that's very well-known in the area. Recommended.

13/05/2026: My husband & I ate here twice for dinner while staying in Rome. I truly loved this restaurant! The pesto orecchiette is amazing, and we both really enjoyed their meatballs as well. The wine is delicious and their complimentary bread is delightful too. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the service was fast.
