23/02/2024: Ci siamo fermati per un aperitivo ed il locale ci è piaciuto,servizio veloce aperitivo buono con accompagnamento di stuzzichini.Prezzo onesto,sicuramente consigliato.

19/12/2024: Hotel Astoria is extremely convenient for the lifts, ski hire and town. We’ve never been to Cervinia before but we were impressed with the skiing area for 3 days even without going to Zermatt. The hotel looks like it has recently been refurbished downstairs - very cosy bar area and restaurant. The food is excellent and great value. The breakfast was particularly good. Huge amount of hot and cold choices. The evening meals were very good too. All the staff were very friendly and efficient. Elide answered all my questions before we arrived. The bedrooms are a little dated but are comfortable and warm. We used the sauna. Sadly the hot tub wasn’t operational at this time. Overall a fantastic experience.

08/12/2025: It was a pleasant surprise. It feels like stepping back in time to the early 1980s. I'd describe it as very cozy and romantic!
Wood and carpeting characterize this place, along with the warm and friendly staff, making it truly special. Exceptional breakfast, and the chef-made pancakes were amazing!
Excellent value for money.
22/08/2025: If you're looking for a family-run hotel, very close to Staffal, with welcoming, clean rooms, attention to detail, and the kindness and helpfulness of Gigi and Susi, the Lysjoch is the right choice.
