23/08/2025: Bad impression. Ordered a cake for 10 people for my son's birthday the next day. Naturally, there was no price limit, just the size, which therefore had to be large. The next day they gave us a cake that not even the Smurfs would have eaten. They insisted that "for them" it was a cake for 10. I'm from Rome and I've always ordered cakes for 10 that are just right. After a heated discussion, I had to settle for another, slightly larger cake that had been in the fridge since the day before. Party ruined. I'm now reading your response, which borders on a complaint for personal insults, and that doesn't mean I won't proceed in that direction. I am a respected professional and a polite person, as can be seen from the documents on various websites that deal with me. But that has nothing to do with it. If a customer complains about what they consider an injustice, you don't respond with arrogance (you do) "for us the cake..." (I repeat, Lilliputian) "is a 10"!!!! . Period. We're trying to figure out what the problem is and politely address it. The cake he replaced wasn't the same size at all, so much so that he had to change the box and get a larger one. As I was leaving your shop, two ladies approached me to confirm their shock at such treatment. Rest assured, I have no intention of ever setting foot in your shop again, even though your refusal would be subject to legal action. A commercial establishment cannot do so. Not only will I never set foot in your shop again, but neither will the many friends in Penna and Giove to whom I told the incident. Good things. It's still causing controversy. What you wrote qualifies you without further comment and shows who the rude and offensive one is. I don't understand how someone like you can work in contact with the public. I hope for your future customers that this unpleasant episode has taught you to be more polite and helpful. And with that, I'll end this controversy. I've said everything I had to say.

28/07/2025: Possibly the best gelato in Italy. Always has fun and interesting flavors to try, like truffle and Aperol spritz. The pastries and coffee are excellent, too!

The only note I can make is on the pistachio flavour: it wasn't bad, but I expected something more, given that it's one of my favourites. Overall, however, more than recommended, I would happily return

16/08/2025: So, we went on August 15th, so I'll give the benefit of the doubt on the quality of the service, which I understand is why it's very busy on holidays, but we waited about 45/50 minutes for 2 pizzas, not exactly amazing to look at but still good, the people in the dining room are friendly.

25/08/2025: A Gem in Guardea: The V-Bar! I had the pleasure of discovering the V-Bar in Guardea and was absolutely won over! It's a truly beautiful place, with attention to detail, where you immediately feel a welcoming and pleasant atmosphere. The quality of their offerings is exceptional. I had the opportunity to try their pizza, and I can say it's delicious, one of the best in the area. Their pastries are equally impressive, with delicious melt-in-the-mouth pastries, perfect to accompany an excellent coffee, intense and black, just the way I like it. You can tell right away that they pay great attention to the quality of their ingredients. But the real added value of this place is the staff. The baristas are incredibly friendly and kind, always smiling and helpful. The service is impeccable: fast, efficient, and courteous, an aspect not to be underestimated and that makes the experience even more enjoyable. In short, V-Bar is a place I recommend to everyone, whether for breakfast, a coffee break, an aperitif, or a pizza with friends. A place that perfectly combines beauty, goodness, and kindness. Don't miss it!

Non-existent customer care, I have been to millions of restaurants and it has never happened that no one lets me taste the bottles of wine and demands that I take them now because I have to, no change of glasses between one bottle and another! Zero customer care, €200 spent between three, for having eaten almost nothing. Not even paper towels in the location. A short mistaken for a bitter, for €5, paying for dinner we ask for another 3 empty shorts that do not exist, practically another €15, rude and annoying girl..bah from when I wanted to go back to never again! I will not comment further

24/06/2025: Came here by chance while traveling, as it is close to the highway - but I'll come back for a vacation for sure after seeing this unique building and the lovely town it is in. People are friendly and laid back, the room is large and has AC, the hotel is clean. Total hidden gem! Highly recommended!!

10/08/2025: A spectacular view of the Basque Country and an open grill create a unique and unforgettable atmosphere. We enjoyed the lamb chops and the truffle steak. Delicious! And the staff is very authentic!

03/08/2025: IF YOU'RE DOING THE CAMINO DEI BORGHI SILENTI (THE SILENT VILLAGES WALK) OR YOU'RE JUST STOPOVER, TRUST ME: GO A COUPLE OF KILOMETERS AND GO ELSEWHERE! Terrible place. My friends and I are doing the Cammino dei Borghi SILENTI (THE SILENT VILLAGES WALK) and thought Baschi was a strategic stop, but trust me: there are definitely better places. Our reservation disappeared, then they seated us at 9 PM AND DELIVERED OUR PIZZAS AT 11 PM!!!! Not to mention the quality of the pizza, which was truly awful (we finished three pizzas because it was 11 PM, but two were left there, as you can see). Furthermore, they also mislabeled them, and one arrived incorrectly. WALKERS OR TOURISTS, TRUST ME: GO ELSEWHERE.

05/08/2025: We stayed from July 31, 2025 to August 4, 2025. What can I say...surrounded by greenery. Silence, courtesy, and expertise. A wonderful experience. Mrs. Emanuela, the owner, is a wonderful and pleasant person with whom to engage in wonderful, highly cultural conversations. Mrs. Michela, who, if she weren't here, would have to be replaced. A delightful person, extremely helpful, and very knowledgeable. The food is refined and healthy. If you want to experience a symphony of flavors...this is the place. 10 out of 10!
