26/02/2026: La Raffineria is one of those places that makes you want to linger. A welcoming, well-maintained atmosphere with a relaxed ambiance that makes time fly by. The cocktails are expertly crafted, but the spritz deserves special mention: balanced, refreshing, and simply fabulous. What's more, the snacks are just as good as the drinks, perfect for sharing while you savor the moment. All this at fair prices, something especially appreciated these days. An ideal spot to start the evening… or let it stretch on.

12/05/2026: Went here not expecting too much just to not be hungry but upon receiving the food it was delicious so delicious that in fact the steak was one of the best that I had, everything was so perfect about it the meat was soft and juicy the arugula was so crispy and fresh and the tomatoes were somehow so sweet and sour at the same time and the sauce made it even better same goes for the boar pasta it was delicious savory warm everything you’d want.

22/04/2026: We were only in Orvieto briefly around 1-2 pm and wanted to grab a bite to eat. The server was friendly and patient. She only spoke Italian, which we didn't, but we managed with the help of a translator. The menu is digital and can be translated into several languages. The food was delicious. We had the tiramisu and a small charcuterie board. The bread was freshly baked and really good, and there was a selection of cold cuts and cheeses.

09/07/2025: Despite its location, the place is quite nice. The staff and food are excellent. The pizza is thin and crispy, light and not greasy at all. The beer selection is limited, but all very good! It's not a picturesque place, but it's definitely recommended if you want a good pizza and more! We'll definitely be back!

09/06/2026: Visited in the morning for coffee and pastries when it was quiet and empty, but I imagine it can get busy and loud at night. Expansive seating area. Dive bar feel. Service was friendly. Nice casual place to stop for a quick bite or drink if you're in the area.

11/07/2026: We found ourselves here for dinner after reading the reviews, and I agree with them all. A quiet place, a family atmosphere, a seafood menu, and generous dishes. The staff is incredibly kind and friendly. They won me over when I was hesitating between the tart and the orange cake for dessert. I chose the tart, and the girl even brought me the orange cake on her own initiative... you feel like you're being embraced... the homemade desserts are truly delicious. Excellent value for money. What can I say... we'll be back when we set foot in Umbria again.

30/10/2025: I'll start by saying that the croissants are unbeatable. It's a shame that the service is often very slow, the courtesy is sometimes lacking, and the prices have gone up in the last two months (a cup of tea is €4, a mini croissant is €1.40, a classic croissant is €2). Generally, breakfast for two people shouldn't cost more than €10.

28/10/2025: Top, truly the best bakery in the area! They have a fantastic selection for breakfast, with croissants and brioches that are truly delicious. The atmosphere is modern yet very welcoming, with both indoor and outdoor seating. They're always open, so next time I'll be back to try their aperitivo.

09/08/2026: Drawn by the enthusiastic report of some acquaintances—who left this trattoria a few weeks ago full and with a bill of around €20 each—we decide to treat ourselves to a Sunday lunch there. When booking by phone, I immediately put my foot down, citing the happy experience of my friends. The owner, with impeccable courtesy, assures me that for €20 she would have treated us exactly the same. An excellent premise, ruined only by a small detail upon our arrival: we were candidly informed that no, a €20 menu has never existed. Acknowledging the management's lack of clarity, we didn't lose heart and ordered two complete menus (from appetizer to main course), fully aware and resigned to spending €40 per person. At that point, a true lesson in gastronomic minimalistism unfolded. What we were served wasn't lunch, but a timid sampling: The appetizer: three slices of cured meat per person (sliced ​​with surgical precision), a symbolic small plate of offal, a single, solitary spoonful of beans and pork rind, and torta al testo. The first course: half a portion of tagliatelle with meat sauce—a quantity that would make even a child tender—accompanied by two solitary spoonfuls of gnocchi. The second course: a microscopically small sausage knot and half a pork shoulder. Not a small portion: literally half a shoulder, with the clean cut clearly visible, demonstrating the rigorous rationing of supplies. The moral of the story: despite the initial misunderstanding being entirely their own doing, and despite us being willing to pay double for a decent lunch, the kitchen saw fit to foist calorie-controlled portions on us to bring the whole thing under 40 euros. A truly memorable piece of creative finance and customer service. A heartfelt piece of advice to future visitors: if you're in the area, keep going and don't look back. An unforgettable experience, but for the wrong reasons. Highly discouraged.
