01/06/2026: Nothing to complain about, but the food was truly awful. I definitely made the wrong choice of dish, but if you suggest it, I'll have it. Just looking at the carbonara makes you say, "What the heck is that?!"... And in fact, it's nothing like the traditional one, and luckily I didn't even eat it all, given the results I had during the night (vomiting and diarrhea). Thank you so much for the product.

31/05/2026: Six of us went for lunch. The restaurant is in a very convenient area of ​​Terni with a large parking lot nearby. There's seating both inside and out. The staff were very friendly and polite. To ensure we didn't miss a thing, we ordered appetizers, first courses, second courses, side dishes, and desserts: the crostata was excellent! The pasta itself was delicious, but unfortunately the sauces were very tasteless and bland. Perhaps it was a coincidence because the restaurant was busy, but I recommend being careful because it's a shame not to season such excellent pasta properly. Another truly exceptional thing: the baked potatoes. Overall, it was a good experience; I think we'll be back.

25/07/2026: A wonderful Sunday lunch experience at Trippini Restaurant in Civitella del Lago. We chose the à la carte menu, and every dish reflected the care and passion for Umbrian cuisine, reinterpreted with a touch of originality without betraying tradition. The view of Lake Corbara from the dining room made lunch even more special, a true added value to the dining experience. The service was attentive and friendly, making guests feel at ease from the first moment to the last. I recommend this restaurant for those seeking an authentic experience, combining excellent cuisine, a warm welcome, and breathtaking views. We'll definitely be back!

03/06/2026: I was in Amelia for 3 days for a conference, and the restaurant was our go-to. We drove them crazy with the crazy dinner times, but everyone was very kind and helpful. We ate WONDERFUL both at the restaurant and at the conference venue, where they provided delicious catering!! Thank you so much!

03/06/2026: The fish is so fresh it smells amazing (very unlikely in a city that isn't a maritime city). It's also very well cooked, especially because they take great care to preserve the authentic flavor of the fish itself, as well as carefully crafting the perfect combinations of sauces and condiments. The chef's creative flair is remarkable. The prices are fair considering the high quality of the ingredients and their preparation. The staff is professional, helpful, kind, and friendly.

01/06/2026: We had lunch at this restaurant today. The food was excellent, and the staff was attentive and friendly. From the appetizer to the side dish, everything was delicious, but the spelt meatballs with pecorino cheese fondue and truffle were a true delight. Highly recommended!

The overall five stars are a sign of appreciation for the overall experience, the hospitality, the delicious dinner, and the value for money. But it also gives me some food for thought as to why we should improve the bedrooms... Fix those, you'll be perfect!!!

17/05/2026: UPDATE: I’m updating my review after a change of heart. I at first felt I wanted to disregard my disappointment of this resort but after lack of care and accountability from the resort I thought I’d share. I’d first like to point out that the restaurant, their staff, chef, service and food were all five stars and excellent. The resort itself however lacked hospitality and any resemblance of luxury. Upon arrival we were horrified to fold over the sheets and find a smashed bug UNDER the covers. We then proceeded to check the rest of the bed in fear it was a bed bug later to realize a huge blood stain on the corner of the comforter. We immediately requested another room in a different building and were happy to be upgraded to a wellness suite although we still were weary of the cleanliness of the room and its lack of design. We had previously booked the cooking experience which was excellent and the staff was very accommodating. We left full with great food and wine and happy we experienced the resort. Until we checked out and realized that my suitcase handle had been broken with no way of collapsing it when it was working perfectly fine up until our departure when our bags were picked up from our room and taken to reception. I emailed the staff to notify them and instead was met with accusations of saying my suitcase was broken upon my arrival and complete denial of any carelessness. I am now left with having to replace my brand new $200 suitcase because my airline will not accept a suitcase that doesn’t collapse. I am deeply disappointed with the lack of professionalism that is to be expected with a luxury resort. I had thought they redeemed themselves from the bug and blood situation and even wrote them a good review (see below), until they blatantly denied and instead blamed me for my broken bag. We still enjoyed our experience but I would honestly just come for the day for the restaurant and wine and would pass on staying at the resort itself and save your money. Original review: We had a wonderful stay at Altarocca Wine Resort. The staff was incredibly friendly, responsive and accommodating. Location: The resort is about a 10 minute taxi ride from Orvieto or the train station which the resort was able to help arrange for us. The property itself is located in a beautiful and picturesque Italian countryside surrounded by vineyards and rolling landscape, perfect if you want that winery stay vibe. Food & Wine: The restaurant on property was incredible, hands down the best meal of our trip. It was fine dining with excellent service and fantastic execution with balanced yet sophisticated flavors at the right amount of complexity that was not too overwhelming. We went with the staffs recommendations as well as their recommended wine pairings and they couldn’t have done better - they nailed it! They serve both a variety of their in-house wines as well as an extensive list of other regional wines, but their in-house wines were all wonderful and we stuck with those throughout our stay. Experience: We were able to enjoy a stroll through the vineyards after breakfast and took their cooking class in the afternoon which included lunch and a wine tasting after. I highly recommend this experience as it was engaging, informational, and fun! Overall we were very pleased with our stay and it was one of the highlights of our trip. We felt prices were very reasonable for the experience and we will definitely be recommending this place to friends and family! Great views. Great food&wine. Great service
