13/02/2026: I visited Orvieto during a traditional Irish music festival last year. All I can say is please please pay this place a visit. Anthony is one of the nicest people you will ever meet and Blue Bar will be the most welcoming place you will visit.
Drinks are plentiful, reasonable and lovely and sometimes even croissants/cornettos can appear in the wee hours. Also a huge highlight is that Anthony is a fabulous musician who will delight in seranading you with songs old and new.
I cannot praise and thank this man enough for his kindness, musicality, friendliness and making the whole trip that much better.
23/01/2026: A very friendly bar where everyone knows each other. Antony is very welcoming and funny. A little gem in Orvieto.

05/01/2026: We went with friends (there were six of us in total, four adults and two children) while passing through Terni. Unfortunately, I didn't have time to take photos because all the dishes were devoured prematurely. The platters were amazing, the first courses excellent... I'm attaching a photo of the receipt to prove that for €20 a head you can go to McDonalds!

14/03/2026: It's a truly historic restaurant, and that's precisely why it's so special. The food is obviously excellent: we loved it so much we ended up ordering another pasta dish.
Even though we were Korean, the entire staff was incredibly kind to us. They explained the menu well and gave us excellent suggestions.
The atmosphere is beautiful, but what struck us most is how they continue to respect the traditions of the past. For example, they only serve wine and water, just like they did in the past, with no other beverages. It's rare and very charming.
If we return to Orvieto, this place will definitely be a must-see. Thank you so much, we had a truly wonderful meal. See you soon!
10/03/2026: I arrived around 1:30 PM after visiting the Orvieto Underground. I heard they offer a chance to sample medieval Orvieto cuisine, so I went. The server was very friendly. I had the thick, round Umbrian truffle carbonara pasta and the flat fettuccine ragu pasta. Both were delicious, especially the truffle carbonara. I highly recommend it.
For dessert, I ordered chocolate cake and drank it with espresso. The chocolate cake was filled with rich chocolate cream, giving it a rich chocolate flavor.

23/02/2026: I used to go to this place a long time ago, where they had really good burgers. Now I came for Sunday lunch to take advantage of the very convenient set menu offer. The portions are just right, but the menu is a bit monotonous. It's been an evergreen since November 1st, but I have to say it's acceptable.
Friendly and fast staff.

The dining room is large and welcoming, and we were delighted to have space for our daughter's stroller next to the table.
À la carte menu.
We ate wonderfully, everything was delicious!
Highly recommended!
13/10/2025: A good restaurant, but with a disappointing finish. The wait (not just for us, but for other tables as well) for payment, which lasted 30 minutes or more, was excessive. Maybe it was just Sunday.
