Everything very nice, friendly staff, excellent food

I've known Il Colombaio and Irma, the owner, for many years. The place is simply enchanting; relaxing on the benches overlooking the Chiani Valley and enjoying the sunset is an experience not to be missed. The rooms are clean and stylish, and the cuisine is traditional and high-quality. Nearby are lesser-known Umbrian gems, such as the villages of Montegabbione and Scarzuola, as well as historic sites like Città della Pieve and Orvieto.

The property boasts a breathtaking panoramic location, surrounded by a natural landscape of rare beauty offering picture-perfect views. In my opinion, the meat was simply exquisite, perfectly cooked and flavorful, as was the tagliatelle, expertly seasoned and exceptionally flavorful. An honorable mention absolutely goes to the truffles: incredibly fresh, intensely flavorful, and incredibly delicious, capable of enhancing and lending a unique touch of class to every course. Every detail is taken care of to offer a perfect experience in every way. Highly recommended! I would honestly return!

A wonderful place, we stayed in the apartment, comfortable and spacious... Serenity and relaxation, our dog had fun surrounded by greenery... A marvel, Giulia made herself more than available because the television did not work, she went out of her way to give us the service, truly very kind, Kira is a super big dog, I will bring you the biscuits again... Positive experience. We left this morning after a one-night stay. It's worth returning. The food was excellent, although due to the large lunch we didn't try their meats for dinner, but we know they're delicious from other guests. The structure is very welcoming and characteristic of the place. The manager is capable and hospitable, as is her staff. Thanks, until next time.

I only went to the restaurant on April 7 and had a divine meal. The place is also very nice and in a fantastic location.
