05/05/2025: Siamo capitati per caso in questo ristorante l'ultima sera del nostro soggiorno ... peccato perché saremmo tornati per provare anche le altre proposte del menù! Ogni portata è un tripudio di gusto accompagnato da qualche parola che ne amplifica la percezione. Davvero ottimo!

17/03/2025: Abbiamo festeggiato un compleanno in famiglia ed eravamo in 18. Antipasti ottimi! Salumi, giardiniera e il famoso maritozzo mazzafegato strepitosi. Ottime anche le tagliatelle con ragù di chianina per non parlare del dolce base sfoglia che avevamo richiesto come torta di compleanno. Buona cantina. Personale gentile e disponibile. 29/04/2025: Siamo stati sabato sera 26 aprile alla Tana del Luppolo. Le pizze erano scarsamente condite, con pochi ingredienti e una pomarola talmente acida da risultare immangiabile. Lo abbiamo fatto notare alla proprietaria, che ha difeso la qualità degli ingredienti dicendo che nessuno si era mai lamentato. Le avevamo prese senza mozzarella — come facciamo sempre altrove — quindi il confronto riusciamo a farlo. Forse proprio per l’assenza di mozzarella l’acidità era più’ evidente , ma il risultato è stato davvero pessimo, e noi siamo persone di bocca buona. Abbiamo lasciato gran parte delle pizze nel piatto, ma nonostante le critiche espresse, il conto ci è stato presentato per intero, senza alcun gesto di attenzione. Ce ne siamo andati affamati e molto delusi.

The staff is so welcoming and helpful even we do not have a reservation They are very patience and do not mind to explain us the dishes. The food itself tastes very good! We tried several different dishes, the wild boar with traditional sauce was good. Highly recommend!

19/05/2025: We took communion yesterday, we had a great time, the structure was fantastic and very welcoming and looked after in every little detail, we all ate good quality Umbrian products, very kind and helpful staff, compliments, I recommend it, the only thing to improve is to have a little break between one course and another, they were a little fast but for the rest everything went great, thanks for everything, we will definitely be back.

21/06/2025: I had one of my best ever steaks here! Really tender and delicious! A rustical atmosphere and beautiful local restaurant! Stracciatella ice cream was great, too! Really worth a visit. On busy days, you may need to wait in line a bit!

16/06/2025: La Bettola del Buttero has a really important location, varying between a beautiful outdoor space, and an indoor space where you can admire their beautiful grill in full view. Such a large location that leads to a "rushed" service, where the waiters seem forced to be rather hasty. To start we tried the classic pappardelle with ragù. The tomato and pasta were of excellent quality, it's a shame they were light on meat and the flavor of the sauce prevailed by far, which, although good, took away a lot of space from the idea of ​​ragù that we may have in mind. As for the highlight, namely the meat, I can say that the level is good, but not excellent. The Florentine steak was tasty, not real butter, but of a good level. Even with the fat pleasant to eat, a sign of good quality. It's a shame about the pieces of not important size. The sausage, excellent, nothing to say. I would only review the portion. The baked potatoes were well done, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and well flavored. I wouldn't recommend the cannellini beans, however. I found them rather bland. The bruschetta with cherry tomatoes was ok. As for desserts, I tried the crème brûlé, homemade by them, where the egg flavor was too predominant, and it was burnt on the bottom. Too bad. I found the prices to be fair. Overall, the food isn't bad, but many details make Buttero a place from zero to zero, without infamy and without praise, where nothing remains so impressed except the majesty of a truly particular location.

13/03/2025: Dicono che far bene possa capitare, il difficile inizia quando ci si deve confermare. Il Convivio non si stanca mai di confermarsi come il miglior ristorante, per distacco, a Terni. Ci sono molti locali e molti ristoranti meglio "posizionati" qui su Tripadvisor rispetto al Convivio... Silvia non se ne cura granchè. Penso sia un fatto caratteriale. Silvia, e lo stesso era per Massimo, non ammicca molto alle mode, non fa scelte ruffiane. Ma se volete mangiar bene, non ho altro strumento che usare questa recensione per dire quello che penso: "Il Convivio" è il posto giusto. Una cucina del territorio, mai uguale a se stessa, piena di curiosità, mai banale, sempre orgogliosa per quello che esprime... una cucina che non ha un briciolo di paura nell'osare e di esplorare sempre terreni nuovi. Delle mani felici che sanno cosa fare con ingredienti di prima qualità. Allora, in un mondo così pieno di banalità e di omologazione, in cui nessuno ha più coraggio di dire nulla, per la paura di sentirsi giudicati, Il Convivio resta un piccolo tesoro che merita di essere accudito e celebrato. Si tratta del miglior ristorante di Terni, il resto sono solo chiacchiere; Andateci a mangiare e capirete perchè!
