24/08/2025: While on vacation in the region, we visited this brewery. We received a warm welcome. There are no tastings on site. We purchased a small selection of their beers; all the beers are excellent... we had to go back to bring some back to France! Thank you again for your welcome and your kindness.

08/09/2025: The staff were friendly, courteous, and kind, like a kick in the teeth after a tooth extraction without anesthesia. Anyone can have a bad day, but please treat the public differently. The yogurt was honestly pretty bad, and the cherries were all torn to pieces. It's a shame; I had high hopes based on the reviews, but I'd be hard-pressed to return. The place is nice.

06/09/2025: My partner and I had a salted caramel ice cream cookie, a truffle, a blackberry ice cream stick, and two ice creams. Everything was amazing, especially the salted caramel cookie. 😍

14/07/2025: A nice tennis club, a nice clubhouse and a nice atmosphere, nice and very quiet golf course, very nice courses, they could be kept a little better, I found crooked lines and a lack of earth in some parts, the net in my opinion was not the right size even though I played a fit tournament, for the rest, nice changing rooms, nice atmosphere and nice people

18/10/2025: Phenomenal 6 course vegetarian tasting menu and experience!! We had such a delicious meal and learned so much. 6 courses plus crackers, bread, 2 appetizers. Awesome service and answered questions. Interesting and spot on combination of flavors, creative approach. Loved it!

13/10/2025: After more than thirty-five years in Italy, we recently had one of our most disappointing dinners, at La Cantina Del Mercataccio. Our tagliolini al tartufo bianco arrived lukewarm, the delicate truffle aroma lost. The waiter was attentive and offered to replace it, but with our main courses on the way, we declined. My filetto di maiale then appeared cold, with a warmish sauce served on a cold plate. It was taken back, and its replacement arrived only after everyone else had long finished eating. The final surprise came with the bill: €38 per plate of pasta. When we questioned the charge, the manager insisted the price reflected the truffle. Given the quality of the meal, this seemed unjustifiable. We eat pasta with truffles often, but never at such a ridiculous price (which was not shown on the menu!). A token €7 discount on a dinner for 4 did little to soften the impression. Despite polite service, the kitchen execution and pricing left much to be desired. For a restaurant that aims high, La Cantina Del Mercataccio fell short on both warmth and value.

31/08/2025: After watching the Borghese episode, we decided to go on a last weekend vacation. A perfect choice! The agriturismo, easily accessible, is truly the perfect place to unwind. Welcoming, very well-maintained, relaxing, and the food is excellent. Their wine is also very good. A truly successful family-run business. Congratulations, Donatella, to you and your family!
