If you're looking for an authentic culinary experience in the heart of Assisi, the Medioevo restaurant is a must-visit. The atmosphere is enchanting, but it's the food that truly makes the difference.
We started with an appetizer of mixed bruschetta and warm crostini: the freshest ingredients, perfectly crispy bread, and flavors that evoke the finest Umbrian tradition.
The real highlight, however, were the first courses: we ordered strangozzi with black truffle, which were simply amazing. The pasta was cooked to perfection, and the truffle, generous and fragrant, made every bite a true pleasure.
A special shout-out goes to the staff: friendly, courteous, and very attentive, they made you feel welcome from the first moment.

We were very well attended to, even though it was almost closing time. But they served us with great promptness and attention.
The food was well-prepared and tasty, served for two people. For dessert, we ordered Tiramisu, and it was the best we had in all the restaurants we went to in Rome and Assisi. We ordered white wine, 750 ml of the house wine. Very tasty for the dish we ordered.
I recommend it and will return.
For the service, food, and atmosphere.
Brazilian music, only orchestral, we felt at home.
I RECOMMEND IT AND WE WILL RETURN MANY MORE TIMES.

A restaurant a little more hidden than the others in town, with a less touristy facade and a more local, relaxed atmosphere. The setting is charming and rustic, the waiters professional and extremely kind, and the food, perhaps less sophisticated than it seems, but bursting with flavors, perfectly balanced and well-chosen. The portions are more than generous and will fill you up without a problem. Highly recommended for a dinner in the center of Assisi. Perhaps the only thing I'd suggest changing is removing a couple of seats; the tables can seem a little too close together, but in our case, that wasn't a problem since there were only a few of us in the dining room.

An excellent option for dining in the center of Assisi. Beautiful, quiet atmosphere. Very pleasant background music. Attentive, friendly, and unobtrusive service. We ordered the medieval platter, followed by gnocchi with Sagrantino wine and strangozzi with mushrooms. Vin Santo and artisanal tozzetti. Local house wine. Quality ingredients. Highly recommended.

I went to this restaurant for dinner yesterday. I had a legume soup and a main course of provola and prosciutto. I really enjoyed it. The service and staff were very friendly. I recommend it.

We were guests at the Hotel Pax and we came to dine at this restaurant. The dishes were exceptional, not to mention the very attentive staff. The family atmosphere is welcoming. We will return.
