15/08/2024: After a long walk through the mountains we arrived at this beautiful inn. There is a playground for children and a great panoramic view of the valley. The waitresses were very friendly and took our order quickly. The drinks we ordered arrived quickly and the price was right. We'd love to come back

15/08/2024: We stopped there while hiking and quickly found a spot. The service was there quickly and friendly, we enjoyed our Steinegger Bretl in the best weather and great views. The price was reasonable and local.👍 We were very happy with our stay. The path over the Meraner Höhenweg is beautiful but not a Sunday walk. It requires sure-footedness, sturdy shoes and you should be reasonably free from vertigo. Of course it is not included in the rating, only as additional information. 😉👍

15/08/2024: Last July (20-27) my family and I spent a holiday in Campo Tures (Val Aurina) at the wonderful Drumlerhof hotel. The owners Ruth and Stefan, together with their daughters Emma and Franzi, welcomed us with extreme kindness and courtesy into their facility, turning our holiday into a positive one, which, unfortunately, had started elsewhere in the worst possible way. From the first moment we felt at home and the atmosphere that we breathed in every corner of the hotel brought us an unparalleled serenity. The room assigned to us was very welcoming, clean, spacious and comfortable and I, with my wife Stefania, our two daughters Giulia and Sofia and our dog Lilly stayed there very comfortably. The aforementioned sensations accompanied us for the entire holiday also thanks to the hotel staff who, shaped by Ruth and Stefan, served and pampered us with great professionalism and friendliness, never intrusive and always very friendly. Sofia and I are celiac, while Giulia is lactose intolerant, but at the Drumlerhof hotel, none of us had to give up anything: from breakfast to dinner, including snacks, everything was gluten-free and there was always lactose-free option. A true paradise, a dream, especially for celiacs like us who usually struggle to find something edible and of quality. Here at the Drumlerhof "gluten-free" is not an option or an exception but rather the rule, but even those like my wife who do not suffer from intolerances are not neglected and can appreciate the variety and quality of the exceptional culinary offerings on a daily basis. Mrs. Ruth, also celiac, actively coordinates the cooking so that everything is perfect for us celiacs and I must say that the results are superlative. We were able to enjoy delicious breakfasts with various sweet and savory options, to better face the mountain walks, delicious snacks with strudel and homemade cakes, to recover from the fatigue, and dinners with truly particular and exquisite dishes of Tyrolean cuisine, from the dumpling to homemade pasta with various sauces, game, cheeses and vegetables from their farm, always ending with a sweet treat. Upon returning from walks and after a snack, the SPA on the hotel roof awaited us for a well-deserved rest: my favorite was the panoramic swimming pool. In short, in the family we all agreed in defining the holiday spent at the Drumlerhof as exceptional, both for what was described above and for other small surprises and attentions that positively amazed us. A heartfelt thank you to the entire Drumlerhof team! In Val Aurina we still have so much to discover and we would certainly like to do so by returning to the Drumlerhof! See you soon !

07/08/2024: On the recommendation of Hoamt, I was booked there for the third time for a private wedding ceremony. Working with the on-site staff is easy and uncomplicated. You can tell that they are very experienced at hosting weddings. Personally, I love the place by the pond with the beautiful long entrance. This means the bride can enjoy her entry with or without flower girls and bridesmaids. The food at the Agape as well as the banquet in the evening are excellent.

05/08/2024: We were only there for lunch but it was perfect. Excellent food, especially the tafelspitz and the herb cream soup. The excellent service handled the wedding, birthday party and regular guests in the spacious restaurant and outdoor garden without any problems.

19/08/2024: An unforgettable experience! The breathtaking view was just the beginning. The service was perfect, attentive and friendly, and the dishes were simply delicious, including desserts. The quality of the dishes, combined with the excellent quality-price ratio, made the evening even more special. A special mention goes to the polenta: its cauldron aftertaste took us back in time, remembering when it was prepared on the stove. A real dive into authentic flavors. And dogs are welcome. We will definitely be back!

12/08/2024: The beautiful Untere Obereggerhof is located directly on the Jaufen Pass. We had a nice, clean room with a great view. There is a beautiful spa area that invites you to relax and a great book corner with a straw bed. There are plenty of seating options outside where you can enjoy your meal with the most beautiful panoramic views. The breakfast was very tasty, as was the apple strudel that we enjoyed with a cappuccino in the afternoon. Outside there is a lovely petting zoo with lots of cute animals and a playground for the children. Both the hosts and all the staff were super warm and attentive. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back.

10/08/2024: Wir sind heute zur Hütte zum Mittagessen zugekehrt und freuten uns über ein fröhliches Mittagessen unter Freunden mit einer tollen Aussicht. Die Aussicht auf die Berge war ja prima und das wissen die Betreiber auch, denn dadurch haben sie beschlossen sich um nichts anderes zu kümmern, was Kundenbetreuung, Zufriedenheit oder Qualität anbelangt. Wir bestellen Knödel auf Krautsalat - die Spinatknödel kommen wörtlich nach 3 Minuten nach Bestellung - trocken, kalt und geschmacklos - darauf hin fragen wir die Kellner ob wir etwas Butter darauf haben könnten. 2 Minuten später kommen die Knödel ebenso trocken und traurig wieder zurück. Dessert (Kniakiachlen) waren gut. Kaffee: leider Bestellung falsch. Als wir beim Bezahlen, auf die Frage: “ war alles ok?” Mit: “ naja, diese Knödel wohl wirklich nicht ok.” antworten, entgegnet uns ein sehr junger, offensichtlich noch nicht in Manieren trainierter Kellner sehr arrogant und schnippisch: ”ach, jaja die Köche sagen das kann schon passen so.” An dieser Stelle verstehe ich, dass auf dieser Hütte nicht nur die Knödel, sondern viel mehr das Personal (Besitzer?) geschmacklos sind. Schade, dass man hier nur versucht soviel wie möglich von der Turisten abzuzocken und keinen Wert auf die lokale Kundschaft legt.. wir sind nämlich “do-ige” und unterscheiden sehr wohl einen ordentlichen Knödel von dem Zeug, den man uns heute serviert hat. - für 14 € zwei Spinatknödel. Klar ist, dass wir da nie wieder hin werden aber sehr gerne dafür sorgen werden, dass so viele Einheimische wie möglich diese Turisten-falle vermeiden und auch Turisten drauf aufmerksam machen werden, dass es von solchen Hütten jede Menge gibt.. und auf anderen isst man sogar gut und wird gar nicht veräppelt! Da evitare assolutamente. Personale arrogante ed impreparato e cibo scadente. Noi gente del posto lo evitiamo categoricamente. Che dispiacere questi posti senza cuore.

09/08/2024: Malga Contrin, la seconda malga del nostro viaggio all'Alpe di Siusi, la prima dove ci fermiamo a pranzare, si perché si presenta molto bene già dall esterno, con una bella terrazza panoramica esterna, con zone di sole e zone di ombra, la parte dei lettini dove ci si può riposare, le mucche in alpeggio e le caprette alle quali si dà un ciuffetto d erba. La salita è invitante e quando si arriva alla Malga Contrin il panorama è mozzafiato. Ordinati due primi e due birre, il servizio è gentile e disponibile. I ragazzi sono bravi e svegli. I piatti molto prelibati danno la giusta carica per ripartire. Oltre agli animali ci sono anche i salta salta, i giochi con la sabbia e un altalena, come quasi tutte le Malghe.

03/08/2024: Great restaurant in a lovely location in the center of Merano. Pizza and pasta were really delicious. Service friendly, fast and attentive. Two special requests for pizza and desert were taken into account and even implemented in a very visually appealing way. We felt very comfortable and would come back at any time. If possible, you should reserve well in advance.

21/08/2024: Had an amazing lunch here, the waiter seemed burned out, still did his best... ambience very nice, even though the restaurant filled up quite quickly, it didn't get loud. Very enjoyable, good food and got tapwater as requested

11/08/2024: I wonder how they still have the same waiters for years. They have no education, they barely speak a language, they don't do what you ask on purpose and I'm not surprised if they even spit on your plate.

26/08/2024: Stayed with wife and 15 year old daughter in a delux basecamp, very large and well laid out room, with balcony with splendid view, very clean. Varied breakfast with a wide sweet and savory choice. Very central location in Solda and an excellent starting point for hiking or for the nearby ski lifts. We had dinner every evening at the hotel's restaurant and found the quality of the food to be excellent. The B&B is also equipped with large relaxation/reading and games rooms, as well as a sauna area (which however we did not use). Prices appropriate to the structure and excellent organization. We will definitely be back!
