06/08/2024: We happened upon it for lunch on our way to the holiday destination and we found a very nice, familiar environment where they serve excellent food!

27/07/2024: During my recent visit to the Dal Barba restaurant, unfortunately the experience did not live up to expectations, and I feel forced to leave a negative review for a number of very specific reasons. Hospitality and Atmosphere: As soon as I entered the place, the atmosphere didn't immediately strike me in a positive way. The welcome was cold and impersonal; the staff seemed distracted and not interested in making customers feel comfortable. The environment was noisy and unkept, with tables too close together which made it difficult to have a private conversation. The lighting was too bright, creating an unrelaxing environment. Food Quality: Moving on to the crux of my visit, the pizza. I had high expectations, but was deeply disappointed. The pizza was terribly watery, with a base that seemed almost uncooked, too soft and lacking the crunchiness you expect from a good pizza. Furthermore, the tomato flavor was overly dominated by oregano, which drowned out any other flavor nuances. The whole thing was heavy and unappetizing, a real disappointment for anyone who loves pizza. Service: The service was equally disappointing. After being shown to the table, it took too long to receive the menus and even longer to place the order. The staff seemed disorganized and had little attention to detail. When asked for a change of dish, due to the unsatisfactory pizza, the reaction was rude and hasty, without any attempt to improve the situation. Value for money: Considering the poor quality of the food and service, the prices were definitely over the top. I expected much more for the cost. There are many other restaurants in the city that offer significantly higher quality at similar or even lower prices. Conclusion: Ultimately, my experience at the Barba restaurant was negative in various respects. Not only was the quality of the pizza unacceptable, but the service and atmosphere also contributed to the visit being unpleasant. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a good dining experience. I hope the place can take this constructive criticism into consideration to improve in the future. 13/07/2024: Very tasty to eat, very friendly service. Quiet location for dining outside on the terrace. It is also outside the tourist region, so you know that it is also appreciated by the locals. Definitely recommended.

19/06/2024: Ein fast leeres Lokal ist schon mal,verdächtig Die Zupetta , grüne Erbsen mit Brotbrocken total überteuert für 18€ das Filet sollte 250 gr.haben es waren maximal 200gr. Spagetti mit Muscheln waren ok . In der Nähe gibt es viele Alternativen.wir waren auf Empfehlung unseres hotels hier.

28/08/2024: Delicious pizzas!!! The only area for improvement would be the lamp on the patio where our table was, responded to a sensor. So it went on and off during dinner. Everything else is great!

I piatti sono un tripudio di colore e sapore, sorprendenti e spiritosi. La tradizione che reinterpretata si fa ricordare. Consigliatissimo per cena in cui si desidera stupire e/o sperimentare. Voto 10. Prezzo / Qualità eccellenti.

25/08/2024: Everything wonderful. Only note: It should be specified that a large part of wellness is not accessible unless naked. Honestly, I would remove this limit because many people don't like getting naked or seeing other people naked. It would be fairer to give everyone the opportunity to access.

20/08/2024: Exceptionally good experience. Impeccable: so much choice. Skiing, excursions, wellness facilities, heated pool indoor and outdoor, excellent food and very friendly and efficient service. My best winter holiday.

06/08/2024: Very friendly, even though it was full we were served in a friendly manner at the counter and given a table 10 minutes later. The pizza is one of the top 10 pizzas I've had so far. Great.

05/08/2024: Wow just wow. We arrived 4 people without a reservation. The place was buzzing, but we were met with a big smile. Have a seat at the bar and we'll find a table. 10 minutes later we were all sorted. Had the most amazing appetizer (special of the day) and beautiful pizzas. We can highly recommend this cozy place.

25/08/2024: Where should I start? The ambience was amazing, the staff was absolutely great, and the food was simply delicious! We had the ravioli and the bolognese which was really incredibly tasty. The herbs come from our own garden and almost everything is exclusively from our own production (olive oil and apple vinegar! We'll be back Tobi!-) Thank you 🙏

04/08/2024: We decided to come for lunch in this very characteristic hut, which can be reached from the town after about an hour's walk, managed by young and capable staff. We felt at ease.

16/08/2024: Great campsite, very clean, well organized. Super helpful, friendly and warm welcome! The natural swimming pool is really a huge plus, I 1000% recommend this place

14/08/2024: Perfect campsite, Breathtaking view of the dolomites, large pitches, possibility of having breakfast and/or a drink on the terrace but also eating at their restaurant! Ultra modern and clean sanitary facilities a real treat! Thank you so much

22/08/2024: We stopped on the way down from Seceda and shortly after it started raining. We had an amazing strudel and while waiting for the rain to stop we had the opportunity to have a chat. I think she is the owner, a very kind person like the staff.

05/08/2024: A slightly different hotel...where you can relax and unwind. Located in a place of pilgrimage, you can feel the atmosphere of earlier days. So it is obvious that the rooms do not have a television. The hosts put a lot of effort into the food to ensure that the guests have a good time. There is also a sauna and you get an extra sauna bag for that. A bus stop is a few meters away so you can do without the car. Great hiking routes can be started from here.

04/08/2024: “Zum Hirschen” is a fantastic hotel where we relaxed very well. “Zum Hirschen” is a family business that is run with great passion for detail (communication, cuisine, atmosphere and architecture). Edith and Mirko are always available and always friendly, helpful and they know the area very well and give lots of tips. From a culinary point of view, “Zum Hirschen” impresses with an outstanding concept (regional, wild herbs, Hildegard von Bingen), the wine list is excellent (many wines from South Tyrol and Veneto). Be sure to book half board! We hiked straight from the house every day and didn't move the car for a week. But Merano and Bolzano can generally be reached quickly. The border between South Tyrol and Veneto is only a few kilometers south, the towns (St. Felix and Fondo) offer an exciting contrast. Conclusion: A special place! We would like to come again!
