02/05/2026: We were a group. The welcome from the owner was very good. The cocktail was very weak and could be improved. Starting with the room: The bathroom was newly renovated, the furnishings were older but well-maintained. The mattresses were very soft and could use replacing. The balcony was lovely with an even better view of the Mutspitze peak and the valley. It was always clean. Service in the restaurant was very good. The reception staff were also always helpful. The breakfast buffet was adequate and perfectly sufficient. The only negative point was dinner. You had to eat a lot of salad beforehand, and the men, in particular, had trouble with the portion sizes. For example, two tortellini as a starter is quite small. But the main criticism was the taste. It was almost entirely lacking in flavor. Very bland. It was missing everything, even spices and salt. Improvement is needed. Perhaps it's also due to our age that we would have preferred traditional South Tyrolean cuisine instead of fancy dishes. The dessert was decorated with mint leaves, which were all wilted – something we've never seen before. It's best to avoid it. Otherwise, the hotel is a good choice.

Strengths Analysis Location and Atmosphere: The location offers one of the most evocative panoramic views in the area. The visual impact, combined with the design of the rooms (extremely welcoming and well-maintained), defines a setting I would describe as unparalleled. Management and Hospitality: The true added value is the human capital. The owners manage the property with a dedication that transforms the guest-hotelier relationship into an almost family-like bond. The welcome is impeccable, warm, and consistent. Services and Wellness: The common areas and services are top-notch; in particular, the pool proves to be a key element for relaxation. Food and Wine: The quality of the food is excellent, complemented by a varied and high-quality breakfast buffet. Although the dinner price is slightly above average, it's justified by the quality of the ingredients and the service. Final Considerations The only real "downside" is the objective difficulty of leaving the property at the end of your stay: leaving such a rejuvenating and harmonious environment is the only sore point in an otherwise perfect experience.

04/03/2026: Good morning, From the moment we entered, the service was top-notch: very helpful, smiling, and friendly. Breakfasts were always beautifully prepared, with high-quality Italian products. The waiter always asked if she could prepare anything extra, such as scrambled eggs or an omelet. We also had dinner, which we still remember to this day was exceptional. The spa is fantastic, with a beautiful view. The rooms are spacious, carefully prepared, and after returning from skiing, everything was perfectly tidy. And we can't forget the gentleman who always dropped us off and picked us up on time, incredibly kind and smiling. When I asked to print a document, it was no problem at all. This is an ideal place for those traveling by electric car; the hotel has its own charging station. We wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone and will definitely be back. Thank you so much for a wonderful time!

02/02/2026: Visited on spec and luckily got seated thanks to a cancellation. This proved to be a great success as the whole meal, including service was first class.

20/04/2026: was very disappointed with this restaurant. At first glance, the waitstaff seem confident and professional, but it quickly becomes clear that they lack real knowledge and attention to what they are serving. They are unable to properly describe the dishes and show little awareness of the food they bring to the table. We tried several dishes, but unfortunately the experience was negative across the board. The kitchen clearly needs significant improvement: the pasta tasted pre-cooked, the meat was prepared on a flat grill with low-quality oil and had a burnt aftertaste. The dessert, an apple strudel, was perhaps the lowest point. It seemed homemade, but without any care or quality. The pastry was not proper shortcrust, the apples were brown, old, and completely lacking in flavor. Truly inedible. It’s a real shame, because an important brand like Forst deserves food that matches its level of quality. As it stands, the overall standard is simply not acceptable.

18/04/2026: I have rarely eaten so badly in a restaurant... Precooked and overcooked pasta, ribs served 5 minutes after ordering, burnt and stringy... Terrible experience, absolutely not recommended.

02/06/2026: Good food at a fair price. We would definitely recommend it. For dessert, we ordered apple strudel with vanilla sauce, which was also very good (it contains raisins).

16/04/2026: The lobby is very beautiful, welcoming, and spacious. I found the staff at reception to be very professional and friendly. The breakfast is excellent, with a wide selection of both savory and sweet items. They also offer a protein breakfast with various seeds, dried fruit, and low-fat yogurt. There are few cakes, but the strudel and jams are delicious. The room is 80% occupied by a double bed, which is made into a queen-size bed. You sleep with a loose duvet. There is a safe, but no minibar. Trouser hangers are available upon request. The bathroom has been completely renovated, beautiful, and functional, but there is no bidet. There is a 24-inch DT TV. I didn't use the Wi-Fi. For smokers, there is a small balcony with a chair and an ashtray. The shutters are electric. The room is double-glazed, and on the street side, the bathroom window must also be closed to block out traffic. Very clean.

08/04/2026: We received a very friendly welcome and were given a family suite on the first floor, which had a beautiful view of the lovely garden and the mountains. Everything was very clean and spacious. There was a large parking lot behind the hotel, and we ate at the hotel. The set menu was excellent and reasonably priced. Breakfast was also varied and of good quality. The staff throughout were very courteous. With the hotel's guest card, you can travel to the city center free of charge. All in all, a very successful and pleasant stay.

20/05/2026: The mountain hut is easy to reach with a very short walk from the parking lot. The place is very beautiful, with various animals to observe up close and a small playground—a real treat. The problem, as we've noted in the past when we came for dinner, is the management. No smiles, no welcome, no manners. Arriving in the afternoon, we find ourselves with three customers. We spend 10 minutes watching the baristas, hoping they'll come to our table. They glance at us fleetingly with mournful expressions, but nothing. So at the counter, we ask for a coffee and a macchiato. The barista even takes a note on a piece of paper (!), and we receive... two macchiatos. Nothing tragic, but obviously, "thank you," "you're welcome," and "goodbye" don't exist here. That's fine for them, just because there's no competition. Being locals, we're used to the good-natured grumpiness of the locals, but we definitely won't be returning. I'm updating my review the next day: after reading this, the manager managed to trace my number and contacted me privately with extremely offensive and personally unacceptable messages. This behavior goes far beyond any normal customer interaction and, in my opinion, further confirms the lack of professionalism I encountered.
