04/09/2025: From the bus stop or the large parking lot next to the Albergo Bucaneve at the Lavaze Pass, you can reach the Auerleger Alm via a 3 km footpath or a 6 km long, newly constructed forest road (with great views). The alpine pasture can also be reached directly by car via the access road to the Jochgrimm. The Auerleger Alm is surrounded by dense forest and, in terms of architecture, offers rather limited views. With over 200 outdoor seats and additional dining rooms, the alpine inn is geared more toward large crowds than a cozy stay. This is also reflected in the unappealing display of the daily specials at the entrance. The service is accordingly prompt. The ordered pasta dishes arrived quickly, but were almost cold and carelessly tipped onto the plates. Unfortunately, the taste was also not particularly good. The price-performance ratio doesn't match up; in addition, there is an additional €1.50 per person for the cover charge (cover). We will definitely look for a different destination for our next hike in this area.

10/11/2025: Beautiful facility. Limited to 120 visitors. Occupancy is immediately visible on the homepage. It can be said that when occupancy reaches 75%, most loungers are occupied (only a few remain).

24/09/2025: The octopus salad was delicious 😋 The main courses (pizza, pasta) were excellent. The tiramisu had a slight cinnamon flavor, but it depends on your taste. The prices were very reasonable.

27/09/2025: We stopped in the first time for an aperitivo and it wasn't a great experience. We tried again two years later for lunch, almost by chance, and we were very satisfied. The food is of excellent quality and craftsmanship. The prices aren't like those of a tavern, but they're not outrageous, in line with the quality of the dishes. The atmosphere is simple but clean and tidy. The staff is top-notch.

22/08/2025: Typical atmosphere, excellent food, really good tagliatelle with mushrooms. Centrally located in the village of Primiero.

30/09/2025: A very nice restaurant, and I had the best pizza of my life here. The people are very friendly, I highly recommend it.

13/09/2025: I stayed at the "Kreuzwirt" as a bus driver with a school class on a graduation trip. The first positive: a dedicated parking space was reserved for the bus. The second positive: a single room for me as the driver – with a direct view of the mobile equipment. The third positive: the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The fourth positive: breakfast and dinner were consistently excellent, although there was one downside: the group room for a hungry group of 40 people was definitely too small. This led to avoidable stress during the process. But: overall, the hotel is well-suited for school trips; even if it's located far back in the Ahrntal Valley and the drive to Bruneck takes three-quarters to a full hour. Last but not least, a heartfelt thank you for the "farewell drink." A nice gesture from the friendly host couple!

21/09/2025: Beautiful photos, but the pancake was kind of cold. We arrived at 9:00 AM and there was only one other table with customers. We placed our order (cappuccino, matcha, pancakes, another savory item, etc.) and only received the pancakes. Then the place started to fill up with customers, all the customers were served, they started receiving their orders, including cappuccino, and we didn't receive anything! We had already finished eating the pancakes, without anything to drink with them. We got up and left because the lack of organization was huge! And when it came time to pay, the employees didn't even know what to charge us because they didn't even know where they had written down that we had eaten the pancakes 🫠🤌🏽

04/11/2025: A very nice restaurant with excellent service and the food is more than wonderful.

01/11/2025: The food portions are very small, but very tasty; it was enough for us. However, it wouldn't be enough for someone who's been hiking all day. Breakfast is excellent, with everything you could possibly want. The rooms are nicely furnished, the bathroom could use a renovation, and the regulars' table looks like it's from the 80s, but it's clean. You have to get used to the beds, as they have a board instead of a slatted frame.

25/09/2025: The restaurant is open to customers and is of the highest quality, the dishes are carefully prepared, plentiful and of excellent quality.

20/09/2025: Awesome rooms, awesome views and also good prices. I recommend this place for everyone!
