It's always a pleasure to come back

We went here, and after a long stroll through the city center, we decided to stop for lunch. I've been here several times, and honestly, I thought there had been improvements in both the food quality and the organization, but...the food quality is average, with many dishes pre-cooked to reduce the wait. The prices are moderately high for a place with this type of food and the clientele. The only thing that deserves 5 stars is obviously the beer. Overrated.

One of the classic restaurants in Bolzano and definitely a good place to go if you want to eat typical South Tyrolean food. The outdoor seating is very pleasant, with plenty of space between the tables, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food arrived quickly. We had a schnitzel and the cheese dumplings. Both were delicious and very satisfying. We also enjoyed a freshly tapped Forst Kellerbier, which I highly recommend. My only minor criticism of the cheese dumplings was the salad. While everything tasted good, the salad portion could have been a bit larger to make the dish more balanced. Overall, though, a very successful meal with good service and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommended.

The pork knuckle is superb, the spicy ribs also delicious but the meat a bit stuck to the bone, you should eat it with your hand. But overall experience its a 4 stars.

Nice restaurant in the mid of market. Cozy ambience. We ordered pork knuckle and spare ribs. The portion was big with reasonable price.

The roasted pork knuckle (Schweinshaxe), roasted pork ribs, and roasted potatoes were all delicious. The waiters were friendly.

Excellent food!! I had a cheese-crusted beef fillet that was butter! My husband had a hamburger sandwich... But the service was sooooo slow, we had to wait ages for the bill!!! Lots of tables, not enough staff. But the atmosphere was great, and the place was beautiful.

Impeccably prepared Tyrolean dishes in a historic venue in the city center. The home of beer and more. An excellent choice for service and price.

Lunch at Forst in Bolzano: Goulash with baked potatoes and venison burger. Dessert: strudel with vanilla cream.

Much lower than when it served quality food. At least I ate ribs and pork shank from the day before for dinner. Too bad, it was my favorite.
