Excellent food!! I had a cheese-crusted beef fillet that was butter! My husband had a hamburger sandwich... But the service was sooooo slow, we had to wait ages for the bill!!! Lots of tables, not enough staff. But the atmosphere was great, and the place was beautiful.

Much lower than when it served quality food. At least I ate ribs and pork shank from the day before for dinner. Too bad, it was my favorite.

Without a reservation, I was seated alone in the entrance area, even though there was plenty of space in the back of the restaurant. Only after asking was I offered a better seat. The Schlutzkrapfen (filled pasta) were very good, but the goulash had seen better days and was quite dry.

I was in Bolzano to visit the Christmas markets and had lunch at this historic restaurant. I savored traditional Alto Adige dishes. The beers on offer were fantastic. I recommend booking a table because the restaurant is very popular and well-known. Rating: EXCELLENT (the best I can give).

Great experience! The place was packed and a bit chaotic, but they were very kind in finding us a table for two without a reservation. The guy who served us was very knowledgeable about gluten-free options and pointed out everything I could eat without a care or that could be modified, including desserts! The food was so rich and excellent, both in terms of selection and quantity. I highly recommend it!
