24/08/2025: The location alone is worth the trip! It's located on the side of the road from Sant'Antonio di Mavignola to Madonna di Campiglio, with a view of the Brenta Dolomites, which is breathtaking, especially at sunset. The well-maintained stone and wood structure, nestled on a slope at the edge of the forest, looks like a fairytale house. There's also a large parking lot, also in a scenic location. It offers a very extensive menu, with many local dishes (I especially loved the venison shanks). The staff is attentive and courteous, and the prices are fair. It's best to book in advance, as it's very popular.

23/08/2025: We had dinner at this restaurant. The food was decent, but the service was terrible. The two young waiters circulated like vultures, and as soon as the dish was finished, they came to the table to take it away. Twice, I was still chewing, and they took my plate away without even asking. When it came to the bill (€120), although the customers before and after us were offered a digestive grappa, we were not offered anything. The food was okay, but it definitely needs improvement. We won't be returning.

15/11/2025: The nice thing about this place is the view, the furniture and the chestnuts. Service is very slow. I am intollerant to gluten and asked for a second without the knödel and made sure that everything else was without flour and yet they brought the meal with the knödel. Since I didn't want to make a fuss about it, i just picked up the parts that didn't touch the knödel. I wouldn't recommend it.

15/08/2025: We had a truly generous appetizer of cured meats for two, with half a portion of polenta with mushrooms, followed by an excellent veal chop and two good bottled beers. I highly recommend it.

06/10/2025: We were here for the first time two years ago and again this weekend – and it was wonderful again! Everything feels very homely; everyone is friendly and welcoming. The donkeys in the morning are especially lovely – a real highlight. The food is super fresh and delicious, the rooms cozy and inviting. We'll definitely be back next year!

27/07/2025: Functional for a few days, but the rooms need updating. Just a few weeks before our vacation, my partner and I were looking for affordable accommodation near Riva. The Hotel Rudy is located about 2 kilometers north of the city center. We walked there almost every evening to enjoy a (really delicious) meal. When we arrived, we tried to check in about two hours before the stated check-in time. The friendly staff member made sure our room was cleaned with priority, and we only had to wait half an hour. Our room on the second floor was easily accessible by both the elevator and the (fairly narrow) stairs. The door was a bit awkward to open, and the room key was very old-school (no card or anything like that) and clunky. The room opened onto two balconies, from which we had a direct view of the main street. One room had two seats and a small table, but unfortunately, due to the very bad weather for the end of July, we couldn't make use of them. The furnishings and fittings are a bit dated and very worn. The bathroom, especially the shower, is very small and difficult to use even for slim people. The bathroom door (see photo) had disgusting stains, and I didn't even want to know where they came from. The beds were quite deep, but functional. The biggest drawback for us was actually the very thin and thin walls. Combined with "great" neighbors who don't know how to sleep well at night, last night was a complete nightmare. The street noise is also quite loud; if you're sensitive to this, you should ask for another room. We visited the pool twice. It's beautifully quiet, large enough for cooling off, and offers sunbathing space for around 25 hotel guests. If the weather is good and you don't necessarily want to swim laps, it's perfectly adequate. The breakfast was delicious throughout our entire vacation, the selection was absolutely sufficient, and there was always something to suit everyone. I think everyone will find something to their liking here. We didn't use the hotel restaurant during our stay. Overall, the hotel is highly recommended for a short trip to Lake Garda (with a few reservations). However, there are certainly more modern options available at a comparable price.

18/07/2025: Very friendly staff 👍 Cozy pool area Great breakfast. We stayed there for 7 days. It's a 5-minute bike ride to the center of Riva del Garda. The only downside is the bathroom, which was unfortunately too small.

09/11/2025: A small, almost hidden restaurant... in Borgo... in the province of Trento... where you can eat and enjoy remarkably refined, tasty, and abundant dishes (but in the right way...). This place should participate in the program I 4 RISTORANTI... it deserves it and could even win... being complete as a whole...

28/09/2025: Peter and David, two originals, make you forget the everyday. A quaint wine bar, tucked away in a back courtyard on Rennweg. A must-stop. The wine advice and the wines are top-notch, the snacks to accompany the wine are delicious. The music will make you dream of times gone by, and to top it off: our Giant Schnauzer, Digger, is never left out 😊

04/12/2025: Neat and clean room, excellent location just steps from the historic center and the Christmas markets, conveniently located near public transportation, covered parking nearby, excellent breakfast, friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!

25/10/2025: The cleanliness of the rooms (especially the bathrooms) is questionable. Otherwise, a solid hotel close to the center.

14/02/2026: Good food, good snacks, and a very rude owner. He kicked us out, saying we had to vacate the table while the Coke (we paid for) was still unfinished. He should have told you when you booked, the table is free from 11:00 to 13:00. I will never go there again because of the rudeness.

28/12/2025: Great place to have a cup of good coffee and grab a quick bite. The server was very pleasant and spoke English, which was a plus for me!

28/02/2026: We went there tonight and I don't think I'll ever set foot there again. Microscopic tartar, awful wine list, decent rib eye, if it hadn't been ruined by the side of potatoes and salt. Plus, we had two dogs and they thought it was a good idea to put us in the middle so they couldn't stay calm with the dogs. Anyway, I didn't see anything special about the typical dishes. A terrible experience.

20/02/2026: You spend a lot on subpar dishes. The selection is limited and the service is so-so. Even the (simple) dish of the day didn't even meet the minimum standards.

16/10/2025: I'd love to go there sometime; the entrance is very beautiful and idyllic, it looks like a place for young people to hang out. Table football and darts... I'm really drawn to the lovely terrace with the figures in the lawn. I'll definitely stop by sometime, and in the meantime, I'm happy to recommend you to others. I was briefly nearby, but unfortunately, I was a bit late and had to move on. I did manage a quick peek into the garden, though... Enjoy the rest of autumn!

13/12/2025: Pur Südtirol in Bolzano is a pleasant spot to enjoy some local South Tyrolean flavors. We stopped here to eat a pretzel filled with speck and cheese, which was tasty and satisfying. There are also outdoor tables available, making it a nice place to sit down and relax, and the prices are honest for the quality offered.

10/12/2025: A truly beautiful and welcoming restaurant. The quality of the products is excellent, and the wide selection caters to all tastes. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it!

03/12/2025: My friend and I spent two nights in Trento. We had dinner here both nights. A classic restaurant that deserves 5 stars EVERYWHERE. We ate: salad, a pasta dish, and dessert: everything was delicious. But the tapas are exceptional... I already miss them!!! The carne salada parcels, speck with potato tortel, and their vegetable focaccia are exceptional. So good. The waitresses were very kind. The atmosphere was quiet, relaxing, with comfortable sofas, a clean bathroom, and very fair prices.
