28/08/2025: We wanted pizza, but which one? We tried the Viandante pizza for two, chosen by the pizza chef. I liked it, in fact I really liked the toppings he put on it, and I have to say that the dough was also really good. However, it's a shame about the location, which is a bit lost and you can't figure out how to get in. However, all in all, we had a great time.

26/08/2025: If you want to eat at a slightly lower price than in the city of Rovereto, this is the place to be. The atmosphere is dated, with few but friendly staff. The pizza is decent and the meat is good, but there's a bit of a wait. Average dinner price is €18-€25. Takeout is popular. I found the restaurant entrance difficult to reach because it's on a side street.

22/08/2025: We ordered takeout pizzas… we're campers, and within 10 minutes they made us 4 pizzas! They even kindly cut them into slices… Delicious pizzas… we'll be back when we're passing through Bolzano… We highly recommend it!!!! Oh… The prices are TOP!

16/08/2025: Pizzeria Vesuvio in Bolzano is very welcoming and family-friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant and the staff friendly. The pizzas are truly delicious and made with fresh ingredients.

13/09/2025: We had Schlutzkrapfen (a kind of fried doughnut) and goulash with bacon dumplings. The dumplings were almost not as fluffy, the goulash was a bit overseasoned, and the meat was very stringy in places. The Schlutzkrapfen (a kind of fried doughnut) was delicious. The seating is nice, and you can almost always find a table. Service was fine.

04/09/2025: A unique place surrounded by greenery, with a swimming pool equipped with a whirlpool and loungers. It's strategically located close to both Lido Marini and Presicce, as well as Santa Maria di Leuca. The room is clean, air conditioned, and has a bathroom with a shower. A clothesline outside the room was very useful, I must say. Breakfast was plentiful and always stocked with fresh cakes. We'll miss our dearest guests. The staff was also super friendly and helpful; truly a gem. It also has private parking located behind the farmhouse, very convenient.

30/07/2025: A beautiful place for hiking, very quiet. A car is definitely required. The room was nice, the bathroom functional, but everything was just showing its age and a bit worn. Unfortunately, there weren't enough electrical outlets in the room, so be sure to pack a double plug. The breakfast was typically Italian! So don't be disappointed; it's not a breakfast buffet like we're used to.

30/08/2025: A very good rest area, with everything needed for campers. Water and waste disposal facilities, and electricity. A very quiet area. Ideal for a rest and recovery from the journey. There's also a small meadow with shade from the trees. Someone has put a lot of thought into making it very pleasant. Thank you for this opportunity.

29/08/2025: We were only there for a quick restroom break. The nice person at the restroom (presumably illegally) charged us 50 cents for using the smelly, dirty restrooms. Next time, we'll try somewhere else.

25/08/2025: We just had lunch... I had a Caesar salad and my husband a sandwich, and then we had two excellent ice cream sundaes! As for the food, I have to say it wasn't bad, and the ice cream there is delicious and beautifully presented. But the staff's hospitality—I'm sorry, but it's just not up to par, especially in places like these where you're usually greeted with smiles and kindness—wasn't like that here. They weren't rude, but a smile doesn't hurt. Furthermore, the service was a bit slow and inattentive, meaning that when you had to order, you'd call and it would take a while for them to arrive. When the ice cream sundaes came, we still had the empty plates we'd ordered earlier, and we had to move them to put the sundaes on the table... then, of course, they took the empty plates, but not all of them!

23/08/2025: A very welcoming establishment, extremely kind and courteous staff, very good food, and meticulously prepared cuisine. Unfortunately, the somewhat ambiguous restaurant manager, who was so ambiguous on our last day, decided to take our table away before breakfast without any warning. We were left wandering around the room under his amused gaze. We reported this to the very kind and helpful reception manager, who assured us she would inform management. We will definitely return to this establishment.

01/08/2025: A halal restaurant, especially for Gulf people. Its food is delicious. It has excellent and delicious biryani and other dishes. The workers are Pakistani Muslims.

25/07/2025: The restaurant is beautiful and the food is delicious. The outdoor seating is better because their indoor seating isn't air-conditioned. However, I sat by the window, and the atmosphere was pleasant. The service from the staff was quick and friendly. I recommend trying it for anyone who loves Indian food. They also offer several varieties of pizza and burger sandwiches. They also rave about their shawarma, but I haven't tried it.

07/09/2025: Excellent pizza for those who like the Neapolitan version with a thick crust. The staff is friendly and helpful. It's a shame that sometimes the bottom gets burned, ruining the flavor.

07/08/2025: €8 for a Margherita, I open the box and find an extra baby pizza, even raw. You'd better close the door, this job isn't for you.

03/09/2025: I liked the modern, bright ambiance, the friendly service, and the quality of the coffee and food. Prices are reasonable, but you're paying a bit for the view. The restroom issue is rather suboptimal. The service staff should proactively inform guests about the procedure when taking their orders. Overall, though, it's highly recommended.

27/08/2025: Unfortunately, the Edelweiss Hut has lost its original charm. The cake is truly delicious, and the cappuccino is decent. But for me, the new Edelweiss Hut has absolutely nothing to do with its former coziness. Concrete, glass, and steel dominate – cold, impersonal, and completely out of place in this beautiful mountain region. Anyone looking for tradition and alpine flair will be disappointed. For me, this style doesn't suit the Jaufen Pass at all.
