07/05/2025: A pleasant discovery! This place really surprised me in a positive way. Not your usual plant-based restaurant with just hummus and salads. With an eye for innovation they have managed to maintain the characteristic flavors of Italian cuisine, simple, tasty but not banal. Highly recommended!!!

30/07/2025: Absolutely fantastic! There's not much seating, so pizza is mostly taken away. Luckily, we were able to sit at a table. We were given the menu right away and ultimately decided on a quattro formaggi and della casa. Because pizza like at home in Italy has to be good. And it truly was; what a delicious pizza. You can see your pizza going into the wood-fired oven, and the crust is so wonderfully thin and crispy. A real experience. Even many Italians come here, so it's not necessarily a tourist trap. Everyone was super friendly and appreciates it if you make an effort to speak Italian.

07/08/2025: Looking for a place to enjoy a genuine and affordable lunch, we were drawn to this place in the historic center of Volterra. The staff were truly welcoming and...just like us, they're from Turin! The piadinas are excellent, made with quality ingredients, in an atmosphere that blends Tuscan tradition with a Piedmontese touch: we felt right at home. Highly recommended!

13/08/2025: A trattoria outside the city center that exceeded our expectations. A well-maintained place offering warm service and a moderate portion of well-prepared dishes, not touristy (finally!) but consistent with the restaurant's game-based theme. The pappardelle are excellent, and if available, I recommend the wood pigeon sauce because I think it's the best in the area.

26/08/2025: We came here for lunch and absolutely loved it! The setting is beautiful, with both indoor and outdoor seating to choose from. The homemade pasta was fresh, flavorful, and served in just the right portion. That worked out perfectly, because we had to try the desserts. They were the highlight: creamy, indulgent, and full of flavor, truly a little taste explosion to end our meal. A fantastic lunch or dining spot.

06/08/2025: A restaurant in the center of Volterra with friendly staff and excellent food. We ordered a sharing platter as an appetizer and two pasta dishes as a main course, and they certainly lived up to our expectations! The staff were very professional and friendly, especially the owner, whose warmth made us feel at home. Highly recommended!

06/08/2025: This restaurant is definitely worth stopping at if you're in Volterra. Quality food at a fair price. What surprised me was the atmosphere inside: sunny and welcoming, with the owner always on top of things, extremely friendly and polite despite a few, let's say, "special" customers. We had a small inconvenience on the way out; the waitresses cleared the table before we'd completely finished our lunch. The owner apologized repeatedly, taking the time (and the bitter taste 😂) to help me, even though customers were literally "flooding" into the restaurant at that moment. A much-appreciated gesture. Coffee was offered before the inconvenience. What can I say, chapeau 👍🏻

20/08/2025: We went to the restaurant. Excellent. We had an egg with truffle (which I didn't have time to take a photo of because it was too tempting) and some very good wild boar pici. Parking at the back of the building is a bit hidden, but appreciated. Friendly staff.

18/08/2025: Near the historic city of Volterra, this family-run hotel and restaurant is an old farmhouse renovated to make it comfortable and pleasant to look at, perfectly fitting into the Tuscan countryside. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and spacious, with large bathrooms, air conditioning, and TVs. The restaurant offers traditional dishes expertly prepared by the owners, who also make homemade pasta. All this makes the old mill the ideal place to rest and enjoy a delicious meal while visiting Volterra and other magnificent towns in the area.

04/07/2025: I couldn't understand how it could have 4.5 reviews, then I thought about the type of clientele....as far as I'm concerned it's a tavern that should be closed first of all for hygiene reasons in all respects, then the terrible food, I won't go any further

28/06/2025: Take your time to visit this bar. They are incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to mixing both tasty and beautiful drinks. Nice outdoor seating and very friendly staff. Dogs are allowed.

27/08/2025: We went there for dinner without a reservation. The welcome was pleasant, and the food arrived quickly. From that point on, things went awry. There were bone fragments in the lasagna. We pointed this out to the waitress, and she explained that this was normal, as the ragù is made with rabbit, and some rabbit bones are too small to remove. There was no mention of this on the menu, and there was no information about it when ordering. We finished eating after the waitress informed us... because fishing bones out of your mouth isn't really nice. The table wasn't cleared, and at some point I asked for the bill. It arrived, and the plates were still on the table. When a second waiter saw this, a minor argument broke out between the waiters, and we weren't spoken to in a friendly manner again. We were glad when we finally left the place. It was a shame, because the atmosphere was very inviting and promising. Maybe it was just the wrong day.

An enchanting, well-kept place, immersed in nature—a true corner of paradise. The staff was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive to every detail. We ate divinely: every dish was an explosion of authentic flavors, abundant, and prepared with love and tradition. We couldn't have asked for a better way to end our vacation: it was the perfect culmination of already wonderful days. We will definitely be back and recommend it wholeheartedly. Thank you so much! ❤️

19/08/2025: We found this wonderful agriturismo with rooms and a kitchen. We were greeted by Mr. Luigi with warmth and professionalism. The food was excellent, and you can purchase their products at reasonable prices. We'll definitely be back.
