15/05/2025: Very good panini, the best we ate in Tuscany. It is worth choosing focaccia instead of bread, it is delicious. We ate with porchetta and with truffles, both very tasty. You can choose additions to each sandwich such as mushrooms, dried tomatoes, caramelized onion or other vegetables. Helpful service

13/05/2025: Hemos estado en Volterra un par de veces. Vi este lugar antes, pero siempre había una cola enorme. Una buena señal, pero nunca tuvimos tiempo. Hasta este año. Sigue siendo una línea, pero no está tan mal... así que lo intentamos. Y los Panini - recién hechos - son algunos de los mejores que he probado. Pan fresco de alta calidad. Con coberturas generosas de su elección. Teníamos uno con un poco de cebolla y una buena carga de Porchetta. Muy bien cocinado, bien condimentado. La otra la cubrimos con una gran cantidad de Prosciutto crudo, champiñones y una crema de peperoni. Una fantástica combinación y explosión de sabores. Es realmente un lugar fantástico para comer algo. Gran relación calidad-precio, lo mejor para disfrutar en el mirador de la Piazza Martiri Liberta - con vistas a la Toscana. No hay nada mejor que eso.

07/05/2025: A pleasant discovery! This place really surprised me in a positive way. Not the usual vegetarian restaurant with only hummus and salads. With an eye on innovation they managed to maintain characteristic flavors of Italian cuisine, simple, tasty but not banal. Highly recommended!!!

04/05/2025: Vegan restaurant in the center of Volterra with options for all tastes (from first and second courses to pizza), excellent quality of raw materials and well-studied and balanced preparations. My partner is not a big fan of plant based cuisine, yet he really enjoyed it, neither of us are vegan but I also happily eat vegan and I found it truly exceptional. Adequately fast and super friendly service. The setting is very suggestive as the restaurant stands above an Etruscan well discovered during works and which can be admired from the glass floor.

27/04/2025: excellent drinks, we wanted to try the special drinks on the advice of the innkeeper (really a quick choice) but the classics are also present. Engaging service, thanks to explanations that reveal all the owner's passion. The excellent bruschettas that we asked to accompany the drinks were also highly appreciated. Last very positive note: the price is absolutely adequate!

11/05/2025: We ate pizza which is their specialty. She was really good. The taste is completely different than we ate in other places. They have their own recipe for the dough and use a different cheese, but the combination of it all is really good. I didn't take a photo, but it's worth seeing what the older man's baking process looks like - everything is worth recommending

20/05/2025: Excellent place to eat if you're visiting Volterra! The service is spectacular and the food delicious! The pasta with ragu and risotto are delicious, and the chocolate cake is moist! We highly recommend it!

10/05/2025: Trattoria tipica alle porte del centro, tovaglia a quadri rosso e bianchi e cucina tipica. Siamo stati accorti calorosamente, ci è stato esposto il menu e i fuori menù (che sono un secondo menù, top). Porzioni giuste e cibo genuino e gustoso. Abbiamo preso pasta fresca con sugo al colombaccio, casarecce verdure salsiccia e pecorino. Di secondo lampredotto con verdure in agrodolce e zuppo di stoccafisso e cipolle. Prezzo giusto. Siamo stati bene. Consigliato.

01/06/2025: With great regret and disappointment this is clearly a tourist trap, the nature and the structure itself are nothing short of spectacular, expectations were quite high.... but nothing more. Moldy bread, tomato on the bruschetta clearly of poor quality. Luckily we limited ourselves to the appetizer. Foreigners may eat those things, but considering where you are and the products you may have available you really tried hard to ruin everything. Tuscany and Tuscan food are among the best in Italy, do not tarnish the good name of Italian delicacies. See you never again

05/05/2025: A beautiful experience in a typical Tuscan tavern. Giampaolo, the owner, a friendly and easy-going man, personally welcomed us. He then accompanied us in ordering, explaining his dishes in a friendly way. The food was high quality, the homemade first courses were spectacular and the Florentine steak was also excellent, especially for the quality/price ratio. Very familiar atmosphere and excellent cuisine, I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a good time and a meal with a smile.

05/05/2025: We had to wait 10 minutes but it was worth waiting. Excellent food, good wines. Friendly service.

21/05/2025: On the way to Volterra we visited a pizzeria. We sat in the garden. We were served by a very nice and smiling lady. She took excellent care of us and our dog. The pizza was delicious!! The lady gave us a taste of homemade bread with olive oil. Also delicious. We didn't have Dolce, but we did have excellent coffee. The pizzeria also includes a hotel. Warm regards❤️

20/04/2025: The accommodation was in an unbeatable location, with spectacular views. The treatment received by the staff was very good, offering us the possibility of breakfast even on the day the restaurant was closed. Dinner in the restaurant was also great, in a family and relaxed atmosphere.

15/02/2025: We have only been in Tuscany and were looking for a new place to visit on the first sunny day, so we chose Volterra. Among the various proposals for places in the area, however, we almost immediately chose the Santa Vittoria farmhouse based on the directions found on the internet and made a reservation. The place is enchanting, a typically Tuscan farmhouse overlooking an infinite expanse of greenery all around. The dishes, from first to last, worthy of an acclaimed encore with lots of praise, all accompanied by an attentive, kind and above all smiling staff. In short, the place undoubtedly deserves "our encore" because we had a great time and it's always worth returning to where you feel good. Congratulations to all.

05/04/2025: We had a nice time here, with the people of Volterra accustomed to the very characteristic place (and also some tourists like us!!) Wine of your choice, house wine. Very friendly welcome, moderate prices and different original alcoholic strengths from 17° to 40°... ..perhaps that's why there are bras everywhere!!

25/11/2024: Sono stato con dei colleghi (eravamo in 6) a cena. Oltre dei primi abbiamo ordinato un antipasto di salumi e un patè di fegato da mettere in centro tavola giusto per assaggiare. Quando arriva l' antipasto ci rendiamo subito conto che evidentemente la cameriera aveva capito male portandoci antipasti per 6 persone. Allorché ribadiamo subito che avevamo ordinato solo un antipasto , la cameriera, gentilissima ci dice che ne andava a parlare col titolare. Dopo pochi minuti arriva un altro cameriere, che gentilmente ci dice di non preoccuparci, che è stato un errore loro, che potevamo mangiare quello che volevamo e che comunque avremmo pagato solo quello che avevamo ordinato. A fine cena quando ci rechiamo alla cassa per pagare, troviamo la sorpresa. Nel conto vengono conteggiati 6 antipasti. Un mio collega tranquillamente prova a spiegare al signore che era in cassa (molto probabilmente il titolare) che c'è un errore. Non l' avesse mai fatto.. è stato aggredito verbalmente con urla e toni veramente allucinanti, dicendogli che se non voleva pagare poteva anche togliersi dai co.....ni. Praticamente non ha voluto minimamente ascoltare quello che il mio collega stava cercando di dirgli pacatamente, invitandolo a lasciare il locale perché lui i suoi soldi non li voleva. Subito dopo mentre pagavo senza discutere , ho riprovato anch'io a dirgli che forse c'era stata un' incomprensione e che forse valeva la pena ascoltare se non noi, almeno il cameriere che gentilmente ci aveva detto che era stato un loro errore. Ma niente da fare, ha ricominciato a sbraitare. A quel punto abbiamo pagato e ce ne siamo andati raggiungendo il nostro collega che era stato allontanato. La cosa che più mi ha lasciato perplesso è un cartello fuori dal locale dove specifica di essere un locale antifascista e antirazzista. Beh, visto l' aggressione subita, farebbe meglio a toglierlo.

13/10/2024: Ultimo giorno di vacanza. Ultima tappa prima di mettersi in strada Volterra, già visitata in passato ma in una brutta giornata. Arrivati quasi a mezzogiorno la fame si è fatta sentire e abbiamo cercato subito un posto che ispirava. Un po’ fuori dal centro, ma neppure tanto, abbiamo letto il menù di questo locale e siamo entrati. Bel posticino tranquillo e pulito, servizio sufficientemente rapido. Una pasta tipica del locale e un piatto di pici e come al solito tagliere di affettati per chiudere. Al posto del vino ovviamente due ottime birrette

13/10/2024: We were welcomed by a very pleasant person. The quality cuisine is homemade. Beer is also brewed in house. The terrace on the Place du XX Septembre is typical and simply makes you want to come back. Don't hesitate if you pass by.
