I migliori ristoranti in Lucca

08/02/2025: Difficile trovare le parole per descrivere il Ristorante Puccini, probabilmente dovrei inventare qualche neologismo… Non conoscevo questo locale, l’ho incontrato casualmente in una ricerca internet e mi ha da subito intrigato. In realtà non si è trattato di una cena… direi è stata più una serata in cui, con la mia compagna, siamo andati a trovare la dolce signora Rossella, la quale ci ha coccolato tutta la sera, col tepore del caminetto a fare da sfondo ad una serie di piatti belli a vedersi ed altrettanto gustosi al palato. Abbiamo scelto il menù degustazione, e direi che ci abbiamo preso, perché ci ha consentito di provare una serie di portate uniche, unite da raffinatezza, scelta accurata di ingredienti locali, equilibrio nei gusti ed abbinamenti mai fuori luogo. La bottiglia di bourdeaux consigliataci dalla signora Rossella (ottima sommelier) è stata la ciliegina su una torta già perfetta. Per non dilungarmi troppo evito di citare l’assoluta attenzione nei particolari, la location incredibile, l’atmosfera che, vuoi per la vicinanza col museo Puccini, vuoi per la storicità dell’edificio, si respira da quando si apre la porta del locale fin quando, pienamente soddisfatti, se ne esce. Un grazie di cuore alla signora Rossella e a suo marito, chef dalle mani d’oro.

22/06/2025: We are a family of four, including two very young children. During our vacation, we stopped several times to get fresh pasta takeout with various sauces. The food was always divine! You can buy both the pasta and the sauce separately so you can make them at home, or they can make them for you. Plus, the quality/price ratio is excellent! The owner was always incredibly kind and helpful. When we return to the area, we'll definitely be back!

21/06/2025: If I could, I'd give it 10 stars. Unbeatable value for money, as is the helpfulness of the lady. Very good pasta, but the sauces are beyond.

21/11/2025: Exceptional service and kindness. Excellent desserts. All the bread is delicious. The pizzas and focaccias are amazing. It's a shame they don't make brioches anymore; they were fabulous. We're crying out for them again. I buy bread and focaccia, bring them home, and freeze them in San Candido, where I live. I only use their bread. The milk rolls, which I fill with jam, are exceptional. Once frozen, they taste like they were freshly baked. Sliced ​​into 4 slices, then toasted, they're always fabulous with jam. The "SCIOCCO" bread is unparalleled. A new experience: PANETTONE and more. Are you looking for authentic flavors and aromas? I've always eaten bland food, so I have a particularly sensitive palate that allows me to taste and smell different flavors. If I, who have very little time, dedicate time to writing reviews, it means they truly deserve it. The bread, schiacciata, and pizzas are excellent. I travel a lot and buy Neapolitan pizzas from the oven, keeping them on the dashboard to warm up. Aside from the intoxicating aroma that fills the cabin, the piping hot pizzas reveal their aromas and flavors. They recently started serving Sicilian arancini. Exceptional. Let's talk about the Sicilian cannoli, made to order. But the best, the one that catapults them to the Olympus of flavors with an unbeatable level, is the panettone. The aroma, the flavors, and the ingredients are of the highest quality. The candied fruit and raisins it contains create a harmony of flavors and aromas unique in this dessert. I live where the bakeries make excellent panettone, but this is on another level, something else entirely. I'm passionate about cooking and a true gourmet; I challenge anyone to disagree. 19/01/2024: bel ambiente. menu del giorno detto a voce. abbiamo scelto un "Minestrono" poi il secondo non eravamo decisi poi la signorina ci ha detto o un piatto unico frittura di pesce. Dunque abbiamo scelto la frittura di pesce. Ma è arrivato il " Minestrone" non abbiamo capito niente la signorina era già ripartita. piatto meno della metà e tanto liquido, verdure nessun sapore, con 2 fette di pane dentro che hanno assorbito il liquido. Poi è arrivata la frittura di pesce 1 porzione e la depositata al mio marito. e la cosa e finita lì........messo il piatto nel mezzo ciascuno ha mangiato un pò. la fritture era abbastanza buona ( congelato i totani erano molto duri da tagliare al coltello). Il caffè è arrivato dopo esattamente 17 minuti. Costo 26 euro. Arrivati a casa ci siamo rimessi al tavolo. Non ci si ritorna alla Pollastra!!!!

25/11/2023: Cena 100% di pesce, su cui il ristorante ha puntato tutto. Scelta originale e coraggiosa vista l’ubicazione. Comunque una cena soddisfacente sia negli antipasti che secondi piatti, discreti per qualità e molto abbondanti. Il prezzo è ottimo.

20/07/2025: If you evaluate a business without making any preambles, sometimes you would give 5 stars for one thing and for others maybe less, but here the evaluation is global, rustic place with a lot of objects, outdoor tables under a series of different covers, a kind of puzzle, parking in the middle of a meadow, picturesque manager who creates the right recipe for a pleasant and typically traditional trattoria environment, a noteworthy pizza with dough based on corn flour, exclusively eight rows, a native Garfagnana quality, very digestible, worth a detour
