One of the most beautiful and authentic "hidden" gems in Piazza San Michele in Lucca! The building is simply gorgeous, with one of the most photographed and flowered medieval balconies I've ever seen. Although we found it closed due to the midday siesta (riposo), its architecture alone takes you back in time. It's definitely worth a stop to admire the facade and take photos away from the hustle and bustle of tourists. A wonderful, picturesque corner that perfectly complements the magic of the city!
This was amazing. It was in the middle of the city Centre but the prices where great ! The food and the drinks where really Nice. My husband spilled his drink and hé got a wine from the house. The service was really good :) we would certainly recommend this place!
Great spot right in front of Duomo di San Martino. The drinks were excellent and the service was friendly and attentive. Perfect place to sit back, soak in the atmosphere, and enjoy the heart of Lucca. Would highly recommend!

11/05/2024: Wir waren für eine Woche hier in der Unterkunft. Alles war sehr sauber und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Es empfiehlt sich das Frühstück zu nehmen. Jeden Tag war es anders und für zehn Euro pro Person echt günstig. Die Qualität war sehr gut. Auch das Abendessen haben wir dreimal mitgemacht. Hier sollte man auf jeden Fall den Pizza Abend mitnehmen. Sehr lecker. Übrigens bei der Antipasti Vorspeise nicht wundern, wenn immer wieder nachgebracht wird. Gefühlt haben es kein Ende. Und alles war sehr lecker. Vielen Dank an das gesamte Team. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Einzige Einschränkung ist sehr kurvige und enge Weg hoch zur Unterkunft. Als ungeübte Bergfahrer stockt einem hier schon mal häufiger der Atem. Es empfiehlt sich die Straße vorher einmal auf Google Earth zu betrachten.
