12/08/2025: You can smell the experience of an old-fashioned trattoria, excellent dishes, cooked with care, excellent prices considering the quality/price ratio, friendly staff, recommended for a lunch break with an authentic flavour.

07/08/2025: Wonderful! Excellent food, cooked with love and skill, and of the highest quality. The owner is always attentive to her guests' needs, as is her husband at reception and at the bar. The service is professional.

30/06/2025: After a while that I had lost the habit of going to this restaurant, tonight there was the opportunity thanks to Google, searching for "restaurants open on Monday". In the Osteria del Contadino I found the quality that I remembered: we had the farmer's appetizer and the tagliata, everything really excellent. A round of applause for the service, attentive and courteous. The portions are abundant, the quality excellent and the quality-price ratio very good. We will definitely return, I highly recommend it!

21/08/2025: Excellent food considering it's a sandwich shop. The selection is large and the staff are friendly. The only downside is the wait, especially at dinner. The quality and price are good. Super recommended.

29/06/2025: Pizza not very topped and overcooked, service a little slow. I expected something more given the reviews. Clean place but the presence of the cat made me think. He moved from one table to another in an unhygienic way. Good job the tall guy who took the orders. Homemade desserts that are not homemade but clearly industrial.

24/08/2025: I've been frequenting this restaurant in Marina di Cecina for years now, both summer and winter. You'll find all the classic Tuscan dishes, but if you go to Barracuda, you're going for the select, high-quality meat. Just put yourself in the hands of the "boss," who opens his aging notebook and can give you the right advice.

01/08/2025: Uno dei ristoranti migliori di Marciana Marina. Siamo stati in questo ristorante per cena, avendo prenotato con largo anticipo, per fortuna, visto l’afflusso notevole di clienti. Abbiamo mangiato due primi dal sapore ottimo e i gamberoni cotti sulla griglia strepitosi. Dolci di alto livello. Nota di merito alla loro torta di mele con gelato al fior di latte ( non è così scontato trovare dolci ben fatti ). Location molto suggestiva, servizio veloce e professionale. Prezzi in linea con la qualità dei piatti . Consigliatissimo!!!

31/07/2025: A lovely little family restaurant. We chose to have two courses for €22 and not the daily menu because, "rightly," the one we were interested in had sold out. But we were satisfied anyway. We varied a bit. I had: The peppered mussels "very good and fragrant." And the pacchero with octopus ragù "exceptional, perfectly cooked." The others had a pici cacio e pepe "good, nothing to complain about, it was perfect, but if you really don't want fish." A seafood fantasy "a selection of delicious little items." Stuffed mussels "good 🤤" And the cod Livorno style "SPECTACULAR."

11/08/2025: What can I say? We passed by chance and returned for three consecutive evenings trying everything that was written on the menu. We started with a tagliata then the first courses and finished with the pizza. Excellent truffle.. on the tagliolini ♥️❤️

17/07/2025: A wonderful experience! We ended up there somewhat by chance, but this time, chance was right! Top service, unforgettable cuisine. Absolutely reasonable price. I'll definitely be back! The first course, spaghetti with garlic, oil, and chili pepper and sea urchins, was truly spectacular. As Bastianich would say, it's very foodish; I'll have a hard time getting it out of my head!

13/08/2025: A fantastic little spot for a hearty aperitivo or a light, tasty dinner. The menu is interesting, with a few dishes and portions (and prices) to match. Everything we tried was fantastic, starting with the ceviche, but also the "Chianti tuna" (which isn't tuna...). A wide selection of wines, including some excellent refermented wines (the Austrian "Epic" was truly epic). The staff is young, but knowledgeable and friendly, and the service is impeccable, with perfect timing and a few hints about the dishes. The outdoor terrace is lovely, but the place never loses its originality inside either. To finish, we were offered two excellent (and plentiful!) artisanal liqueurs. We returned after three days and hope to return again!
