29/12/2023: Aperol 0.2l with ice cubes for 7 euros in the off season is too much. This is going better as you can read in the previous recession. Sorry, but location isn't everything. Service was good, hence 2 stars

30/09/2023: Just perfect. Everything. The service, the friendly atmosphere behind and in front of the counter. The coffee anyway. And the brioche… heavenly. After that, we couldn't order a cornetto in a bar anywhere in the morning because nothing comes close to the quality of the brioche homemade at Bar la Perla. Italy tastes so wonderfully light in the morning.

04/11/2023: We ate 4 dinners in a row... The food is good, but we have eaten better in other restaurants

26/11/2023: Good food, right portion but you have to add the laundry and hairdresser for the girls to the bill it seems like we've been in the kitchen preparing all the dishes for a long time we smell like food

23/09/2023: Excellent and quality food... Friendly and helpful managers and staff. We ate swordfish and mixed fried fish with homemade dessert. All very good.... We will be back to eat pizza!!! Here I am!!! Came back after 2 days to eat pizza on the cutting board..... Fantastic!!!! Thin and crunchy pizza, delicious... Highly recommended.... See you soon!!!!

31/03/2024: .. AVOID...I went there for Easter to eat with family and friends... I'll start by saying that I go there at least 1 if not 2 times a year but this year I've completely lost my mind... oh yes a restaurant that wants that level must always maintain it because the customer is looking for that quality for those prices. Having waited since we ordered at 1pm, we ate the starters at 1.45pm and on our friend's raw plate there was a nice black hair, it was pointed out, the plate was replaced however the restaurateur pointed out that no one in the kitchen has black hair... .bad statement in my opinion because the waitress had black hair and our friend had brown hair..... However the seconds arrived at 2.45pm after others after we had been there for almost 2 hours. The courses were cold, my tuna was cooked and rushed in, the vegetable garnish thrown there to make the dish come out of the hard kitchen, tasteless and badly cooked, all untied.... the rice with squid ink covered by lemon, also cold the monkfish with sweetbreads and unlikely the other diner's pasta with a crudité thrown on top, tasteless and cold... inevitable... leaving everything on the plate. We didn't take desserts so as not to finish them in the afternoon. Another sore point, the dishes of the neighboring tables arrived before us who had ordered much earlier than the others. I do not allow any inefficiency if I pay 300 euros in 5 ... (NB 10 euro discount for the hair mix-up.) I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT AND I AM SO DISAPPOINTED AS AN OLD CUSTOMER WHO CAN REALLY SAY in the review where the quality was when it was there. While now THERE IS NOTHING BUT THE HIGH PRICE AND the name. ATTENTION...

20/10/2023: Great place - loved the service. A little more chic restaurant. And we had the chance to speak to the chef, who in addition to being very friendly, approachable, smiling, comes from the same country as us. We really appreciated that he took the time to explain the menu to us. And quite honestly his food is really really excellent. I recommend this place without hesitation and I wish this establishment great success 👍🏽 thank you chef and good luck 👍🏽👍🏽

03/10/2023: Spaghetti was very good. The salad mediocre. The meat is of poor quality and presented very carelessly on a plate.

01/10/2023: Attirati da un'atmosfera molto caratteristica del locale, abbiamo scelto di mangiare piatti di pesce. Dopo aver aspettato mezz'ora solo per ordinare, abbiamo preso un antipasto e due primi, tutti pessimi. La pasta al granchio blu era, di fatto, una pasta in bianco secca con due chele sopra. La zuppa di crostacei consisteva in pane raffermo, qualche crostaceo (e le immancabili chele di granchio). Anche in questo caso il tutto era estremamente secco, vista l'assenza del brodo, elemento essenziale in una zuppa. Mezzo litro di vino e mezzo litro di acqua per un totale di 60 €.

30/09/2023: Great ambience with a view of the sea Very good tuna tartare Spaghettoni alla Salvia e Bottarga okay The main course a bust; Instead of local fish fillet with vegetables, we received fried swordfish with a few strips of lettuce and tomatoes. We like to eat fried seafood or fish. This dish consisted of a lot of breading and minimal fish. Our complaint was noted with regret. According to the waiter, compensation should come through dessert. The Quasi Tiramisu was excellent, but all items were completely included in the high bill. Amends? That was the only and hopefully last culinary failure on our Elba trip so far
