07/06/2025: Con il nostro centro diurno dalla provincia di Torino, siamo stati in soggiorno nei pressi di Piombino e abbiamo avuto il piacere di cenare da Balestra. La location è accogliente, curata nei dettagli e perfetta per trascorrere una serata in tranquillità. Il cibo è ottimo, preparato con attenzione e ingredienti di qualità. Una nota speciale va al signor Marco, che ci ha accolti con simpatia e disponibilità, facendoci sentire davvero i benvenuti. Un’esperienza molto positiva che consigliamo con piacere!

09/05/2025: Nice ambient and friendly staff, but the food was not the best. We ordered lobster pasta and ragu. The lobster pasta was good, but full of shell pieces, while the ragu was awfully salty.

04/06/2025: Small tavern in the central area that captures you with the atmosphere that it manages to transmit to you even before entering. The menu card is not very extensive but I found this to be an indicator of freshness. Friendly service, some small mistakes were made with my vegetarian wife but all in all we took it in a sporting way understanding that there was no willfulness. I really appreciated the fact that they allowed me to drink a white wine by the glass that was not provided for in the mix and the variation to the first course with vegetables. Excellent quality of ingredients. Price valid for what was consumed.

11/05/2025: Posto fantastico, si trova a San Piero con la bella stagione è possibile mangiare fuori in una bellissima terrazza. Nel menù ci sono sia piatti di mare che di terra e la pizza. Noi abbiamo mangiato il pesce che era davvero di qualità! Una menzione speciale per il tonno che era divino! Ottimo anche i dolci. Personale preparato e gentile. 25/05/2025: Absolutely exceptional. Every dish—from the antipasti to the second plate and the desserts is prepared with incredible originality and the highest quality ingredients. The flavours are just amazing. It’s hands down my favourite restaurant in all of Tuscany. We make sure to come back every time we’re in the area, and it never disappoints. A true gem.

Cibo buono, cortesia e accoglienza del personale e location veramente carina. Alla prima occasione sicuramente torneremo 🤗

23/05/2025: Superlative! I haven't eaten so well in a restaurant in years! Simple and homely atmosphere, super welcoming and well-kept! The girls serving always smiling, attentive to every need and fast enough to not make you wait too long but not to feel rushed or under pressure either. Dishes of unique goodness, the quality of the raw materials can be perceived from the appetizer to the dessert! An impeccable quality that is worth all the money spent, which is perfectly in line with the overall experience. It has become one of my favorite restaurants in Livorno and the surrounding area! Very good!

Very varied menu, in particular I appreciated that in addition to fried food there are also many non-fried second courses, such as the excellent stuffed calamari. It is located near the market, it has about twenty tables both inside and outside, it also does take-away service. Modest prices, highly recommended.
