17/06/2026: A great evening with a great group of friends. We did the pizza tour with drinks included. The pizza was excellent; they accommodated all our requests. I recommend it and will be back soon. My son also really enjoyed the pizzas and the service.

07/07/2026: Our new favorite place in Piombino! Excellent food, large (and especially impressive) and super friendly staff, and a lovely atmosphere. The wines are limited, but of excellent quality. We especially enjoyed the appetizers, the classic peppered mussels and anchovies, and the seafood risotto. A well-deserved 5 stars.

03/07/2026: Talking about "da Gianni" is easy, even if it risks being reductive. Besides the exceptional and generous portions, several other key aspects must be added (at least in my opinion), first and foremost the service: there are professionals who make guests feel at home, taking care of them and creating a harmonious environment you never want to leave. And then there's Andrea; his anecdotes about the restaurant's family roots are touching, and his stories about his life are laugh-out-loudly tear-inducing. In short, when you go "da Gianni," you already know you'll have a fun evening eating fantastic food straight from the sea.

16/12/2025: We had a Florentine steak, a delight! I've never had such tender and flavorful meat, accompanied by baked potatoes and artichokes—nothing to say except that they were exquisite. Not to mention the desserts, delicious. Even though the place is small, we had our privacy. The owner was friendly and kind. We'll definitely be back! Highly recommended!

26/11/2025: LUCIDO HAS ITS VALUE! (and its price) Dinner for 2 friends, wanting to relax, and excellent food: and we succeeded! ATMOSPHERE Welcoming, well-prepared, very intimate, with very few tables (maybe 5/7 in total, I think). Perfect for listening to the flavors rather than your neighbors (as often happens, unfortunately!). Small and quiet. FOOD Normal appetizers, at least the crostini, but good quantity. Truly EXCELLENT meat, and prepared with Exceptional Love. PURE RAW MATERIALS, DEDICATION, AND PREPARATION. FINISHING: DESSERTS + LIQUORS Good portion and presentation, average. Mixed liquor tastings: DIVINE Superior quality products, even in the spirits. Moreover, expertly explained to fully appreciate them. WINE The selection by the glass isn't huge, but that's fine. What I think could be improved are the prices per glass. €7, €8, and even €18 for a glass seem excessive for someone who wants to have just one glass! DETAILS TO KNOW (and appreciate) 1. Serve the (empty) plates by cleaning them elegantly beforehand; I've only seen that in movies. 2. A meat thermometer: Another Pro. 3. Letting the empty plate on which you serve the meat sit on the stone fireplace, so that it retains as much heat as possible, seemed exceptional to me. The "red" lamp is common, but "warming the plate" to avoid a thermal shock seems like a detail not appreciated by many. 4. For the first time in history, when I asked for just 1 glass of wine, they left the (unopened) bottle of the corresponding wine on the table so I could actually see what I was enjoying... It's never happened to me! I rarely drink just 1 glass, it's true! ; ) 5. Absolute transparency when choosing to pay in cash or with card: that is, no fuss or discounts. The price is there, period. And I think it's fair. SUMMARY: That's all that happened... And if you've read this far, I'm sure you'll come prepared. It seems clear to me that this isn't a place for birthday parties with large tables, or for young people wanting to party. But finally, it's a SPACE FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO FEEL GOOD AND ENJOY THEIR QUALITY, WELL-PREPARED FOOD. Of course, with the associated prices, it's always good to be aware of that! ENJOY !

Absolutely perfect fish, delicious, excellent service!! To be repeated without hesitation! 07/07/2026: We found this place thanks to the excellent reviews on Google Maps, and we can only confirm them. We ordered two first courses (spaghetti with clams, lupini beans, and red tuna bottarga, and spaghetti allo scoglio) and a second course (peppered mussels with tomato sauce). Everything was truly excellent. The prices are average for the island; for two, we spent about €60. Otherwise, the splendid location was the perfect complement to our dinner.

21/02/2026: A top-notch pizzeria. A tidy place with a relaxing atmosphere, a spacious back patio, and pizzas made with five different doughs, all available—and for that alone, it's truly outstanding. My partner and I tried two different doughs and two different pizzas (vegan with charcoal dough, and cooked with mushrooms and spicy salami with chia and seed dough). Both pizzas were exceptionally well-balanced, with top-quality ingredients, generous toppings, and perfectly cooked. The crust alone could be a superb schiacciata: flavorful, with just the right consistency, alternating crispiness and elasticity. In short, everything was truly perfect. I wanted to post a photo of the pizza, but by the time I remembered I had to make it, I'd already finished it... Congratulations, well done!

07/07/2026: Located in the heart of the market, this restaurant is very pleasant, with a central, air-conditioned dining room and counters along the aisle. The service is quick and efficient, everyone speaks at least English, and the staff is very friendly. I tried the zuppetta (octopus soup on croutons with spicy tomato sauce—delicious!). The wine selection is also excellent! If you're in Livorno, stop by for lunch!

01/06/2026: We were wandering aimlessly around the main square in Vada: dirty street corners, drab shops, a run-down atmosphere... then a friend saw this cute little place and said, "Let's go there." Thank goodness she said so!!! They offer imaginative cocktails, really good, and delicious tapas-style aperitivo food. I recommend the zonzelle, fried vegetables, and cod bites... I stopped eating because I was full, but it would have been nice to try so much more! Well done! Clean, well-kept place, excellent food and drinks, very friendly service. When I return to Vada, I'll definitely stop here.
