18/05/2025: Un’ottima cucina con prodotti genuini e cotti a regola d’arte, le porzioni erano abbondanti, sia l’antipasto che i primi. Il servizio era gentile e accogliente, siamo stati veramente bene. Il mio compagno che stava poco bene ha dovuto limitare la cena a una linguina in bianco, siamo rimasti piacevolmente sorpresi quando al suo arrivo abbiamo visto che era stata mantecata con cura con olio e grana, davvero una coccola.
13/05/2025: Ci siamo imbattuti in questo piccolo locale passeggiando per la via del centro. Ciò che ci ha attirato è stato il menu: differente rispetto alle altre proposte con abbinamenti originari e interessanti. Nulla di cui lamentarsi: ottimo gli antipasti, i primi e i secondi. Buonissimi i calamari ripieni da antipasto. Ottima la zuppetta di pesce: quantità di pesce abbondante e varia, giusto tocco di peperoncino. Molto buoni anche i primi piatti: pacchetti carciofi e totano, spaghetti cacio e pepe con tartare di gambero. Personale disponibile e cortese. Lo consiglieri senza dubbio ad un amico !

03/06/2025: If you have to choose only one restaurant around here to eat from choose Sugo!!! We stayed in Livorno for a month in this Venice district and found Sugo to be the most precious gem of a place. The food is fresh, unpretentious and amazing in taste. Everyone is friendly like a neighborhood vibe. A little sad when we have to say goodbye to Livorno!
19/05/2025: Judgment nì... Nothing special, I expected much more since it had been recommended to me by Livorno natives and I had read very positive reviews. We ordered a mixed fish appetizer, good but rather common. Penne with scampi were good, fish balls were very good. Then we ordered the octopus cacciuccato which never arrived... They had got confused and it was no longer available. So we settled for tuna tartare and prawns in a stew, which in my opinion were defrosted. The setting was nice but extremely small and the service was too poor. The owners were nice but the service was slow, especially in clearing the table of finished dishes. In short, good but nothing special. Too bad, maybe the octopus would have given it one more star, who knows...

10/06/2025: Wir haben marinierten Baccala und Salat als Vorspeise gegessen und dann eine wunderbare Pizza als Hauptgang. Auf Anfrage gab es auch eine fantastische glutenfreie Focaccia mit Mozzarella und Tomaten, was uns sehr gefreut hat. Das Servicepersonal ist sehr zuvorkommenden und kompetent und die Weinauswahl ist groß. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

15/05/2025: We were waiting from 20:00 until 20:30 in front of the restaurant but it stayed closed. We were really disappointed that there wasn’t any notice of it being closed on that day!! Not coming back.
14/05/2025: We were at Osteria Il Sigillo with a large group: 18 adults and 9 children. From the moment we were welcomed we felt pampered and well looked after. The staff was incredibly friendly, helpful and attentive to everyone's needs, including the little ones. The menu was able to please every palate: tasty and well-prepared dishes for omnivores, but also excellent vegetarian options, prepared with fresh and quality ingredients. From starters to desserts, every course was a success. The children were happy with their dedicated portions and the space was perfect to allow them to move around peacefully. A special thanks to the staff for the impeccable management of such a large group: right timing, smiles and great professionalism. Highly recommended for dinners with friends, families and large groups!
