15/09/2025: If you're looking for simplicity, good value, and above all, kindness, then this is the place for you. I found it by chance for a short cycling holiday and was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is nestled in a charming inland village, away from the hustle and bustle of the coast. The rooms are simply furnished and very clean (if mine had a balcony, it would have been better). Downstairs is the L'Ottavo restaurant, where even on busy days they always found me a table and where I always ate very well! Lastly, the helpfulness and courtesy of Giada and all the staff.

22/09/2025: After two weeks in Tuscany, we had the most delicious pizza tonight. Very friendly service, who also spoke good English. I chose the Diego special pizza. Creamy and delicious. Delicious coffee afterward. Thank you.

08/09/2025: Excellent Neapolitan pizza with traditional Campanian ingredients, such as salami, broccoli rabe, and mozzarella. Easy-to-digest dough and quality ingredients. Quick and friendly service. I recommend Pizza Margot. Three pizzas, water, and beer for €45 total. Reservations recommended on weekends.

09/09/2025: Our dinner was an exceptional experience. The staff was very helpful. All the dishes were prepared excellently and with great originality. And a delicious Chianti to go with it. Fantastic. We went according to the reviews for good food, but it exceeded even our expectations. Definitely worth a visit!

29/09/2025: We found this restaurant by chance while looking for a parking spot, and I have to say it was a lovely discovery. They served us a cacciucco that I'd call extraordinary, both in quality and quantity, accompanied by a red wine recommended by a friendly, perhaps slightly over-tattooed, waiter. Prices were reasonable, considering the excellent service and high-quality food. I recommend it.

22/09/2025: Welcoming place, friendly waiter, albeit a little confused. Good food, fair prices. The only shame was that the Meringue cake was brought to us frozen. Otherwise, I was happy.

01/10/2025: We found this pizzeria online while looking for gluten-free pizzas. The food was fantastic! I've never eaten such good gluten-free pizza! The crust was thin and crispy, simply perfect! I was a bit overwhelmed by the pizza selection; there were some unusual combinations and no familiar "pizza names" to be found. The waitress spoke English and helped us choose. I would go to Piombino again just for this pizzeria.

08/09/2025: We had dinner with friends. The atmosphere was casual, cabin-style, and the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. We asked for a second round of crostini, which arrived promptly and didn't delay the arrival of the main courses. Excellent food, short menu. Decent house wine and excellent desserts. €30 per person. I had the roast pigeon, but the beef fillet was also very good. I'll be back.

07/10/2025: Absolutely fantastic pizza — everything you hope to find in Italy. The dough was light, flavorful, and perfectly baked, with that ideal mix of crisp and soft. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality, and the tomato sauce was rich and full of flavor. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive throughout the meal. Prices were fair, portions generous, and overall it felt like a place made by people who truly care about their food. Easily a five-star experience

25/09/2025: Beautifully situated restaurant, from your table you have a magnificent view over the valley to the sea. The food was delicious. We had typical regional appetizers, salami, cheese, ham, and more, lasagna with fresh asparagus, homemade pasta with ragù (braised for 5 hours), and regional wine. We visited the restaurant a second time, and this time we were delighted by the wine and the food. We had steak tartare, 12-hour-cooked pork, a pasta dish, and ricotta and spinach dumplings with fresh truffles.

15/09/2025: A very nicely located restaurant on the edge of the old town of C. Carducci. Beautiful view of the sea and, if you like, the sunset 🌅 Service was very attentive, the menu is manageable but the dishes are very tasty. In high season, it might be a bit crowded due to the traffic-calmed zone, especially since our two dogs were practically lying on the street... But now in September, the crowds were manageable 😎👍 We would definitely love to come back.

10/10/2025: Had the tasting menu on a family trip to Livorno and it was a highlight of our holiday. The food was all fantastic, each plate was something quite different but all delicious. Service was also brilliant, took the time to explain each dish and the wine it was paired with in English which we really appreciated! Really nice atmosphere too, super chilled and nice decor and bits to look at. Overall 10/10, would definitely recommend!

05/10/2025: The best pizzeria on Elba!! We've been going there for years now. Crispy, filling focaccias, easy-to-digest pizzas, amazing sandwiches, and delicious, plentiful fries. The owners are fantastic: helpful, polite, and welcoming... the lady even brings the pizzas to your table. Fantastic!! I wish there were more like this on the island. If you pass by, you can't help but stop by.
