27/09/2025: If you arrive at 8:00 in the morning or 3:00 in the afternoon, you pay the same beach fee. It almost seems like you're bothering them to make them work. The interior looks like a supermarket with unappealing food on display. Avoid it.

20/09/2025: The place where we sat had ants crawling around the tables, but other than that, I ordered a pizza with sausage. The sausage was full of fennel and the mozzarella was super stringy. The food was good.

09/10/2025: A one-of-a-kind venue, perfect for an aperitif or a drink. You can sit along a staircase leading from the main street in Castellammare's pedestrian area. The tables are small but well-appointed, perfect for the idea of ​​sitting along the stairs. The aperitif includes a platter of cured meats, cheeses, and olives; chips and peanuts are also brought. The price is fair considering the quantity and the location. Highly recommended!

18/01/2026: The pizza is good, and after you order, the service is fast, but beforehand there are senseless waits, confusion, and absolute chaos. You can't talk because of the noise. Space is cramped, waiters and customers are jammed, children are running around, people are queuing at the entrance to get seats, only getting in the way of those already seated and barely making it to the bathroom. Of course, it's always busy, and it's better not to need one. On Saturday evening, takeout is available until 8:30 PM, for sure, because we arrived at that time and people were leaving with pizzas and family members, thus further chaos. Some people complained that even though they sat down early, they were waiting to take their order while others who arrived later were already starting to eat. Significant disorganization. Too bad. I repeat, the pizzas are good, and if the service were managed a little better, it would be a good alternative pizzeria. Mine is a criticism, but at the same time, it's primarily meant as advice. I understand that the business has been around for a while, so you could continue like this regardless of what I'm writing. Feel free to... I haven't been here in a while, and it wasn't like this before. Good luck.

20/09/2025: Located outside the center of Castelvetrano in a residential area, this restaurant is very welcoming, airy, and clean. The staff's kindness is beyond description; as soon as we arrived with our two dogs, they brought us a tub of mineral water. The pizzas we ate were large, tasty, and well-topped. Excellent value. We'll definitely be back.

07/10/2025: Stranded on the island for another day due to rough seas, we decide to eat with Signora Maria at the Hierà restaurant. We read the reviews and looked at photos of the dishes online, but it seems like the most authentic place on the island. It really is!! Beautiful!! The delightful, welcoming, and passionate lady is passionate about her work and her cooking. She takes care of every detail and prepares everything herself. She narrates her dishes and the history of the island through that of her family. It's not your typical restaurant dinner, but a true family welcome! We highly recommend it!!!

12/03/2026: I ordered chicken and fries through Deliveroo. The chicken was cold and dry, probably made the day before or for lunch and reheated in the microwave, inedible. The fries were boiled and half raw. I've read in other reviews that I'm not the only one who had this bad experience.

More than 13 years ago, this ice cream shop was a landmark: the same owner, but there were young people behind the counter who managed it with professionalism, courtesy, and attention. The atmosphere was lively, full of respectful and friendly young people. People went to Minando not just for the ice cream, but for the pleasant atmosphere and the customer service. Today, unfortunately, everything has changed. For years now, the service has been a disaster: the counter staff are rude, incompetent, and unsuitable for their role. The environment is neglected, dirty, and there's a complete lack of respect for those who enter. We returned with friends a month ago, hoping for an improvement... but we were disappointed again. Even the ice cream, once excellent, has become mediocre. It's a real shame to see how a once-brilliant place has fallen so low. Go back to where you came from, from the countryside. Inadequate.
