22/08/2025: I really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere and the kind, helpful staff. I had a coffee and a dessert—it was excellent—and I noticed they also offer a wide selection of appetizers and snacks. The prices are average, and the location is convenient.

03/12/2025: Visited in early December, unfortunately for only one night. A wonderful place in the countryside to stay for one or more days, just 9 minutes from Trapani. Excellent, genuine Sicilian hospitality, humble and honest, not only from Nicky the receptionist but also from the entire team, from the chambermaid to the waiter and the gardener. Not to mention, of course, the owners who are... fantastic and attentive to your well-being. The place is beautiful and open to everyone, whether you're traveling in a campervan or staying at the hotel. There are plenty of shaded or sunny spots, depending on your mood. Several activities are available: tennis, basketball, swimming pool, pétanque, children's play area, and walks within the well-lit grounds. For campervans, it's best to book in advance as there are only 4 or 5 spaces among the olive and orange trees. A proper bathroom, a sink for washing dishes, and an outdoor cold-water shower. Hot water is available in the bathroom and for washing dishes. Breakfast and meals are available at the restaurant. A friendly, family atmosphere that can become quite festive. Honestly, the value for money is more than reasonable. The evening I arrived, there was a song and theater performance that I saw. If you have the chance to see their show anywhere in Sicily, this amateur troupe of over 50s, "50 o più," don't hesitate; the performance is worthy of professionals. I recommend this place and this troupe of artists 1000%. See for yourself in the photos.

16/11/2025: I don't usually write negative reviews, but this time I was truly disappointed. The portions were incredibly small, like a taste of everything. To try and satisfy our hunger, we asked for seconds several times, and some things never arrived because they were finished. Two small baking dishes for almost two people served seven adults. It's absurd. We're regular customers, but I'm sorry, but we won't be coming back.

07/10/2025: We had lunch there, it was easy to select. Sweet and Savoury food was good. They do have the couscous di pesce however there wasn’t a lot of fish on my plate. They have a high chair for the baby. Possibility to seat inside. Next to the very Nice Alagna Winery !

20/10/2025: A small, simple, cute, and clean place. We ate the famous raw red prawns from Mazara del Vallo, delicious fried fish, pasta with red prawn sauce, and sublime couscous. Highly recommended!

19/10/2025: I'd heard about this pizzeria, and last Saturday, despite having little time for dinner, I decided to take the plunge. The format is efficient self-service: you order at the counter and pick up your pizza when it's ready, then enjoy it there. Despite the crowds (the place was filled with customers eating in and taking out), the service was surprisingly quick and well-managed. While waiting, I sampled an excellent fritto misto: the panelle, mozzarella balls, and French fries were cooked to perfection, golden brown, and—most importantly—absolutely not greasy. It was quickly time for the pizza: I picked it up at the counter, and it was rich in toppings, well-cooked, and incredibly tasty. The prices are the same as takeout, with no surcharge for table service. This makes the value for money simply exceptional! The staff is extremely kind and attentive to customer needs. A definitely positive experience.

30/10/2025: Excellent experience. I came about a week ago, a real discovery! The fish was incredibly fresh and tasty, every dish, from the appetizer to the grilled meat, was delicious. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and professional, making us feel at ease. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, except that it felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Excellent value and a place we'll definitely return to.

28/10/2025: The food wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything especially impressive, for the price of 48€ for the main dish for two people. I've given the waiter 50€ and never got my change back - it wasn't meant to be a tip since it's already factored in the price. The person serving us understood our native language but pretended otherwise, communication was pretty difficult overall. There are no printed menus, just a QR code on the tables. The view from the restaurant is pretty, but the surroundings are trash-filled streets that do not look good at all. In summary, a decent meal that was quite overpriced. We only decided to eat there as this place was opened during siesta, we were the only customers there.

11/10/2025: Recommended by a friend, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. There was little attention paid to the table, and the two entrees we ordered had too much lemon juice, which overpowered the flavors of the fish. The consistency was also too soupy. We left almost everything and didn't order anything else, but I don't rule out the possibility that it was just our taste buds. The bill didn't take anything into account. It was also expensive.

07/10/2025: If you want to taste salt in your mouth, then go for it without hesitation. 2 possibilities: nothing is homemade and they add broths everywhere, where the cook doesn't taste his dishes and he should rethink his cooking. In any case, for the price-quality ratio, move on.

26/07/2025: Delicious products! We got them to go and ate them by the sea! The service was very slow as there were so many people wanting to pick up their products. You take your number outside and wait, then you enter one by one with only one person at the counter.

29/11/2025: While I wait to try the restaurant's food options again, I'm giving it a four-star rating, largely based on trust. I'm serving pizza tonight, so there's little to judge. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and the service is attentive, discreet, and has a familiar touch. The appetizers and pizzas are delicious. 06/10/2025: What a beautiful experience! It was like having a meal with family. Authentic Sicilian food at its best. Angela and her family are beautiful and so welcoming and warm. A bit of a drive into the agricultural area of Sicily but 💯 worth it!!

25/10/2025: Truly a fantastic pizzeria! We ended up there because I'm gluten-free. The gluten-free pizzas are made in a separate kitchen with homemade dough – extremely delicious and guaranteed gluten-free! They even serve gluten-free beer. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable about gluten-free products. The "regular" pizzas also taste very, very good – regional, fresh ingredients, traditional and unusual variations. Perfect pizzeria!

24/10/2025: Grani da Re – Pizzeria & Ristorante was a real highlight of our trip to Sicily. From the moment we arrived, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere had that lovely mix of warmth and authenticity that makes you feel instantly at home. The pizza was out of this world – easily the best we had anywhere in Sicily. The base was perfectly light and crisp, the toppings fresh and full of flavour, and you could really taste the quality of the ingredients. Everything was cooked to perfection in the wood-fired oven. I wish I’d tried their organic grain pizza, but I’ll admit I was a bit sceptical at first, having been disappointed by other local restaurants where the pizza was, frankly, quite poor. I’m kicking myself now, because if it’s anything like the one I had, it must be incredible! If you love pizza, make sure you visit Grani da Re – it’s an absolute must. We can’t wait to go back!
