07/11/2025: I'll just comment on the restaurant, which is good for its location and service, but I'd rather put the food on the menu than the rooms. The food is good quality, made with fresh ingredients, the service is top-notch, and the location is great. In short, three indoor dining rooms plus a garden open in the summer make the Monte San Giuliano restaurant a comfortable place to spend your evenings enjoying good food. Chef Matteo Giurlanda, a member of the Italian Chefs Federation, has made the authenticity of his products his forte, combining fresh ingredients (just think of the fresh homemade pasta) with authentic Mediterranean flavors. He begins with traditional Trapani recipes and explores the flavors of the Mediterranean basin: oil, almonds, olives, pistachios, garlic, tuna products, and more.

03/11/2025: A very simple but incredibly welcoming location. The owner is incredibly kind and attentive to all her guests' needs. The pizzas and the entire menu are delicious. Highly recommended.

30/10/2025: Excellent experience. I came about a week ago, a real discovery! The fish was incredibly fresh and tasty, every dish, from the appetizer to the grilled meat, was delicious. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and professional, making us feel at ease. The atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing, except that it felt more like a bar than a restaurant. Excellent value and a place we'll definitely return to.

28/10/2025: The food wasn't bad, but it also wasn't anything especially impressive, for the price of 48€ for the main dish for two people. I've given the waiter 50€ and never got my change back - it wasn't meant to be a tip since it's already factored in the price. The person serving us understood our native language but pretended otherwise, communication was pretty difficult overall. There are no printed menus, just a QR code on the tables. The view from the restaurant is pretty, but the surroundings are trash-filled streets that do not look good at all. In summary, a decent meal that was quite overpriced. We only decided to eat there as this place was opened during siesta, we were the only customers there.

15/11/2025: We stumbled upon this establishment by chance. First, we noticed the meticulous attention to detail in cleaning every corner of the premises, which is truly commendable because it speaks volumes about the business's operating policies and the trust they place in it. Excellent coffee, a good white wine by the glass, and the friendly service and high-quality products round out the experience.

10/11/2025: Delicious food! We stumbled upon it by accident, and after the season, we tried the grilled swordfish for the first time, and it was delicious. Plus, you can try the delicious local wine. We recommend it to anyone visiting Trapani. The service was wonderful 🤗 We highly recommend it.

11/01/2026: I don't recommend it, especially on Saturday nights. It's unacceptable that despite a 9:00 PM reservation for two, we were given a table at 9:45 PM. I understand the large crowds, but reservations shouldn't be accepted like this. Add to that another 45-minute wait for the pizzas to arrive. Despite this, the pizza was good and the waiters were very helpful.

23/11/2025: We went on Saturday evening with friends, and we immediately found the kindness and hospitality very welcome. Since it was our first time, the waiter recommended it to us. What can I say about the impeccable food? The waiters were always attentive and, above all, always smiling, even when the rooms were full. We will definitely continue to go there. Recommended.

30/12/2025: The food was amazing and my daughter loved playing by the fireplace and the playground. The best choice if you visit Segesta temple!

04/01/2026: We went for lunch on December 31st. Calamari salad was an appetizer, excellent. Fish couscous with firm grouper and broth on the side, I recommend it. Grillo white wine.

30/12/2025: The food was good, and the service was very friendly. Overall, everything was quite expensive. We were also very annoyed that we were charged €7 each for two small beers (0.33 l). We certainly won't be coming back.

25/10/2025: Relaxed location with super tasty local food. Lots of fresh fish options, and the couscous was delicious. The restaurant is family run, and they are kind and the food arrives well timed. Would highly recommend for large groups or families and couples. They have a cosy outside space. Grazie per la bellissima serata!! ☺️
