31/07/2026: The food was excellent, but not excellent. The couscous was very good, the pasta alla norma could have been better, and the tuna was very good. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were friendly.

16/03/2026: We went for dinner in a very elegant setting in the center of Mazara. The food was incredibly fresh, top-quality, and the service was very friendly. The prices were quite high, but that's understandable considering the quality of the products. Highly recommended, especially the mandarin sorbet and the truly unique and hard-to-find Tunisian pastries.

16/07/2026: We'd heard great things about this place, and that's exactly what we got. We had the fish couscous: spectacular. The lady, I think the owner, welcomed us with rare kindness. But what really stuck with me was her honesty. She advised us to stop for the couscous and then decide whether to order something else. Because here, the priority isn't quantity, it's quality. And the line outside proves it: fresh produce and a lot of professionalism. Truly well done. We'll be back before we leave.

14/06/2026: Far from the touristy San Vito, with its chaotic bars and restaurants, I dined at Alfredo, a quiet place, surrounded by greenery, a simple and simple but very pleasant place. I was welcomed with kindness and attention, the food was delicious, you can see they care about the customer, they also kindly brought us a nice slice of bruschetta with Trapani pesto as a welcome to the table, the evening went very well.

From the welcome snack, through the seafood platter, to the wine and main course – everything was delicious! We wholeheartedly recommend this charming place.

24/10/2025: La Prima Dea in Erice was such a lovely surprise. The food was beautiful, full of genuine Sicilian flavour, and made with top-quality local ingredients. The olive oil was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted — I could have happily eaten it on its own! What really stood out was the hospitality. The waiters weren’t pushy or trying to grab tourists’ attention like you often see elsewhere; they were genuinely proud of the amazing food they serve. Service was super quick too, which made it perfect for a relaxed but efficient lunch. We tried the arancini, pane cunzato and panino — all absolutely delicious. And the friendly chap outside, calling people in with his charming Italian accent, really made my day. La Prima Dea is one of those places that reminds you what good food and genuine warmth are all about. Highly recommended!

10/07/2026: Negative experience... the mixed grill was more of a "burnt mix"... we mentioned this to the staff in the dining room, and they were much more disappointed than the "maître d'," who only tried to justify it by saying that the ink visible on the fish was squid ink, because there was also squid in the grill... but squid ink doesn't taste burnt... As a colleague in the industry, I know these types of mistakes can happen (although someone with a good eye wouldn't have even let that dish leave the kitchen). But a professional tries to fix it... whether by suggesting they remake the dish, or even with a simple extra touch of kindness at the table, but here, no such thing.

08/07/2026: This restaurant primarily serves traditional seafood dishes, but I want to tell you about their sushi, which is truly a surprise. My wife and I are huge sushi lovers: we've eaten it countless times in Japan and other Asian countries (I lived in Asia for over 10 years for work), always searching for the best. Now that we're back in Italy, we'd almost given up hope of finding something different from the usual Chinese all-you-can-eat joints. 😣 If you're a sushi lover, or simply understand what it means to eat good sushi, I recommend you come here and try the tuna nigiri and the red shrimp nigiri: absolutely excellent, both in terms of the portions, the consistency of the rice, and the quality of the fish. The staff is incredibly kind. We returned the next day, late in the afternoon, after a trip to Erice... because I know it'll be hard to find great sushi again in Treviso, where I live 👋🥲... I almost forgot the Gunkan with sea urchin... fantastic.

21/06/2026: Best dinner we have eaten in Trapani during our stay. Cocktails Pack a punch and the starter was cooked to perfection. Service by the owner himself was very kind and professional, better than most other places we have been to in this city. We had places out on the street. A couple of cars passed by, but we had a street musician to entertain us.

04/08/2026: We went there several times during our holiday and enjoyed it immensely each time. The pizzas are crispy and delicious! The service was always friendly and professional. Even during the week, it's best to make a reservation.

03/08/2026: The pizza is very good and they're super fast. I recommend it. They also have outdoor seating. They're very courteous and friendly. Now that they've changed owners, it's a really good place; I wouldn't have set foot there before.

11/04/2026: Too bad you can't give less than one star, otherwise I would have. We went to eat the "famous" couscous with fish. A total disappointment. They brought us a huge plate but with a small central base, so if you wanted to fill up on couscous, it was just an illusion. There was a bit of fish on top of this couscous that wasn't even separated well but all mushy, a bit of concentrated fish broth on the side to moisten the heart of the couscous. I expected much better, to tell the truth, the fish on top was mackerel for me and inside the couscous no other type of seafood. My stomach and palate refused to eat the rest after a couple of forkfuls, so I left it there, also because after asking the owner what fish was in it and having listed sea bream, grouper, scorpionfish, and the best fish, he told me that they make the broth with fish "carcasses"! According to this, I left half the portion inedible! A total disappointment and not at all cheap! A bottle of water and half a glass of wine cost a whopping €36! When I got home, I ate it again because I was hungry! Think about it! Before paying a fortune and eating badly, enjoy a cheap and much better street food pie! A waste of money.

09/04/2026: I had dinner at this restaurant with friends who recommended it to me, and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Elegant, sophisticated dishes with rich seafood flavors. Their couscous with broth is a must-try: exceptional 😍 The trio of appetizers is also excellent. Compliments to the owners.

06/08/2026: It was absurd to arrive at the restaurant that evening and be told that the reservation, made five days earlier, didn't exist. They sent us to the "Sotto Sale" restaurant, claiming we'd gotten confused, when in fact the reservation had actually been made at the osteria. After returning, we waited a long time before being seated, as if they were doing us a favor. When it came time to get the bill, not a word of apology. The food was overall decent: the pasta with sea urchins and the tuna were good. However, the raw shrimp served with salt on top and the mussels with pepper were disappointing. The experience was especially negative regarding the service management. I won't be returning.

05/08/2026: Osteria del Sotto Sale is a little gem in the center of Favignana. My experience here was fantastic; everything was perfect, from the location, to the service, to the menu, and especially the quality of the food. Both meat and seafood options make this place suitable for all palates. Prices are in line with average prices.
