I had a little trouble finding my accommodation. The Swiss German-speaking owner was incredibly helpful. A very friendly person!! If I ever go back to Salemi, I'll definitely eat here again!!
27/01/2026: Having trekked through much of Italy, I was craving some good ol fashioned chicken after a sea of pork
Happened upon this quiet joint in the small town of Salemi and they made my wish come true.
The chicken wings were fantastic and cooked to perfection. The chicken burger was delicious with the perfect amount of sauce! 10/10 would recommend, a must visit!

06/07/2026: We had the Trapanese pizza, which was truly excellent! We wouldn't recommend it to anyone who doesn't like garlic, as it has a very strong flavor.
For dessert, we recommend the artisanal mulberry granita, made with their own fruit, and the cassatella: both truly delicious.
A strong point is definitely the service: courteous, polite, and attentive, a quality that is increasingly difficult to find these days.

15/06/2026: I recently visited La Conchiglia with friends. Pino and his wife Marianna, along with all the dedicated and professional staff, welcomed us to their restaurant, a bright and tastefully decorated space. The terrace overlooking the view is stunning. Delicious appetizers, flavorful traditional Pantellerian first courses, and the stuffed calamari are also excellent. In the evening, you can also enjoy Pino's long-leavened pizza: a true experience, incredibly digestible and delicious!
13/06/2026: At the end of May, I dined twice at La Conchiglia, run by Marianna and Pino, who are delightful. On both occasions, I was enchanted by the island's typical dishes, cooked with skill and passion.
I should mention that we paired our meals with an interesting, unfiltered, organic Pantellerian wine with an intriguing orange hue.

17/05/2026: The ice cream is really good, but unfortunately, every year I find some of the staff who don't know how to make the pieces (brioche or cone). They should be perfectly trained before serving the customer, especially considering the rising prices. It's a real shame.

28/06/2026: We came here for a quick lunch. The atmosphere was lovely and the place was very welcoming. As an appetizer, we were intrigued by the black couscous arancini. The idea was good, but the inside was a bit dry. With a little effort, it could become an excellent appetizer.
We continued with spaghetti with clams. The spaghetti was a bit undercooked and stuck together al dente. The clams were good, but the flavor lacked punch.
We also had squid ink bavette. It looked lovely, but unfortunately, the taste was disappointing; you couldn't taste the squid ink very well.
The staff was very kind and professional.

09/03/2026: I was in Marsala for a few days with my family. One evening my kids wanted pizza, so I relied on Google to find this pizzeria with so many positive reviews, and I ordered some. What can I say, the pizzas were super good. If we ever return to the area, hopefully this summer, we'll definitely be regulars.

11/06/2026: We stayed in a ground-floor room in the annex. The room was new and tastefully furnished. The location is very central, just steps from the town center and the port. Very quiet.
09/06/2026: We spent 2 days in this hotel on holiday in Favignana. Excellent location and clean, spacious rooms. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good with plenty of variety for all tastes. We recommend it and will definitely return. Thank you.

10/06/2026: Just steps from our accommodation in Macari, we dined on the terrace at sunset, which made the evening even more enjoyable.
The service was courteous and smiling, quick and attentive.
The atmosphere was pleasant, intimate, and charming.
The dishes were carefully prepared and presented simply and elegantly, with just the right portions.
The busiate pasta with Trapani pesto and the swordfish cutlet were excellent, perfectly crispy until the very last piece.
The desserts were delicious.
The prices were in line with other restaurants in the area; we paid a fair price for the quality.
10/06/2026: We stumbled upon it by chance and it was a wonderful discovery.
It has a truly beautiful terrace overlooking the sea; we watched the sun set right from our table.
It's definitely a place to visit in the evening for the view and, of course, for the food.
