The architect did a brilliant job placing the Rais's diaries inside the restaurant...the cuisine is above average for Castellammare's tourist restaurants...fair prices for the quality. The wine list is well-stocked. Perhaps the somewhat spartan service lacked a touch of elegance, but that was fine. The monastic cassata was super delicious...Recommended.

04/10/2025: I was here this summer and I must say it was a truly pleasant experience. The staff is exceptionally friendly and kind, with a warmth that truly reflects the Sicilian spirit and makes you feel instantly at home.
The prices are more than fair: €20 for a beach umbrella and two front-row loungers is a real luxury, considering that where I'm from, the same price is just for parking for a day at the beach.
Highly recommended for those seeking relaxation, a warm welcome, and the authentic flavors of Sicily.
19/07/2025: Zelig immediately gives you a warm welcome—in one word: family, always available. We've had quick lunches, tasty dinners, and carefully prepared dishes with a Sicilian flavor. We loved the evening they organize every Friday with a buffet, live music, disco, and fireworks to finish. I highly recommend an evening or a lovely day at the Zelig Lido.

16/08/2025: As a Neapolitan, I absolutely recommend this bakery, which offers a variety of delicious pizza slices on display. The owners (super friendly) will happily accommodate any craving. The sweet pizzas are definitely worth trying, as they're a match for even the best pastry shops.

31/10/2025: I had the pleasure of visiting this pizzeria and was very satisfied. The pizza is truly delicious, with fresh ingredients and a well-leavened dough, cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, perfect for an evening with friends.
A special thanks goes to Samanta, the owner, who was incredibly kind and hospitable, welcoming us with a smile and making us feel right at home... I'll be back.

07/08/2025: We stayed at Gabbiano Azzurro and had a truly wonderful time. The staff was incredibly welcoming and kind, making us feel right at home. We started with the house appetizer, rich and tasty, followed by the busiate pasta with grouper, which was spectacular. For our main course, we had sea bream, incredibly fresh and perfectly cooked. To top it off, we had the "bacio pantesco": one of the best desserts we've had on the island, made just right.
Fast service, excellent food, and more than fair prices for such a seafood dinner.
If we return to Pantelleria, a stop here will be a must.

01/10/2025: Good service from the waiters. Good pasta. Apparently, I'm not the only one who was a bit disappointed by the dish of the day and surprised to pay €25 for four paltry tuna meatballs, which were offered as a starter of the day and then paid for as a main course. They may be good (more flavorful elsewhere, in my opinion), but the dish wasn't worth €25, especially when presented like that without any clear instructions or price. The owner wasn't very attentive on this point, but simply continued to say that the tuna was special. The bread served was old and rubbery.
29/09/2025: All good, but perhaps it would be appropriate to disclose the price of off-menu items in advance. We had an appetizer and two first courses, a bottle of water, and a glass of wine for €95, of which the off-menu tuna meatballs alone cost €25.
